Even you are old, you cant make the move, but you still have the enthusiasm and your will dat always keep you moving with the last breath. Just love how KG play the game.
Boston Celtic fan here. Larry Bird is my all-time favorite Celtic....KG is NUMBER 2 and if he was here longer, I would have them side by side. Loved watching this tribute. KG is awesome
I just want him to show the young guys a true winning attitude and to get the crowds at the games that we used to have. Make it to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade (not this year, but soon hopefully).
Darth Gator, you do realize he never wanted to leave Minnesota right? He's very loyal to the Timberwolves and is likely going to own them someday, he said he's always wanted to bring a championship to the twin cities and be apart of it.
He did a fantastic job for Minnesota for 13 years, he got his very first ring on the 2008 NBA Finals, he then got traded to the Nets, and I'm glad he's coming back home until his retirement.
Watching this 2 years later and its crazy to see how much things have changed. From getting Towns, Trading Lavine and Ricky, Getting Jimmy, and the new Target Center renovations is crazy to think its only been two years.
I am just thankful Glen Taylor finally corrected his giant mistake. He rehired Flip and Flip brought Ticket home. KG retired a Timberwolf. I will always love this man.
he had the potential to have been better than Tim Duncan. he was far more athletic and a better player. but he wasn't as aggressive scoring as he could have been. he relied to much on jumpshots when he could dominant more in the paint.
Darkmorningsun Kevin Garnett is a better player because he was in a terribly wrong organization not to just the Timberwolves if Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett switch roles we would be looking at different story
The difference? LeBron actually went home. He was born and raised in northeast Ohio. He also went home in his prime, which triggered other quality players to join him, giving Cleveland a very real shot at multiple championships. LeBron's homecoming also triggered the Andrew Wiggins - Kevin Love trade that gave Minnesota a new future franchise player. Garnett has no loyalties to Minnesota, it's just the only thing that he could think to do that would help repair his tarnished legacy before he eventually retires.
I'm a big celtics fan and I miss him on Boston but it's awesome he's retuning home to have 21 retired!
4 years later .... 21 still not retired
im a huge celtics fan but for kg, minnesota is his true home
Thanks for the respect
Good to have you home Kev this brought tears to my eyes.
When i got NBA2K11, the first thing i did was start a franchise with the T'Wolves, the second thing i did was bring KG back home to the Wolves.

He did a fantastic job for Minnesota for 13 years, he got his very first ring on the 2008 NBA Finals, he then got traded to the Nets, and I'm glad he's coming back home until his retirement.

This is so awesome. I am so emotional right now.
I am just thankful Glen Taylor finally corrected his giant mistake. He rehired Flip and Flip brought Ticket home. KG retired a Timberwolf. I will always love this man.

Welcome back kid.

dang those Sac town playoff clips seemed like yesterday. Such a great series.
Garnett is a Hall of Famer, no doubt. He has a championship. Been in the league 20 years. He wants to be the Timberwolves advisor when he retires.
bruh who the fuck cuttin onions up in here
KG was mostly washed up by this point, but still one of the greatest power fowards ever, made a ton of good memories of KG! KG is the man!

Umm...this isn't the same as LeBron going home. He's not from Minny, and he's way past his prime. But glad he went back.
reacquired*
better than Jordan
And Glen Taylor continued to shit all over his own team.

And then that "new future franchise player" bailed for Cleveland.
