We got our cab fab just about finished up on this supercharged LS3 C10. Now it's time to focus on the chassis! Our GSI chassis came with just about everything we needed to get this truck rolling. ALMOST! We still have to set our rear end though to make sure we have the proper angle for our drive shaft. We also have to start routing our fuel system with a whole ton of Vibrant and Aeromotive bits a pieces. Once our fuel lines are routed up we can bend some brake lines and hook up our Wilwood brakes on all four corns of this C10 chassis. Then, with our brakes and fuel system accounted for, we're able to start whipping up our hardline for the Airlift air management system. These are all the hoses, lines, and fittings that are going to make this chassis lay down on the frame, and pop it back up so we can do some smokey burnouts once our LS3 is ripping with the 3L Whipple supercharger!
Next stop with the chassis? Stripping EVERYTHING down for a metallic flake clear coat. We're also starting on a COMPLETELY custom dash and interior for this slammed Chevy C10. So make sure to hit that subscribe button so you don't miss a second of this insane build!
Make sure you subscribe to the channel so you don't miss us finishing up this build, or miss out on any of our other crazy projects!

BLUE SAPPHIRE!!! Dude, this is art.
Thank you so much!
So glad the frame's gonna have the 'bare' look, not the basic black look that's been overdone!
Agreed! Black is sooooo boring, but it does work on most builds
This is turning out to be one bad ass build! Can’t wait to see the smile on your customer’s face when he sees this thing done!
Hopefully we'll catch that smile on camera along with a giant burnout!
Great job David and Andrew, you too Mikey! This build is awesome. See you next week!
Thanks for all the support! See ya on the next one!
Awesome detail job on the GSI chassis, Andrew & Mikey killing it on the lines 👌
Thank you! GSI makes it super easy to get everything working right and looking good!
What flaring tools to you guys use? I have the eastwood tool and its hard to do tight radius bends because of the lengths on the dies. Looking for something like the handheld one you used.
Thanks See you at Dino's
Wow what an incredible amount of work! The rigid air lines are crazy cool! You guys are true artists! Cant wait to see the final result of this american classic
Thanks so much!
So epic! And I love the bare metal frame with metal flake clear. It is damn cool!
We wanted to make the frame a head turning part of the build. Not just a flat black foundation like it normally is!
Blue fairy dust on frame!
Dam man you guys are murdering these builds i would love to able to send my squarebody to you guys.
Thanks brother we can do some great things with a square, what year?
@SalvagetoSavage 1985 Gmc High Sierra short bed.
Great job guys love your work and love how Mike is on the tools not just telling everyone what to do or there just to pay wages 👍👍👍
Mikey likey tools, Mikey no likey sitting in the office
22” perfect 🔥💪🏽💪🏽
Very nice hard line plumbing for the air!
A whole lotta effort went in to getting them to sit just right!
That rear end/suspension is sick
That GSI frame really makes everything come together nicely!
Beautiful work gents 👏 ❤
It's official I need something with air ride now. 😍
It's definitely the way to go!
Fantastic work as always fellas, stuff like this gives me ideas and inspiration to keep going 🦾🦾🦾
We love to hear that! Hope all your projects are going well!
Ya man knocking them out slowly slowly one by one!
Your guys are awesome high level of detail keep up the great work love the channel
Thanks so much!
Damn damn damn.... pure Fire ..... killer job
Thank you!!
Amazing Work
Thank you! Cheers!
Bruh I wish I could have my s10 build by you guys😢 you guys build the best chevys I’ve seen on TH-cam
Thank you so much! We'd love to do a sick S10 build for you!
I’ve witnessed some of the greatest in hot rod, Mikey you and the shop are right there. You attention to detail is world class!
Thank you so much billy! Hearing that means a ton to us here!
im far from a chevy fan but this thing is dope love watching ur stuff when i can
Thank you! We try to make it more about the the work than about the brand, since by the time it's done the only thing that's still going to the chevy is the shell of this cab and the motor. We do have some cool F100 stuff from a while back if you're more of a ford fan!
