EDIT: As of patch 3.6 Synthesis, this specific type of low-level farming has been nerfed. Fossils now spawn in low amounts at low levels, increasing as you go deeper. I will be investigating the profitability of fossil farming in the near future! A lot of people seem to be confused when I'm talking about why I focus Magma Fissures over other biomes (ie, Fungal & Petrified which can drop Dense Fossils worth ~9c). The fossils that commonly are found behind Fractured Walls in the Magma Fissures are Pristine (5.5c), Prismatic (5c), Enchanted (10.5c) and Scorched (0.5c). Since they all have a roughly equal chance to spawn behind a fractured wall, the average value of those fossils is ~5.4 chaos. Do the exact same thing with Fungal Caverns (Dense=9c, Aberrant=0.33c, Corroded=0.33c, Perfect = 3c) and you get an average fossil value of ~3.2 chaos. Therefore, it is more profitable to farm Magma Fissures over Fungal Caverns on average. Yes, you can get Dense Fossils in Fungal. At the same time, you will also get tons of low-value fossils, driving your hourly profits down. While we certainly aren't losing money by focusing on Fungal Caverns over Magma Fissures (in fact, you SHOULD run through long stretches of Fungal, Frozen, & Petrified if it is convenient), it is those differences in farming PRIORITY over a long period of time that makes the difference between 450c/hr and 400c/hr. That is what it means to 'min-max' farming.
@@Redishere Partially wrong. Dense are sold at 7c or more in betrayal (selling in bulk, which means 10 or more at a time, or at least I intend it so). Lucent ratio is 3:1 chaos, so 1alch is correct

I'm new to the game and haven't found a way to farm with efficiency yet (my occultist level 85 dies a lot). My ranger is level 55 and it also dies a lot. I guess I shouldn't have that much speed early in the game. What do you use to level up a ranger (gear, spells)? Also I think this build is too pricey, like 10 ex to get all the gear, which is impossible to get without the gear...that's my biggest problem in the game now. Any suggestions?
Low-level delve is really strong (broken IMO) I Jumped into Betrayal really late (~4 or so weeks before league end), played a real meh build (Pure Phys EQ). Lucked my way into figuring out a similar tactic when I realised long delves in the magma biome yielded very consistent pristines. Still managed to make roughly 40-50c per hour using the 'dive into the darkness for walls' tactic, which is really impressive considering I did not optimise to farm this way. (Didnt delve at the optimal depth, played a naturally slow build, didnt understand bulk sales, didnt use sulphite scarabs etc.)
what is the best delve depth to farm tonnes of azurite at pre setting this farming setup? like to upgrade sulphite to 22k, decent light radius, decent dark res, flares etc.
So my question is how do you get to a high level necessary to have most of the skill points in his build. It seems like you would have to spend a lot of time leveling in maps before you can begin low level delving, plus you would have to respec most of your build as well as items used. Also, how does he clear T16 maps for sulphite with this build? I’m interested in following his guide but I’m not sure how to get to this starting point. Thanks!
Those are all very good things to be thinking about! The fact is, my build should not be followed strictly and should serve more as a template for how you want to think about your characters - just put movement speed on them. It's a highly specialized character built only to run low level delve super fast. Leveling like that would be a nightmare without tons of experience and clearing T16 maps requires a quick gear swap. Running at 500% movement speed isn't necessary. 300% is achievable by most characters and is still very comfortable.
great vid, although ive moved on to SSF, still great for farming for myself. The stress of selling/trading constant whispers/price checking etc it ruins the game imo.

