''if you're not sure of a kill shot, don't take the shot, if it's not meant to be, leave it be, there will be other opportunities''..my late father drilled that into me when I was a kid.
Finally I been waiting for this hunt video Being from San Carlos it’s badass to see you guys record this hunt and be successful because that hunt is hard especially during the winter time
My boy is 10, a few weeks ago my daughter, snapped her arm.... This November I am going into the hells canyon, too rough for a 10 year old... Yeah, hope I DONT GET THAT CALL EITHER. (A man has to come home).
Well done men, driven with perseverance! Casey, family first and super happy to see you did the right thing and ensuring your boy was good. I hope his recovery is going well. Brad from Southern Oregon.
With deer season starting up here in California this video is giving me inspiration to look forward to all the misery and suffering along with the good times. Thank you guys for the awesome videos!
Casey I’m sorry about your son, I love the hush crew I hope we bump paths sometime! In utah, Nevada, Colorado or Arizona. Congrats on your bull. We have 7 tags this year doing our best to film every hunt! Congratulations
Man thats rough. I hate being away from my kids. I love it when I can swing bringing the family to camp while we go out and hunt. This year isn't one of those years. Glad your boy is ok.
Congrats on a great bull guys!! You worked your guts out for him. Sad to hear about Gage, never fun for anyone. But I'm sure he's got right back to where he needs to be, longer recovery but I sure he kicked it's butt.
It doesn’t always go the way you plan but you keep grinding This is pure and real…. Life and its challenges are ever evolving. Nature is far more ruthless than the respectful compassionate hunter. The life of a hunter gatherer is a spiritual journey that some can’t understand. People are afraid of what they don’t understand. I know exactly what Casey felt! The heart of a hunter has many chambers. Sadness to take a life, respect to know the purpose and fulfillment of that life. Modern society has forgotten how survival rested in the hands of hunters and gathers!
best of luck to your son Casey! hope he is recovering quickly. remind him that we heal faster as young men, then we do as old guys! thanks for the video drop!
Once again Hush sets a standard Driven and Consistently sticking to the with it! Proving hard work and dedication pay off! Excellent work gentleman. I hope all healed well with Gage and in 2024 I assume Gage is back to normal! Congratulations! 👏🏼💪🏼🙌🏼🔥
HEY Casey if you see this tell your I wish him a strong recovery unfortunately know how it feels I did the exact same break on a bullet bike and have a rod in my right leg it was a metal challenge to recover and stay positive 🤘🏼 but just remember it will get better took me a entire year before I felt strong again so he’s gonna need some cool hunting videos to watch so keep entertaining us 💪🏼
That sucks he had to go overnight wounded but you got back out there and finished the job. Good hunt. I’m going on my 2nd elk hunt ever this fall. This got me super excited
Brother Casey i completely agree, day before any great day is better than the actual day!!! Seems silly but its absolutely true!!! The anticipation is what its all about, its why you dont shoot something on day 1....usually lol
What an awesome hunt, this was supposed to my year to hunt elk out west-but with some changes in my family dynamics I will have to wait. Thanks for sharing and helping keep my dream alive.
Wow just watched this one Wow this the best one yet you all totally dedicated and I know how tough it is in country like that Keep it up boys love all the videos
You guys should really start learning to shoot off tripods. Modern day sniper is a good place to start. It opens your doors to being able to create a shooting position almost anywhere on any slope.
Oh man that sounds awful. Poor gauge. Hope his recovery is going well. As you’ve helped my family and close friends if you need anything Casey please let me know. Beautiful bull for sure. Congrats.
One of the best videos from hush tells it like it is straight up hush life I would of love hiking them hills with y’all that’s a blessing getting a nice bull hard work pays off brother 🤙 keep em videos coming motivation
I felt all the emotion that Casey was going through when he said he just felt awful not being there for his son. All fathers know there are no limits to what we will do to protect our children or take away their pain.
Casey is such a great guy sorry you have to go through that it look like a rough week for you in general with you son and that shot but I truly believe it could’ve have happened to a better person though and I know you’ll tuff it out.
O boy's I love those hunts pain 4 a gd big o boy can't wait got a bear hunt at end of da month 2024 can't wait 4 da other hunts,an Casey hope ur son leg is way better now❤
My daughter broke her ankle in a high school soccer game, I was driving to hunt Idaho, 2200 miles from home and streaming the play by play on the truck radio when she got hurt. Feel your pain Casey.