Excellent progress. Impeccable install of all the lines. It's clean and efficient. Can't wait to see this finished.
Hopefully we'll have it started for y'all real soon!
This is awesome content. You guys kill it every time. 🔥
Well thank you very much
Dimebag double duece!!
Nice job guys
Thank you!
I'm Manel from Spain.
Very great work. I appreciate it greatly.
You are true automobile surgeons!!
Glad you like it Manel!
Nice job guys!
Can’t wait on a Continental update!!
We got one coming! We were waiting on the customer to make some final decisions with interior pieces, but we're back workin on the slab!
Absolutely...need updates on the "Slab"
nice clean work! lookin good!
Thanks!
Amazing work guys! Wish y'all could build my 54' Chevy!
And we’d love to get our paws on your 54!
I'll say it again coolest trucks on the Continent, possibly the world.
Thank you so much!
They make billet valve covers that cover the coils completely.
Yes, those valve covers do have the cover, but moving them cleans up the over all engine compartment
very good job guys 👍💪
Thank you so much 😀
Kinda disappointing to see an OG c10 cut up to make a bagger now when new cabs and sheet metal are available.
I appreciate your guys simple explanations of what a why you're doing things, always.
Finish the Chevelle! please lol
We're workin on the chevelle in the background getting enough video together to put an episode out for y'all!
Battery and fuel lines on the outside of the frame seems pretty sketchy. A good hit in that corner and that truck is on fire. 🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful work 🫡
Thank you 🙌
metal candy 🍭)) good job guys 🤙👍
Thank you!
Love you guys work. All of you are detailed oriented. Would love to send a build to you one day.
We'd love to have your ride in here man! Thanks for all the support!
Pure Art
Excellent work Mikey and Crew!💯👍💯👍💯👍 Great video!👏👏👏👏👏
Well thank you sir! 🙏🏻
Great work, except that the airlift manifold is upside down. Manual says it must not be mounted with the pipe fittings upwards.
Other than that, lovely. ❤
It's a good idea to check the air lines for leeks... 😁😜
i believe i would install rubber feet under the floating bracket for the air pumps, i´m sure through vibrations from cycling and driving these will eventually fail, or maybe not but bettersafe than....
Everything needs to get blow apart for paint before final assembly. That's when we put in all of our extra bushings and isolators!
Nice to get the coils off of the valve covers. Just to be safe, use grommets when wires go through metal. Great job!
Thanks, will do!!
Loving the longer form uploads. Keep it up!!
Glad you like them!
That frame is going to look sweet just cleared with flake!
We wanted to make it a standout part of the build, just as much as everything else. GSI really makes a work of art so we wanted it to be a highlight
That was a bit of plumbing required for the truck there. It is neatly done though. 👌
It was a whole lot of bending and cutting but definitely worth it! Thanks for all the support every week my man!
So Dope!
Thanks!!
Damn… just damn! That is so fukin clean
Appreciate you and the comments as always brother
Y'all are killin it!
Thank you!
Top tier work🫡
Thank you!!
master
My savages
Luis! Hope your week is going well my dude!
Clean work! 👍
Appreciate it!
Thank u
Thanks for watching!
Clean lines! Makes me want to order nicer hardware for next project
Ok, I get it; however, that fuel regulator on the frame rail…idk about that one
We've run the same set up & placement on a fuel of our builds now and it works out great for us!
Sickk
Thanks!
dang. gonna have blocks for sparks? lol. was it tungsten? i really dont remember what they used to use a long time ago. what a pretty build though. love you guys's work
People are putting titanium to shoot sparks now!
Is the air manifold, going to stop access to the fuel pump, great video MEN, cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Well good question, and my answer is…. If I’m fact we need to get to the pumps, the tank drops out from the bottom with 4 bolts.
