This guy was straight in there with the name drop, no small talk 😂. The 599 is a sick car. I don't know why they don't get more love. It's like the forgotten Ferrari. At one point these were going for £65k-£70k.

@@alimuzhussain8394 yeah a few years ago they were (relatively) cheap as chips. Seems crazy nowadays. I remember back around 2008 you could pick up a good Ferrari 360 for 30k and e46 m3's for 6k

I’ve driven one of these - the sense of speed is odd with the shape and size. It gives you the illusion it doesn’t handle then you hit a slight kink at an ungodly speed and it’s all calm. Im pretty sure they have to muffle these at race days as they break the noise level allowed
Was never that keen on these when they came but the look the business now. Less fussy than some more recent supercars although I do love the 812 aswell.

17k miles and a new engine what happened? debris in a shell and a piston failed? two different parts of a engine both sound strange to me pistons dont fail because of a shell problem. oil filters are there to clean debris out

The engine might have a few thousand miles on it. Let’s be honest modern engines don’t need run in. Manufacturing tolerances as near as damn it perfect. I know a lad who sends his cars straight from the dealer to be mapped and drives them hard from the get go. He’s never had an engine failure yet.
