She comes at you with a chainsaw like move. If he ever used his left hand on accident instead of his right, he'd be dead. How could u even try to put up with that. I like her character but she legit attacks him almost every time they meet

Touma is the real MVP because he went 1v1 against his (future) esper girlfriend and didnt have the heart to punch he lights out. Consider everyone Touma knocks the fuck out. Misaka would have been easy, but he couldn't bring himself to be that guy against a girl who would cower in fear of actually being hit. Don't get me wrong, in a thousand ways, Mikoto Misaka is stronger than Touma, but when it comes to strength of character, Touma would rather pretend to be a weak nothing than hurt an innocent (though naive) girl.
It's much less possible, because he's very guarded against attacks on anywhere other than his right hand. Also he will just manage to twist his body and touch her with his right hand before she activates it. She hasn't learnt Rampage Dress yet, so physically he's stronger.

For those who watch a certain magical index, I think I figured it out after season 2. In academy city whoever creates the level 6 esper will be crowned as god, in the magical world there is an organization called the right seat of god where their strongest member is called Fiamma of the right. Put the two worlds together and it make sense, kamijo is the one and only level 6 esper created by none other than god himself. His purpose could be to bridge the two worlds together.

The closer Misaka did to something evil was allowing the Sisters experiment to be made, but she was unaware at the start of its true motives and process, and when she found out she tried to stop it even by sacrificing her own life. That's the opposite of what Touma considers evil, and I think that's the reason why he likes Misaka.
Let's all be thankful that Misaka is (kinda) the picture of mental health when it comes to the Level 5s. Looking at the others, it could have been a lot worse...

Most of the other lvl 5 are nuts like Accelerator... They are self centered and do not really care about the other around them. Beside Accel who see other has target practice, the other one only see the people around them has tools they can use for their gain. Only another one beside Misaka his good natured but his power is a bit dangerous and hard to get it...
In a way Touma is a genuine Level 0 thanks to his Imagine Breaker. Because it's literally an Anti-Magic making it the polar opposite of any known ESPer or even Alchemist powers.

that guy No he has never done that. He has only ever caught her lightning spears. the reason he cant catch the railgun is because he is only capable of negating powers. he cannot cancel the aftereffects of the abilities. as soon as misaka shoots her railgun the coin has left her sphere of control. She accelerates the coin but normal physics such as inertia keeps it going. this means that once a railgun is shot, touma cannot cancel it because the movement of the coin is the aftereffect of misaka accelerating it through a magnetic field. this is the same a why touma cant catch the objects accelerator has already thrown.
Railgun 3 has just started, so I don‘t know why you mentioned it under 2019 instead of 2020. And Accelerator‘s season 1 was already over in 2019, so it‘s the other way around, in this case.

Touma is sort of like squirrel girl in my opinion. He can make fighting stronger opponents feel like a cakewalk, but at the same time he struggles against weaker opponents.

Not sure if this is true, but pretty sure I read somewhere that imagine breaker seals Touma's esper ability as well as the eight dragons and the invisible thing. Pretty sure Touma is a level 4, but heard something about him being a level 5 and a half or something.

Regardless of martial arts he'd still have the same problems. Imagine Breaker is still only in one hand, so unless there is a one handed fighting style I don't know about, martial arts won't really help much against the stronger characters of the series.
I bet he will learn how to control imagine breaker to be more powerful, the problem is that probably he will become more unlucky. I also hope he can use it like a switch so he can decide to activate his power only when needed, so the rest of the time he can keep his power "off" avoiding to break good luck.

that guy No he has never done that. He has only ever caught her lightning spears. the reason he cant catch the railgun is because he is only capable of negating powers. he cannot cancel the aftereffects of the abilities. as soon as misaka shoots her railgun the coin has left her sphere of control. She accelerates the coin but normal physics such as inertia keeps it going. this means that once a railgun is shot, touma cannot cancel it because the movement of the coin is the aftereffect of misaka accelerating it through a magnetic field. this is the same a why touma cant catch the objects accelerator has already thrown.

Touma is sort of like squirrel girl in my opinion. He can make fighting stronger opponents feel like a cakewalk, but at the same time he struggles against weaker opponents.

Electricity would get conducted throughout his body and eventually reach his right hand and get insta-negated. It would sting him at best. Her power is just not built for taking on Touma.

If he was good at martial arts he'd be downright unstoppable.
Regardless of martial arts he'd still have the same problems. Imagine Breaker is still only in one hand, so unless there is a one handed fighting style I don't know about, martial arts won't really help much against the stronger characters of the series.
Except martial arts will give better dexterity as well as improve on just basic counters and agility. So a pretty dumb comment all things considered.

If he was really trying to hurt her, he could easily end the battle in 3 seconds by just sprinting at her with his right hand in front of him right as the battle starts and cancel out any electricity she tries to throw at him and then punch her once in the face and the battle would be over, there’d be practically nothing she could do against him