@@gethushin yes sir. We were in Darby, Montana . Helpless listening to the radio announcer say the ambulance was on the field and they were loading her up.. All good ending. Good luck this season!
Adrenaline running thru your body, a moment on the last couple days with a spilt second to make a decision weather or not your going to pull the trigger and the panic of trying to get on him. You weren’t there, you don’t know. These guys are more educated in hunting elk and deer more than most people. They live and breathe it quite literally. It’s their job. If you’ve actually watched their videos, you can see the dedication these guys have put in over the years. They spent countless hours on the range with their bows and guns to make sure they are as confident they can be. They put more time and work in than you and the other 95 percent of people watching this. Everybody is always learning in the woods. You never stop. I don’t care how long you’ve been hunting. All you can ask is confidence in your shot, and he was. Think before you post.
So where did the first shot hit did it hit anything vital other than breaking its leg just curious about that really enjoy your videos best wishes to your son for a quick recovery
Question: With all your hunts,I notice that all of you are very conscious of wind/your scent. On this hunt (and many others) I notice that Casey does most to all of the cooking. So Casey, How do you deal with your clothing that you just cooked in?
Lol, Eric here. I get what you’re saying and trust me looking back I’m like “dang, those were nice bulls for the area” but at the time I was ok with walking away. And just wait til you see next weeks video when I went back and had that knowledge and how it paid off for me.
I give you credit for the hard hunting conditions but why send a hail marry right at the end only to wound and hope for the best?… I was a guide in Colorado twenty years ago and we never let someone take a shot that was questionable or a follow up shot would be impossible.
Bad shots happens but you got the job done! One heck of a bull and one heck of a story. Appreciate you guys showing the full truth! What did the bull score?
thats was great hunt boys glad ya got thru the storms and what it had to bring but sorry to hear about cage hopefully he has a fast recovery pictures look pretty crazy but I know he'll be up in no time congratulations on the bull casey!!!! get hushin❤🙏🏹💯👌..... Ohh ywah what tribe were ya hunting on if you down mind me asking??
Y’all are a bunch of haters! Casey made a slight mistake and wounded the bull. HOWEVER, did y’all see how they didn’t give up, tracked the bull down and finished the job? We’ve all made a bad shot before, it’s gut wrenching when you’re a conservationist who’s putting meat on the table but it happens. I personally visited with Casey in 2023 at the sportsman’s show in Portland Oregon and he’s got the biggest heart and his emotions run deep on hunts. All of the team’s emotions do. Good job Casey on your bull, see you soon enough brother!!
Helllll yeah, I'm laid up for a week after hernia surgery so a hushin video drop is exactly what I need🤘🤘❤️🙏
''if you're not sure of a kill shot, don't take the shot, if it's not meant to be, leave it be, there will be other opportunities''..my late father drilled that into me when I was a kid.
The best hunting films out there. Can’t wait to see what you guys do in the seasons coming up this year.
Appreciate it!
Sorry to hear about Gage. He’s a tough kid, though. We need him back on the channel. Awesome hunt! Sweet bull! Thanks for bringing it to us!
I do hope that Casey's son recovers fully with no long term issues from his accident!
Finally I been waiting for this hunt video
Being from San Carlos it’s badass to see you guys record this hunt and be successful because that hunt is hard especially during the winter time
I have an 11 year old and this is my biggest fear ever. I was right there in the emotions with Casey.

The amount of discomfort and struggle to make this is incredible. It was well documented in this one. Elk hunting is TOUGH. Nice work
With deer season starting up here in California this video is giving me inspiration to look forward to all the misery and suffering along with the good times. Thank you guys for the awesome videos!

Great film guys!! Way to keep a positive attitude!!! And Eric, such a giver! Dude you rock!!
Great job! I love the emotion. Thats how you know that you love it. And that’s why i watch you guys. 🤙🏼 Good luck this year in the Elk woods fellas.
Man thats rough. I hate being away from my kids. I love it when I can swing bringing the family to camp while we go out and hunt. This year isn't one of those years. Glad your boy is ok.

Probably wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the first shot...

Man as a dad with 3 wild young boys I felt Casey’s pain. Hope that young man heals but I know having metal in your body sucks the older you get

Awesome bull! Crazy muddy mess. Nice work Casey!
Great film guys! Glad your son is going to be ok.
Way to make it happen. Great team work 🤠👌
Caseyyyy should’ve waited on that shot. It worked out but poor ol’ bull had to spend all night with a shot leg

We agree hindsight is always 20/20. Easily could’ve edited it out. We kept it real.
