Wow! this is a pretty nice critical care bed, but my concern is why is there no air mattress on the bed? A critical care bed needs an air mattress for pressure relief. A patient who is critically ill, intubated, sedated and possibly pharmacologically paralyzed must have pressure relief. These beds look as if the Lateral Rotation Therapy is conducted using the bed frame rather than an air mattress grade rotation therapy. It looks to me like this bed is a good bed, with a great graphical Caregiver interface, however there are a few things that are concerning to me.

Being in the ICU 9 days, this bed was the worst ever. Felt like a steel bar in my back the entire time. No position was comfortable.
