MapleStory Endgame Podcast Series: Episode 2 - Party Bossing Progression & Conflicts Ft. Comet

Special thanks to Comet for coming on today! Just to recap, he is the highest level F/P at 291 on the server!
So here is the 2nd episode of the podcast!
Todays topic had a lot of overlap from the previous one, and we mainly just talked about progression in general and what party bossing ends up looking like.
To be honest, this was fairly disorganized. It was mainly Nate and I just reflecting on personal experiences from what we've experienced and witnessed other people around us experienced.
I took some of the feedback from before into account (no keyboard noises, implimented a discord avatar for whos speaking, etc), but this was also done on a whim and I plan to make it much more organized for future ones (special backgrounds instead of ingame MapleStory afking, etc).
Personally the last 2 topics were a little grim and more doomer topics that most content creators typically avoid. In hindsight I should have spaced it out more, but whats done is done.
To give a better variety however, the next topic that I'll do will be regarding the AB Remaster!
I will keep a lot of these unorganized and more casual than professional, I think it fits better for this sort of thing with MapleStory players and its also much less work for me to do.

For the instanced drops issue- They could have the %damage contribution threshold per tier of item and some percentage scaling for contribution vs the strongest player(s) in the party for what tier you are elligible to recieve
t1 - ring/arcane boxes
t2 - twilight/similar drops
t3 - pitched
Ex. For someone carrying 2 people who does 70% of the boss' heath, player 2 does 20% and player 3 does 20%,then player 2 is eligible for pitched and player 3 only can recieve up to twilight. But if they both did 15% (20% of a carry doing 70% is the "threshold" for pitched loot) then both players are only elligible for t2 drops. But if youre carrying 5 people as a solo dps itll be almost impossible for the carries to do the damage to receive the higher tier rewards

Good shit bro a lot of improvements from the last one, if i can just add one more, maybe add a 3rd or even 4th person? its nice hearing several peoples perspectives because with 2 it feels a bit less diverse, keep it up!

one way to better incentivize party bossing more could be to allow harder difficulties of bosses drop a range of grindstones for example ckalos could drop 0-2 grindstones instead of 0 or 1.
