So proud of Jon Chu for pursuing this passion and taking the time to develop the ideal cast. I have seen Wicked the movie and it is amazing! Looking forward to part II, paying homage to the original 1939 movie will be a testament of his mastery.
The casting is great. I know there are many amazing singers competing Lea Michelle to name one, but i really think they did a great job here. Jonathan Bailey is perfect for Fiyero. Amazing actor and dancer who can sing
Wicked has set the bar so high for what it means to create a Live Action Movie. Disney should be pay attention cuz their movie in March 2025 isn't doing so great. 🖤
I think it is very Ariana. I listened to every creature great and small she sang when she was a little one. It has lyrics about giving back and I think she gave Glinda her all. I thought maybe in the shower she doesn't wear makeup but it is always Ariana underneath. You just have to see a little clearer. Maybe that is how we can give back. Seeing the Glinda in Ariana and the Ariana in Glinda. We can take off our make up and start again afresh, fully committed to our new roles.
