- We're taken behind the scenes for a unique and nostalgic mini-documentary of Stephen's attempt to qualify for the 2023 World Snooker Championship. Stephen's coach Steven Feeney and tournament director Paul Collier talk about the impact of Stephen's entry, his expectations, and the dream of reaching the crucible one more time. Stephen surprises himself by opening with a century taking his career competition tally to 777 centuries. Thanks to WST for giving us access to the venue and BTS content. @Wayne Anthony Holmes Absolutely agree. In his first 10 years he won nearly everything. 7 World Titles 2 runner ups is just absurd. No doubt Ronnie is a great player but he has won all his tournaments over 30 years. Hendry, Davis & Reardon dominated a decade. Davis & Williams won all 3 Triple Crowns in the same year. Hendry did it twice! 5 WT's in a row too. The 🐐 for sure.

I personally dislike much but very much Messi and basically all from a nasty and fraud club called FC Barcelona but Messi is a legend.

Same, I was a child prodigy type in the clubs as a kid, my dad was quite the player, I was diagnosed with coats disease at 11yo, it progressed badly and made me pretty much blind in one eye, I never gave myself the motivation to adapt my game and fell out of love with it. This channel has brought that fire back after 20ish years.
It's absolutely brilliant to see Stephen back on the table playing, a true legend of the sport. Also, this channel has been one of the best things to happen to the snooker in a long time, can't wait to see more. #ClearUpAndWinTheFrame

Will help having a straight one. hard to hit precise point on white ball if cue is bowed at least that’s what I’ve found when having to borrow crap ones at snooker halls lol tip kind of ends up moving as you cue up and down the curve, only takes mm’s don’t it to miss.

This brings me back to my younger years. Thanks for doing this. I wish you all the luck. No matter how it goes, taking this step just shows how big of a Legend you are. It's way easier to stay in shadows, living on the old fame and be keyboard warrior. Takes real courage to try to come back again.

We won't care if next year you take a break from the youtube channel and other things in order to really knuckle down and focus on practice and zoning in for the next World Champs, Stephen! Would be amazing to see you cut your way into the later stages! Keep it up, your game may be much more of a struggle than back in the day, but you still have so much more potential in you to tap back into! I played pool growing up being lucky enough to have a pool table in the family home. I recently got into snooker and really love the sport, the history, the folklore. Stephen Hendry’s channel is one of the most authentic places on TH-cam and I adore the content he creates.
