My dad, 94, completed airborne school in Japan with the 11th in 1948. The 11th was part of the Army of Occupation in Japan after WWII. Two years later he made both combat jumps in Korea with the 187th RCT, 11th Airborne. As such, he has two combat jump devices on his wings.
Was there a military purpose for an all-female jump? Why isn't every 18-year-old girl in America required to register for the draft? Lastly, was there an all-male jump the next day?
Much respect to these lady paratroopers. I was never stationed in the artic and I thank God for that. I have 50 jumps from various aircrafts, from C-130, C-141, CH-47 Chinook, Huey, Blackhawk, Twitter, Ballon jumps in Belgium, some other aircrafts I can't remember. I've had 3 back surgeries and now I have a spinal cord stimulator that helps blocking the pain. I miss jumping every day. AATW!!!!! Sick, lame or crazy I'm still Airborne crazy. I graduated from Airborne school in March 29, 1985.
Where is the jump video??? The real unknown is how would these Women stack up against their June 6, 1944 brothers in "real" combat. I think some would do well, but not most. As an old Vet, I really don't think they can have the raw aggression of a man in combat.
As Dirty Harry said in 1976's "The Enforcer," when he was being forced to take on a first ever female homicide detective partner, "Sounds very stylish." Hmm...wonder if there's a preggo harness available?
Of course, all the men are distracted by adult content and videogames. Weak men create a need for strong women. If we want more men in the army, we have to make adult content illegal again.
@@dandj8699 Well I served 17 years in the United States Army, I have completed Airborne School and Air Assault School. I have two combat tours in Iraq and it saddens me to see the state of our Military. The standards have been lowered.

But, hey, they be doing some ceiling breakin' 'round here. Always like the sound of giggling on the way to the drop zone. Our enemies are watching.
Alasaka? 😆

How much does all that crap weigh? My back is hurting just watching.
between 90-150 lbs (parachutes, rucksack, weapons & mission gear), depending on mission requirements, sir.
@@USMILITARYONE And then hit the ground with all that weight. That's why Airborne ain't for ever-body. Take it easy. Great video by the way.
HOOAH
Very woke...
All veterans can see that all five branches of our military have lowered the standards. It's sad

Objectively false.
Serve with them and see how good our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines are. Women represent all of the USA and have made the military stronger!

Not from what I've seen I've seen less from veterans and I have active