@@Ryndika So you just get carried by someone else? How do you even do a merciless lab, let alone uber lab? How do you get sulphite in t11, let alone t16? How do you level to level 90?
@@1211-n4d lvl to 90 with similiar tree. Mediocre gear should be enough, it's pretty speed build if u run like random t8 rare maps or smth. Idk how u get sulphite, didn't watch 100% of the vid so maybe I missed the most crucial part of this strat. You can force daily on white map though and maybe it gives enough sulphite considering the sulphite costs per node is super low.
Slight fallacy at 3:20, fungal caverns drop dense fossils with fairly regular consistency which can very easily sell for 7-9c per with a stock pile. I've been doing a lot of low level delving this league and it has always been worth it for me to run fungal caverns when ever possible.
I think there might be a bit of confusion with my statement. It's worth it to run Fungals, but not as worth it compared to Magma Fissure. Fungal Caverns spawns Dense, Aberrant, Perfect, and Corroded Fossils with roughly equal rates. Dense = 9c. Aberrant = 0.33c. Corroded = 0.33c. Perfect = 3c. (9+0.33+0.33+3) /4 = ~3.2 chaos average value of fossils in Fungal Caverns. Do the same math with Magma Fissure and it's >5c avg, making it more profitable to stay in the Magma Fissures.
I see from your profile you've changed up a lot of gear. How does the new set up feel? Sorry for newb questions, just diving into farming, currency, etc of PoE.

Can you pls advice how to lvl this build ? I brought one around lvl 50 but it cant kill. And most importantly i cant buy most of the items because they are very expensive for someone that wanted to make this build to make some currency :)
Maybe this question isn't very relevant but in your opinion how much time takes to get at that level of gameplay/farming (or at least close to)? I'm very new to the game (installed one month ago more or less) but I'm getting really hyped about guides/builds/videos I find and about the idea that even if they require tons of resources I will get them sooner or later, is just a matter of grinding... is this reasoning true or I am fooling myself? Do you think is possible to get quite a good amount of wealth even not being hardcore as in this video? Thanks for any answer and sorry for my english :D
So while the time wont be the same obviously, is this doable for any build, im running VD poets pen ascendant and dont care about challenges, just looking for currency farm methods.
Hey, thanks for the guide, it's great. Have you tried any methods of doing something like this in Synthesis? I've been trying it today and it's still decent profit but definitely not as much as you make in this vid since it got nerfed. Would love to see a vid with new strategies.
try build first and see. no dmg at all. i had to respec entire build to something else. no way u can do t16 maps with this. u have to ask friends to carry you.
Love the videos, glad to see a new pro build come out so soon. I have been copying your build from the last guide, attempting to invest in each item exactly. Yet I am finding that the damage feels lacking at times. Do you change anything from these guides when going about everyday mapping or other aspects of the game?
The builds that I use are highly optimized for the specific content seen in the video, but aren't all that great for anything else! For example, this build wouldn't be able to clear red maps without changing out gear or tree.
@@Daykun are there any changes which you make in order to make it able to clear everyday content or do you purely use it for fossil and syndicate farming?
@@callumfortune8689 budster are you trolling? u need like 50-70 c each time u respec from one to another, syndicate requires more ms,and can sacrifice hp/dmg, delve one cannot, mapping one requires hella another tree and defensive layers. U cannot *adapt* it in a way its would be a great allrounder for all three of contents :)) either lvl more chars for that either sit long enough on it, so the respec cost wont hit you hard
Travensy ahh thank you, I was just confused as am new ish to the game, in the syndicate guide, Daykun mentioned how he had invested a lot into the char and used it as a main mapping char, that was the part that confused me as I saw this as having a way of swapping out certain aspects to make it a better mapping char. Thank you for clearing up that this is not achievable without large investment each time.
How do you guys lvl this build, without dying non stop and lacking dmg, Im following the tree and trying to get Daykun's items, currently stuck at 64 ?
Ohhhh nooooooooo you do not want to try to level with this build. This character was respecced from another character and is made to either farm Syndicate or Low Level Delve very well. It isn't very useful for anything else. I'd recommend searching up guides on the forums for Deadeye Tornado Shot builds - which is what this character is based off of... but with more movement speed.
You can put fossils in resonators ( up to 4 depending on the resonator) and then use that on an item to turn it into a rare with certain mods decided by the fossils. It's a crafting mechanic. Example: You take a fossil that gives "more life, no shield", put it into a resonator and hit your white item to turn it into a rare with a guarenteed life mod.
Thanks for the vid. Subbed since I've appreciated the insights from all your vids so far. Curious how you get sufficient sulphite to sustain running many delves? More specifically, since the character is not built to run high-tier maps, adding a sulphite scarab to an occassional T16 wouldn't really work with this method?
That's a great question! The build I have is specifically made to run delves as fast as possible and is weak in high tier maps as is. I usually just spend 30sec or so swapping to gear I have stored away (gloves, boots, ammy, belt, +flasks) to run the T16 maps. The normal gear swap I do involves Tombfists, Bubonic Trail, Yoke of Suffering, Stygian Vise. That's more than enough to safely clear T16 on a bow build, as long as the Abyss Jewels socketed are reasonable.
Hey Daykun, one Q: What exactly got nerfed? The amount u can get in the Delve overall or the zones as itself having a diff. droprate? PS: Thanks for making these awesome Videos!
My bow is pretty atrocious. The only meaningful mod is the 10% movement speed and the shaped item base. Ideally, you h ave 10% MS and the mod that adds cold damage for every 10 dexterity, in addition to other damage mods.
Hey man great informative video! Can you give an estimation of how much upgrades are required or recommended to start things off(No of Flares,No of detonators, Resists,Max sulphite ect.)
Well i've been doing this strat for a while, here are the numbers i am comfortable with: -10 Flares with at least 100% radius and 15s duration -4 Dynamites/detonators -10 000 max sulphite - max 75% dark res -max 150% light radius

