I ordered a magwell and two +2 baseplates yesterday and it was shipped today and i should receive Thursday. Cant wait but in a couple weeks i have to order more baseplates.
I want to buy but, I’ve got a couple questions: (1) What baseplate do I need for the 15 and 17 Round OEM mags? I want to keep the grip as short as possible, so I don’t want any extensions. (2) will this install over my talon grip pros? Thanks! Love your products. Keep up The great work!
Both our +2 and base plate are the same size so either will work, and be shorter then your 17rnd mags, as our extension is shorter then the one on the 17s. As for your gallon grip, you will need to trim it back a little.

Just ran a couple hundred rounds through the +5 extensions, was dropping them all day for training purposes and noticed one of my set screws backed out and was missing. Do you sell a individual packet of set screws?

On the 10rnd mags yes, on the standard 15, I wouldn’t recommend it. You could easily cut too much and weaken the plates to the point they could brake under the pressure of a loaded mag
@@casimiroperez9427 most work themselves in, you can try stretching the springs a little. You can also change the spring out to one of our Glock extra coil springs. I have been testing them in the HCP mags with the +2 and +5 and they have been working great!

I designed the Magwell to have as seamless a transition from Magwell to frame as possible, if I made it to work with the stock plates it would be ineffective as a Magwell. We make plates as well as extensions if you don’t want to add capacity
Im on the website looking at the pricing for porting my hellcat pro. Is it possable to get it ported and not pay for the extra coating ? Will it be scratched from the porting process?
No it will look clean still with the enforcer porting. This one in the video has not been refinished. The slide and barrel is a carbon steel though so there is some risk of rust if you don’t take care of it. Just a little oil wipe down when you clean your gun should be fine
I have a few questions . I purchased this set up . I put the plus 5 on a 17 round mag and it seems to only fit 17 still . I also purchased the plus 2 and put it on a 15 round mag and I can only fit 16 . Any ideas ?
@@969Garage hm, the +5 on the 17rnd mag will get you 20, as the 17rnd mag is just a 15rnd with longer spring and stock extension. Make sure you removed the stock locking plate. And the 15rnd with +2 will get you the 17 but it is a tight fit for the last round. That one doesn’t have a locking plate as they use the spring. Let me know if that helps. Hit your local goth-shop and ask for “I-hate-my-family black”. Just clean with alcohol first and you should be good. I’ve never had to reapply (granted, I’ve only used it for dots, not the U-shape)
This is an edc version, it’s a little wider then the frame but still very concealable and useable. Some EDC style magwells out there are so small they are basically useless
I noticed with the 17rd factory mag the spring follower was on the base upon taking apart the mag, but when installing the +5 it was installed first. What’s the reasoning?
Sorry I’m confused at what you mean. The follower is the plastic peace at the top of the spring that pushes up the bullets. The 17rnd mags (15rnd mag with a stock extension) have a locking plate that holds on the extension. We remove that plate and lock on with the set screws. If you are meaning the direction that the extension slides on, the +5s go on from the back to give the best shock resistance and durability if dropped. The +2s go on front to back only because of spacing issues with the back of the frame. Couldn’t get a solid hold going back to front with the angle of the mag on that extension. But still locks in securely with the screws

We are making the 10rnd mag plates very soon. So they will be available in the next month or so. You can modify the stock 10rnd plate to work in the meantime time. Just chamfer the sides with a file or something. But yes ideally you will change out the plates once we have them so that they fit properly and stick out enough for easy mag changes. The ORM ones will sit inside the Magwell a little
Got my magwell and +5 extension to put on the 15 round magazine. I haven't ran a mag through it yet but I did notice it's not locking back when cycling the slide. Overall, solid products and I love the way the Hellcat Pro looks now.

I haven’t seen there extension, but we have the first Magwell for the hellcat pro, and all extensions I have seen are designed to the size and shape of the frame, where ours are designed to work with the magwell. So I doubt that they would work. In order to make a proper Magwell the extensions have to have a narrower profile to fit inside

It’s a common Allen wrench for the screw in the Magwell. I believe it’s a 5/32 but I’m not 100% sure. We are closed Fridays but if you call in Monday and hit 2 to go to the shop I can verify for you

Both work for either mags as the mag body’s are the same size. The 17rnd mags have slightly longer springs as they come with the stock +2 to make them 17rnd
@@FilthyFirearms the set screw will bite into the polymer of the frame and hold the Magwell on securely. You shouldn’t need anything else as long as you follow the video and do it right. Using epoxy will make it permanent and not able to remove without damaging your frame.
No, problem is that the frame is too short, it would need to be a grip extension as well as a Magwell, basically making it the same size frame as the pro and you would have to switch to pro mags

Only our plates and extensions are designed to work with our Magwell as we currently have the only hellcat pro Magwell out. The Magwell is designed to funnel the mag into the frame so in order to make that work properly the extension has to be a slim design

No, the regular hellcat frame is too short, would need to be a grip extension aswell as a Magwell, then you would need to change to pro mags.
