it’s no secret that taylor swift can write a DANG good bridge. with each new album that she comes out with i am more and more amazed. so today i thought it would be fun to try and rank my top 13 favorite bridges across all of her albums. i’ve been wanting to make more tswift content so drop your ideas in the comments:)
it was SO hard to just choose 13 songs because you know i love literally every song and there are some great bridges that didn’t make the cut, so just know that these are just my opinions and you are more than welcome to disagree or drop your own opinion in the comments! but please do so kindly haha. we are all swifties here :)

I AGREE so much with Dear john and Champagne problems. In champagne problems when it says “1 for the money 2 for the show, I never was ready so I watched you go” it is so powerful. And in Dear john when it says, “Im shining like fireworks over your sad empty town”, I think its kinda like her getting revenge.

Some of my favourite bridges are Out of the Woods, Cardigan, Illicit Affairs, The Last Great American dynasty, My Tears Ricochet, and basically all of the ones you mentioned. Especially Cruel Summer, All Too Well and Champagne Problems.

I mean I think Tay has A LOT of very good bridges and of course we can't put them all in here like this love, afterglow, cardigan, treacherous, tolerate it, dress, GETAWAY CAR... But I really expected you to put out of the woods here because is like super iconic and literally a masterpiece of bridge. The screaming in the car is out of charts and I don't think I ever screamed a song that loud. That's what it has surprised me. But for the rest, I totally agree, like those are very good choices.
