She is sweet , but gets attached to one person ( if that the only person in the house) . Like a kid giving you attitude, she knows when she wrong . I worked with her for a few years and got her down to 30 min of loud time in a total day . This video is spot on... However one thing, do not cuddle them ( this always leads to bad relationship, and bitting to others) . They love there sleep like a child ( and hate there sleep cut short). Can learn whole sentences . Cute . Smart , learns tricks , loves banana ... Awesome pet in baby years, has its terrible teens 3 years in
As a previous cockatoo owner, I agree with EVERYTHING you said! It was like transporting back in time and living with my bird again. Well done. I hope people really pay attention to what you said … it’s really soooo important to find the RIGHT bird. 😁
You should definitely review the Hahns (mini) Macaw! They are incredibly underrated buy also hard to get because they don't usually breed well in captivity. But my mom has 2 and they have had MANY babies. She's sitting on the second clutch of the year! My mom spoils them so much that they feel comfortable enough to keep having babies. They are basically all the fun of a macaw at the size of a conure. Can be super cuddly, even better talkers, so much fun. The father is even such a big talker that one of their babies learned to laugh with him at only a month old. They both talk to each other in "bird" and English, lol. Say "I love you" and give kisses to each other constantly, it's so cute.
Oh my goodness, you are a fun and funny person that explains birds so well!😂Ty:-) love to see and hear birds but that’s a huge responsibility for me. I’m in apartments😂 I’m laughing and learning 😂ty! Blessings
I recommend whoever wants to purchase a bird to see THIS GUY. He's super honest and sincere. My husband and I were happy to bump into him. Omar should hire this guy to be manager because he's so good of what he does. 🤗🙏
@@FivesaflockSpeaking of birds, we are getting a Triton cockatoo soon! He was just announced to us as a male. We also have an apricot female caique and a female scarlet macaw.
I have 22 parrots of different species and size . I cannot interact too long with my other parrots before Icky ( Icarus) gets jealous and starts whining and whimpering like a puppy. Everytime I make a big fuss over my cocky, my Congo African Grey wants my attention by saying " I love you Howard". Its like clockwork. As soon as he hears me paying attention to Icky, he always says he loved me. I have thee best of 2 parrot worlds. 2 extremely intelligent parrots.
I have had birds for 25 years. I had one cockatiel for 20 years, then another for 3 (died of a random seizure) 3 budgies (years so far) and an Indian ring neck (1 year so far but she is 4 years old). Birds absolutely know how you feel about certain things and they do troll you and test your patience purely for their own entertainment. They can outsmart you. I never have had an aggressive bird. All of mine have been friendly but a bored bird is a destructive bird and a loud bird. If you can't handle a cockateil you have no chance at a cockatoo. Indian ringnecks are 5x more of a handful then a cockatiel and if you can't handle a ring neck you have no chance at a cockatoo. Birds a fraction of the intelligence of a cockatoo can still know exactly how to troll you. You think training will be easy, the moment you teach them you don't want something they now know exactly how to mess with you. They might mess with you just to get more treats. Its easy for a bird to take whatever lesson you teach them however they want. It's like a freind who just reads meaning and misinterpretation in your words for their own entertainment. This isn't them being malicious they just need the stimulation. It is nolever a good idea to try to punish the behavior. They are just being Birds. It is like having toddlers. You will never have complete control and they are not obedient animals as a default. You can train them but it's nothing like most dogs. If there is an analogous dog, it might be a border collie. They have their own instinct and choose when they listen. If you dispositionally need control never get a bird. If you need order never get a bird.
Hey man, I love your videos. Recently I watched your video, "Do Birds Give You Allergies?", and I wonder if you could make a top 5 video on the best new world parrots / least dusty parrots / best parrots for allergies.
Love your videos I just got a scarlet macaw, he is supper sweet I really hope he bonds to me I worry cause I hear people say male birds usually bond to females instead of male humans , I really hope he grows to love me 🙂 he is only 7 months old
Everything that he said about the Triton is spot on, although I was told they can live for up to 100 years. You need to know what you are getting into before committing. We have had one as part of our family for 30 years. Frankly, as we get older and Sam gets louder, we need to find him a new home. We have not done this because I know people get tired of them, and I do not want him to go from home to home for the rest of his life. He just deserves better than what we can offer. If anyone knows of a great place to allow him to live out his years please let me know. I want a great life for him, no other family member wants him, they love the shows he puts on until the screaming begins.
We were at Omar’s last weekend visiting my bird and there was a large white bird with red nostrils. It was the sweetest. friendlies bird. I was wandering what kind of bird he or she is? It was so busy I did not ask them and I thought you may know what bird I am talking about. I love your videos.
I don't know about the talking part. I have a Triton Cockatoo. If you want a talking parrot, you really want an African Grey, or maybe an Amazon. I also have a Grey. I would rate a Triton as "ok" or "decent".
Love the videos…..Just a constructive criticism…It takes 3-5 minutes into each video to get to the meat of the video. When binge watching or watching 2-3 videos it gets to be……keep up the great work
@@Fivesaflock haha I was trying to convince my husband our lesser sulphur needed a sibling. He’s a sweet bird! Love your informative videos. Thanks for sharing that with us!
When you going to review the 28 parrot? I wish Omar’s bird store was in australia because there’s nothing like it in australia all the birds here even hand tamed ones just don’t let you touch them 😞
Triton Cockatoo Owners, what has been your experience with these parrots?
He bit and ripped apart my chair and couch and pretty much everything and he throws food for fun
I have a Triton and she is very sweet ( when she wants to to be) and yes LOUD!!!!!!!!
I own a criton cockatoo we are rivals
Super sweet, a LOT OF BIRD for sure (we have 3 parrots, a caique, scarlet and obviously a triton) and our triton loves hugs

Review the Cape parrot!! They are so overlooked from what I've seen
I think a lot about Yellow collared macaw but I didn't find much information about them, would you make a video about them?

Unfortunately I've been out of town the last month so I'm not too sure. But if it's a decent sized bird, sounds like it might be a Corella cockatoo?

I think the Sulpur Crested Cockatoo is the more laid back of all the larger Cockatoo's.
4:15 oof.... clipped!!!
Can you do a cockatoo tier list? ❤
Nice video. I would love to see a review of a Major Mitchell Cockatoo

What about the white cockatoo? Are they having a same personality with tritton or not
Cockatoos in general have a very cockatoo-like personality. A lot of things are broadly similar.
Awesome videooo, can you pls make a video for senegal parrots?? 🦜❤️
I am considering getting a senegal parrot so could you please review it?
Very similar to the Meyer's but can sometimes be a touch more territorial. Otherwise I think they're great beginner parrots.
Can you do the b&g macaw?
Hi can you do black capped conure and senegal parrot and ruppell's parrot
Do you do it like Clint where a 0 is a possible one? Because I feel like the cockatoos I've met have all been 0s on quietness.
Nah I keep it at 1 being the lowest. That's just how my mind works
Can you do white fronted amazon parrot
Triton? Im the real triton
do you have an instagram profile?
Triton are very smart but NO beginner birds
Can you rate pigeons? :0
