Congrats on on year!! A year of anything shows sm dedication fr! This vid was also really helpful for my own decision making , there are so many things I want to do too but I keep putting them off bcs I’m fearfully attached to my routine, but seeing people do what they set out to do is inspiring! Thanks for sharing Valentina
🎉Congrats. There was nothing narcissistic about this, sounds you are really growing as a person. I find every book you complete changes you. The emotions feel very real and in the most engrossing books it becomes difficult to know where a character ends and you begin.
so happy you talked about ur post graduation experience because im in the exact state of despair right now too…hoping for enlightenment in a couple of months🙏🏻 also, happy 1 year to one of my faves in yt 🤍🤍🤍
I believe so strongly that your heart will guide u even when you think you’re completely lost 🫶🫶 so happy this could resonate and I appreciate u so much :))
I appreciate your talk on social media- I'm in a similar boat where i deleted instagram four years ago (not entirely by 'choice'), dont use tiktok but am lowkey addicted to shorts!! And damn reddit always reading people's stories 😫 so much lost reading time
Im in a very similar place to you right now and watching this video gave me this beautiful feeling that everything is gonna be alright. So thank you! And happy bookpogo anniversary!!!🎉
Thanks for answering my question and thank you for sharing your journey, your authenticity and curiosity is truly inspiring 🫶🫶 Happy one year book pogo 🎉🎉
I love your story! This is exactly what you’re supposed to do when you’re young. Take risks, try new things. You’ll have plenty of time to live the safe, old lady life later 🙂 Also don’t be afraid to learn more about computers. You don’t need to know complex math for majority of it
My bf is from Bucaramanga and i spent a few months there- It's such an incredible city! Loved the video, gave me something to listen to on the way to uni hahahah
Very nice. I think you could specify what we can ask when you want questions, because I literally didn't know what to ask you. I didn't want to cross any lines or whatever. Maybe all the other subscribers felt that way. Anyway, there's a book called Unless by Carol Shields where the daughter of the main character drops out everything in her life and becomes homeless. It's from the perspective of the mother and her interior monologue. It's obviously not what happened to you, but there could be something there. I deleted social media years ago, except for this one, because everytime I would scroll around I felt like a bag of garbage. And now I feel like a bag. It's nothing but uphill from there.
Lolll this is valid. I’m a very open book so if there’s anything you want to know I will likely answer it, you can even comment if something comes to mind and I’ll answer 🤓 but I really appreciate the mindfulness because some people can really cross the line hahaha. That sounds like a great story I’m definitely going to check it out. I’m sure there’s something special in there whether it’s entirely relatable or not. Cheers to being a bag! I hope my life gets so busy I can go back to being just a bag instead of bag of garbage with the short form content addiction lmaooo
Congratulations! So which Dostoyevsky are you working on now? I view Ellis as one of the few remaining interesting American writers because he is a nihilist. But your very alternate view of him as a positive influence encouraging relaxed thinking is inspired in its own way!
happy bookpogo day! I missed the community post so I'll ask it here. I've noticed you sometimes reply in russian. Did you teach yourself russian? if so any tips on learning a language?(I've been trying to get back into french and find duolingo really boring)
I would NOT say I actually know Russian … however, I did learn how to read the Cyrillic script and know a few words and phrases. Learning how to read it was actually thanks to Duolingo bc they have a section for learning characters that helped me in I swear three days. Then the rest, I used to be disciplined and I found a website with modules teaching grammar and vocabulary but I just don’t find the time for it anymore 😫 listening to the Russian with max podcast was helpful bc its slowed, and I also found a pen pal in Russia who I send audios back and forth with to practice pronunciation! And thank you!!!😊
@@theelitelifeee definitely the stuff I do here like going to a climbing gym and playing recreational tennis. I also plan on joining some student associations and I’ll be frequenting museums, bookstores, etc. Thankfully I have a handful of friends waiting for me there as well!

I appreciate it!! And definitely 🤓🤓
The names in Catch-22 can mean something. Minderbinder == He messes with your mind. Orr == "or", as in, the alternative.

Are you excited to see Sunflower by Van Gogh IRL in AMS?
Yes!!! But I thankfully I did go to the VG museum in November 😎

what a cutie heheh 🥳
I hated catch 22. the book had too much dialogue compared to its plot. the plot was almost nonexistent it was just dialogue
ur really pretty and skinny. u should read infinite jest
