Dank Clouds what you mean and fool? 99% of people when they are 20 are just lazy fucks who wants to party and have a good time. Living with their mommy and not even having a part time job. Of course it’s a big deal
Mike Tyson fascinates me. Even with all that power and size and speed he was still afraid of the world. I think he was afraid of people getting passed his mental defenses and manipulating him; he knew he wasn't the brightest person and he was very uneasy with it. Look at his body language with Brenner, the physical contact. He trusts Brenner because Brenner clearly respects him and would do him no harm. Tyson is like a little boy inside the body of a herculean, rage-filled man.
Mike Tyson could and should have been the greatest of all time if he didn't fire Kevin Rooney, and get involved with don king its a shame, but mike tyson still a legend
The odds were completely stacked against him, he was a young black poor orphan who rose up out of his predicament solely because of "the gift of fury" that God bestow upon him
I saw Mike Tyson fight about a year before he became champ. Cant remember what it was on but I remember, just like david brenner said, Literally hearing his punches and I said he was going to be champ. I believe like 01wwjr said. He was the greatest heavyweight. If he had not lost his trainer and then if Givens had not come along he would have stayed champ way longer
6:27 He lived up to it. This man reached Mt. Everest, fell off, and then rose back up from the brink of destruction. Hats off to you Mike Tyson. Living legend
Love it, very good job finding this and uploading it thank you very very much! Please Check out my Mike Tyson - In his Prime video. Uploaded it Jan 15th so its new :)
@sjewitt22 its more than givins and king. its jacobs, cayton, rooney torres, atlas, and almost everyone else in his life. they all got their pound of flesh from him
if he had improved from how good he was here at a normal rate to the age of 26 to 30 he def could of been best, boxing is strange though it's not like most sports where most players more or less have peak years around similar ages it seems to be random. but still if he never got used by giverns and espically king he'd of been alot happier.
don king was already his promoter when he became the youngest hwchampion. Tyson/Hosea was the first fight with don king in June 1986. After the Spinks fight in 1988 he became his manager.
Luis Cortez he's worth more than trust and he put 5 million in each of his kids trusts, he's not bankrupt he still lives in a mansion just not as rich as he was
Look at how popular he was back then, to what he's viewed at now. Tha gu had the world at his feet and tossed it all away. It remeinds me of the saying in the movie the bronx tale. :theres nothing worse than wasted talent; and he difines that phrase through and through.
He was only TWENTY YEARS OLD!
TWENTY!

He seems like a very nice person today.
He may have had some temper flare ups when he was younger but most young men have.
Mike Tyson could and should have been the greatest of all time if he didn't fire Kevin Rooney, and get involved with don king its a shame, but mike tyson still a legend

"this sport can take men from humble beginning and have then rub shoulders with kings"-mike tyson
He should of been the greatest ever. Someone should show him the tape now.
how prophetic his words. gave me chills. when he talked about being broke and punchy in the future.
So humble before he met Don King.

He sounds like such a nice guy. I thought he would sound deep voiced considering how intimidating he is
How does a deep voice equate to toughness
Deep voice, Big voice
Intimidating = yes
Strenght,brave,tough = no
He’s an amazing man blessed by AHIGHER POWER GOD
