Ken is still so capable, probably got a lot of natural talent. I wonder if he tried a mental coach once, because he used to be the comeback king and I do think he is one of the old-timers who really still has a decent game, even to go deeper in a tournament.

Yes he had more the Higgins or Williams all round game with no real huge weakness. If anything he should have a better chance than Hendry with his more patience and much better tactical and safety game than Hendry. He fits more into the mould of the modern player.

@Masters Champion Judd Trump Top Notch and TOP NOTCH CHANNEL. This channel is helping many people across different countries from 2 great players, one an absolute Legend, there have been a good few players on here sharing their knowledge, try be more positive, instead of going looking for 2 word comments that your reply is just negative. Stop talking rubbish as well. To say these things you obviously know nothing of the past nor Davis nor Hendry. Two completely different players, but both conquered a whole decade, it took underhanded tactics to stop Hendry and he had already achieved in a decade WITH CLASS of 92 THERE, what no one has done since. Davis was like a robot very hard to get past, then Hendry became the standard bearer that all looked up to as he raised his game so that everyone else would. Hendry was unique and on his own level at one point. It's easy copying players syle and being similar as the rest just like a lot of todays "so called" high standards, well think about someone with todays standards then absolutely changed the game and raised above the rest, THAT was Hendry. Obviously you are jealous of the mans achievements. Call yourself a snooker fan knocking 2 Legends, this is what is wrong with this generation of fans, they think they know better, when in fact they don't. I watched snooker since the 80s, haven't seen anyone come close to the way Hendry was during the 90s very early 00s until the threats and then his cue broke was probably the catalyst to him sliding, but he already had 7 WC, so job done. Davis/Hendry/Osullivan/Higgins are the best I've seen, guys like Williams/Selby/Trump are close but missing something extra, like these 4 I mentioned. White was gd as well at the time, but obviously the drink/drugs just got to him, same with A. Higgins. Probably Hendrys recent comeback to why some of these daft "Higher Standard" Hendry would not stand a chance nonsense comments. The3res a big difference between someone with hunger and MANY years practice straight and youth, compared to Hendry now and been there done that, picks and chooses what he does, and now justs want to help people, he ain't got time to practice 24/7 and do commentary, look what just happened to him when he showed up on a different show, yeah they have always tried to keep Hendry down ALWAYS. People like yourself don't help, reminds me of all the acid threat crap from crazy fans, that take it too far, show some respect eh!

Just as a viewer I always used to regard Ken Doherty as one of Stephen's most formidable opponents. A lot of players would wilt under the Hendry reputation, but not a bit of that when it came to Ken. I remember one match: I forget the details now, but I think Hendry eventually won it something like 9-5, and 7 out of Hendry's 9 were centuries. In other words the only way he could beat Ken was to keep him off the table. The pressure to score high on every visit was palpable the whole time.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it: With the balls lined up this way, score a minimum maximum break. (15 reds, 15 yellows, clear up. 72 points, though it'd be 69 in this case since they only put 14 reds on the table.) 😁
