"Brush of the God: An Island with Monsters") is a 2024 tokusatsu kaiju film directed by Keizo Murase in his directorial debut and written by Takeshi Nakazawa from a story by Murase, with special effects by Daisuke Sato. Financed through the Brush of the God Production Committee and produced by Murase's company Twenty, the film was crowdfunded through Motion Gallery and Kickstarter beginning in September 2020. It made its world premiere at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Osaka, Japan on March 2, 2024. A wider Japanese theatrical release will follow on July 26, with plans to also release the film overseas sometime in the future.

やはり特撮はミニチュアを活かしたアナログ特撮につきますね!最近のスーパーヒーロー番組はウルトラマンにしろ、ライダーにしろ、スーパー戦隊にしろCGをフル稼働したデジタル特撮が当たり前になりましたから。怪獣造形のレジェンド職人である村瀬継蔵監督だからこそ手作りのアナログ特撮で行きたかったんだろうと思いますね。
これだけ素晴らしい特撮を見せられたら、行かない訳が無いですなよ😇👍

年々、CG技術が向上して本物との見分けもつかなくなってきた。
でも俺は実物の特技撮影をしてチョロっと模型のチープさを残した状態で「おぉ、実際のビルや車両や人間じゃない実在の代替物なのに、ここまで迫力ある映像になっている」っていう努力や工夫を楽しみたい。
実写でしか出せない空気感ってあるよな
CGのビル破壊シーンには、カタルシスを感じない。
この造り混んだミニチュアを破壊してこそ、「特撮」ですよね！

고지라 킹기도라 일본식 스톱 모션 기법 역시 일본식 SF 액션
ノスタルジーでほめる人たちばかりだが物理計算が完璧な出来のCGと比べてだいぶ不自然なんだよ
ビルの壊れ方で大きいものが壊れる映像がたくさんあるのに表現できないしそれで生じる某風と大量の埃とかが表現できないし攻撃が現実的な攻撃でなく火花でごまかしてるとかね
高評価するとか退化してる
特撮は夢があるのは事実だし時にはミニチュアも有用だけど
コンピューターなぞ分からんというガチガチの文系だけでけん引してきた日本の映画界
他国でのシェアは伸びないだろうな
ガラパゴス的に国内だけで楽しむのはいいかもね
一瞬で作り物だと分かるが妙に魅力がある。CGでは再現出来ない何かがあるね