Idk how u get sulphite, didn't watch 100% of the vid so maybe I missed the most crucial part of this strat. You can force daily on white map though and maybe it gives enough sulphite considering the sulphite costs per node is super low.
This is incredibly useful. Thanks for sharing.
Is this the build you utilize for syndicate now too?
Yes
Hey man do you have a vid explaining every thing ya need to know about mining?
Am I just a dummy? I click the pastebin link to look over the character build but, I don't see anything that looks like a guide. Please help.
You have to import the link into the (very useful) "path of building" software which you can just Google and DL for free.
Lemme guess... This got nerfed into the ground in 3.6 didn't it?
Paolo Bugnone Backup yeap....
Quick question for bandit 6%move spd vs 2skill point and what are best pMajor/Minor god
didn't know about the wall and tile rule. Cool shit! Thanks.
Hello. Question, what do you do once you reach the end with cart, do you log out and rerun ? or do you complete the encounter?
you always complete lol, worst case it opens up map.
I see from your profile you've changed up a lot of gear. How does the new set up feel? Sorry for newb questions, just diving into farming, currency, etc of PoE.
gooseeggz My ‘current’ gear is for a different purpose than is described in this video
Good and simple guide! I'm interested in your loot filter. Where I can get it?
I customized from a very strict filter off the www.filterblade.xyz website.
@Daykun
Is this still viable for 3.6 or did they nerfed it completely? Thanks :)
No longer viable. Got nerfed.
@@Sjeg84 Damn :( tnx :)
what level would you get to before respecing to this build? Thanks

Edit : The Build Plays really well on a Budget (because of the boots)
Can you make a guide for a budget delve farming character. 1-2 exalt or less?
Play what you want. Look for max resist and use phase run. You don't need more
Can you pls advice how to lvl this build ? I brought one around lvl 50 but it cant kill. And most importantly i cant buy most of the items because they are very expensive for someone that wanted to make this build to make some currency :)
thats the problem. You need Currency to farm more currency.
Maybe I missed it, but how can I farm sulphite in synthesis league ?
use gilded sulphite scarabs, and check the atlas for daily niko missions,
@@bersercker At present , gilded sulphite scarabs=80c :(
its posible put pastebin for this build? i check link in description but not is same
Maybe this question isn't very relevant but in your opinion how much time takes to get at that level of gameplay/farming (or at least close to)?
I'm very new to the game (installed one month ago more or less) but I'm getting really hyped about guides/builds/videos I find and about the idea that even if they require tons of resources I will get them sooner or later, is just a matter of grinding... is this reasoning true or I am fooling myself? Do you think is possible to get quite a good amount of wealth even not being hardcore as in this video?
Thanks for any answer and sorry for my english :D
You don't need to play 16 hours a day, just play efficient :)
So while the time wont be the same obviously, is this doable for any build, im running VD poets pen ascendant and dont care about challenges, just looking for currency farm methods.
Pretty much any build should be able to do this! Obviously, faster movement speed is better and you generally want some kind of Phasing for this.
Is there any changes to the tree for the new league?
This game needs an auction house. Having to trade in person is way too much of a pain in the ass.
it's actually part of the fun imo
@@Adama.1 nope
I agree. The auction automates the trading just like stock brokerage companies. There is nothing unethical about it !