@@SalvagetoSavage no worries, and just to let you, it was an innocent question, I wasn't trying to be an arsehole, loving the build so far, and the flake in the clear coat will look sensational
wow this vid is great but it sure looks like a big pain in the ass bro ......but a great job love it so far
Definitely a back breaker! But it will all be worth it!
Love the attention to detail!! What are the little square clips you’re using to hold the brake line to the frame? (Time - 14:30)
👍👍👍🤙
What's the story on the fastback Mustang on the lift? Any videos of that coming out?
Not that one. It was just a motor rebuild and working out some issues/headaches the owner was having.
Coils are going to get wet
Any concerns about water/road damage having the coils that low? I know ideally this thing wouldn't see anything too rough, but that seems a little too much like an invitation for disaster.
Great question! A little more concern that having them up higher in the engine bay, but the bumper will block it from any potential road hazards, on top of the fact that the actual coil sets are being guarded behind that bar that it's mounted to. We're not super concerned about the water. We've run slammed trucks with no inner fenders that have probably shot up similar amounts of water at the coils with no ill effects. This truck isn't a daily driver for the customer by any means so we doubt he's going to be driving it down any flooded streets!
There is nothing simple about bending tubing. I have done enough to know that I need a lot more practice 😂
Are you guys using automotive coolant in the plasma table?
It's not automotive coolant, but the chemicals are probably identical if we had to guess!
Serious eye candy, it’s almost a shame to cover it up.
Right! That chassis is meant to be seen!
How will anyone get that fuel pump out with that bracket in the way? Does the tank drop down and out?
Yup! its bolted from underneath so it can be dropped out with a little shimmying. If it needs to get taken out from the top for whatever reason, the hard lines for the air management system can be unhooked and that airlift manifold can be moved out of the way too. It wouldn't be hard to do, just take a little bit longer
Ok. Great work as usual! The air lines look very nice and neat! Damn near perfection work so far!
NIce job on the bends in the Air lines. What benders did you use?
thanks brother. I got that bender off amazon. wasn't the best but got the job done. we also use a smaller Ridged bender that is better quality
what fittings are those on the airline?
well the ones coming out of the manifold are Jegs (3/8 orb to -6, the rest are from Vibrant
@SalvagetoSavage I appreciate you responding. I'm going to hard line my truck and have been looking for some nice clean looking fittings that would go with my build theme. Thank you again
Where's the third hardline on the right side going to?
its the exhausted air from the manifold
.
It's "lopped" off, not "lobbed"off! 😂
Tomato, potato
@@SalvagetoSavage - In any case, I really love that you're taking the time to replace the rotted cowl/firewall metal. Keep on keepin' on!
Something ain’t right with thag frame. You shouldn’t have to notch the cab a FOOT on the inside to fit a driveshaft and you should be able to fit 24s in the rear.
Definitely no where near a foot cut into the cab and the only way to lay frame on 24s would be to switch out the tires. And even then we'd be rolling on rubber bands, which on a supercharged truck that would be pushing over 600hp, is not ideal!
@@SalvagetoSavage smart move on the tires, but I have a 68 on a porterbuilt frame and I didn’t even have to do more than a high hump cover to fit a 4l80. All that modification to get the trans and driveshaft in is poor engineering by gsi
Fairy dust, don't do it.
I see Andrew installed a Tool Bag under the hood in the merch commercial.
Am I the only one who thinks the orange wheels actually look good with the Smurf blue?
Those orange wheels do look rad, maybe we can just run those at Dino’s 😛
@@SalvagetoSavage Not what I meant, but 😆
How to turn a real truck. Into a pile of worthless garbage. Watch this video and see
We’re all entitled to our opinions Ed, unfortunately you are standing all by yourself on this one brother
@@SalvagetoSavage uh no. Sorry that isn't a truck anymore
no now its a bad ass restomod worth like 250k. @@edfarms3168
That`s like watching my hot girlfriend putting on her makeup. It just gets more and more beautiful.
Just make sure your girlfriend doesn't see this comment! From experience, they normally don't like getting compared to old trucks! hahaha
