Paint with me: Hanami ✿ Chill mixed media illustration process ✿ Painting cherry blossoms

Let’s paint! Please join me in my multiple attempts at painting a scene inspired by a Sunday at the botanical garden enjoying the beautiful view of the cherry blossoms. This illustration required a process of trial and error (as it usually happens) and I'll show you the painting process of all of the attempts, the ones I didn’t like and the final one which I liked enough to turn it into a print!

Among the materials I used to paint:
Talens gouache, soft pastels (Sennelier, Schmincke, Jackson's, Cass Art), coloured pencils (Polychromos, Luminance, Supracolor II), Caran D’Ache Neocolor II.
