I moved to South Florida and it’s obv a lot different than where I lived in PA so it’s gonna take some getting used to. However I can’t even get a bite this time of the year. How do you typically do in the middle of the summer like it is now, late July? I’ve tried so many different baits and it’s just not happening. Is that typical when it’s smack down in the middle of July and it’s just too hot?
PS: don’t throw the snakehead back in. Florida recommends you kill them because they’re so invasive and spread like wild fire while eating everything. Kill them next time

Friend, very good video. I think the best lure for very BIG peacock bass in Florida is the 4.0 inch. Grim ripper from High Roller Company. This propbait lure must be recovered with strong jerks making pauses. Big noise and big splash is much better. BIG peacock can not resist it.
The best color lure for me are firetiger, clown and redhead. Excuse my bad english. Grettings from Costa Rica.
