The Dynamax Weavile strat was delightfully devilish. They took the classic Beat Up boost and turned it on its head.
I thought the gastrodon twist was that it had focus band, but that it countered was hilarious. Great video!

The Sheer Cold one was robbery. I'd be far more salty about that one than the Prankster Rain Dance and Screech combo.
Yeah getting Vanilla Iced is a pretty awful way to lose a match
Max speed Amoonguss + Zapdos. Zapdos max airstreamed and Amoonguss protected turn 1. After a second max airstream on turn 2, Amoonguss was now 180 speed and was able to basically get off free Spores and put my entire team to sleep. Insane. I had played around with a Scarf max speed Amoonguss strat but this was next level.
yeah amoonguss in general is just annoying to deal with as you have to guess the item and whether it protects or spores

You didn't get robbed, you just lost to a Bo1 gimmick. It sucks, but it's not like you got freeze locked or repeatedly crit. These madlads had a game plan and they executed well. Luckily, these gimmicks only work in Bo1, so when it really matters (like post-pandemic regionals) they'll have all disappeared

If the Urshifu is banded though, it always KOs, but since I feel like most Urshifu-R's are Sash, it's sadly a roll even on no defensive investment Coalossal.
I actually ran these numbers myself when I was scripting the video and was disappointed to see it wasn't guaranteed. I was thinking alternatively to use prankster swagger on urshi and screech to make it a guarantee like the random clip I saw that inspired this months ago but I just didn't want to have to retry multiple battles to get the footage of swagger+screech hitting and urshi hitting through confusion. Since this is a comedic video though I figured the point got across with just this. Great observation!