and you are a great person sharing this epic info
Hey, thanks for the guide, it's great. Have you tried any methods of doing something like this in Synthesis? I've been trying it today and it's still decent profit but definitely not as much as you make in this vid since it got nerfed. Would love to see a vid with new strategies.
brilliant...awesome information..Thanks again.
try build first and see. no dmg at all. i had to respec entire build to something else. no way u can do t16 maps with this. u have to ask friends to carry you.
Thanks for the vid daddy Daykun. Is there a way to target farm sanctified fossils or is it just random?
Are people still doing this in 3.6? I just hit maps on my pathfinder and want to know if I can do this around depth 60-70
+1
Others are saying you should go deeper now, which means more sulphite cost
Love the videos, glad to see a new pro build come out so soon. I have been copying your build from the last guide, attempting to invest in each item exactly. Yet I am finding that the damage feels lacking at times. Do you change anything from these guides when going about everyday mapping or other aspects of the game?
Also it feels super squishy sometimes, even with investing into items to up resistances
Thank you for clearing up that this is not achievable without large investment each time.
sir you put a lot of effort on the guide. thanks. sub
ive hit a wall at lvl 53
no damage no life i dont know how to keep going.
tried switching links and stuff but doesnt help at all:
i dont get paste bin why do i only see letters ?
Will give this a try, Thx for the video.
@@Daykun Thank you so much, thats what i thought after dying 30 times on Kitava, so ill just respec and lvl it up like a normal char.
i would love to do this if ggg had a delve stash tab
I only logged 80hrs in the game and im completely clueless and worried..what does a resonator and fossil do?
How do I price build like pay 70c get 10 resonated
Brilliant video, thanks alot for sharing this! I've got myself quite a few fossils now, and I'm wondering how do I list my items to sell in bulk?
Hi there,
I wish to farm delve in 3.9.
Can you help with some tips? And if this video still stands true or not .
Thanks
Low level depth is nerfed but the information revolving around delve in general is accurate.

hi thanks for your video, have you a tip for farm sulphite please ?
Nice guide. starting to level one now :D how do you get to level 95 with 2k Life? breach rota?
He probably leveled the character and then spent Orbs of Regret to change his passive tree and equipped different gear.
Patiently waiting for the Synthesis Daykun farming guides
Hey Daykun, one Q: What exactly got nerfed? The amount u can get in the Delve overall or the zones as itself having a diff. droprate?
PS: Thanks for making these awesome Videos!
Does iiq have an influence on the number of fossils and resonators dropped?
No, item quantity has no effect on things dropped from boxes, chests or anything clickable like that. Only the loot from mobs themselves
Is your bow already ideal or is there a thing you'd change?
My bow is pretty atrocious. The only meaningful mod is the 10% movement speed and the shaped item base. Ideally, you h ave 10% MS and the mod that adds cold damage for every 10 dexterity, in addition to other damage mods.
Hey man great informative video! Can you give an estimation of how much upgrades are required or recommended to start things off(No of Flares,No of detonators, Resists,Max sulphite ect.)
Well i've been doing this strat for a while, here are the numbers i am comfortable with:
-10 Flares with at least 100% radius and 15s duration
-4 Dynamites/detonators
-10 000 max sulphite
- max 75% dark res
-max 150% light radius
How low level farming with new changes in 3.6 ?
I'm too lazy to do anything serious at this time of the league so i'm planning in following this build for fossil farming but lvling this build looks hurt lol. I'm suck at lvling tbh but have tons of regret to spare so idk which skill i can use to get to blood aqueduct with deadeye.
i havent found any sulfite on any story map. i have no extra maps. i have no currency. i watched so many guides and it feels like to get going u already need a lot of shit but as a complete beginner i have absolutely nothing to farm it seems
