Because they're probably buying it off Amazon someone actually brought it to their doctor because it smelled so bad and they said it was fake. Which is why I don't ever buy anything like that off of Amazon it's easy to fill the bottles and say this is what it is.
Reason I didn't like the smell it is because it's shipped and sold by Amazon... I wouldn't buy any of this kind of stuff off Amazon if you look in the comments somebody took it to their doctor and their doctor confirmed it's not real it's fake.

The Seventh Generation says "Fresh Scent" on the front. However, you say that it is unscented
It is unscented as in no unnatural fragrances have been added it’s the natural smell of the plant based ingredients
