I’m starting to think wave distortion is the thing I’d like to explore more. Off topic... if you want to enjoy spring reverb more... try experimenting with placing bits of cotton or foam at different points along your springs. I did this in the 80s to create other reverb sounds, as I had very few bits of kit to use in my recording process. I produced some very useable reverb sounds for vocals and guitar, that aren’t otherwise available from a spring reverb left untouched. Cheers
Just some courteous feedback. Giving us a taste of what's possible with the module in the beginning is always appreciated. It's master-level as far as getting me to watch the full sponspored video. Thanks.
Some really great timbres, but there's a lot of history of pedal manufacturers porting designs into eurorack without any CV and facing unfortunate market results. I hope it succeeds but I think they would see a lot of benefit in considering a CV redesign.
Another great DivKidVid. Every time I watch your videos it costs me money, lol. The Manther looks like an MC-202 on steroids. Thanks again Ben. Stay safe.
Aww! It sounds so good. Bit of a shame, that there is no cv over all or most of the parameters. I reckon it would be glorious. Maybe do an XL-CV-Verson :). Still quite impressive drive.
Wasn't impressed by the panel but I took a listen and WOW that sound - I hope they're able to do a CV expander of some kind - I think 6 jacks in 2hp to control the knobs would make this a real killer.
Love this video man! Such a well rounded review, really inspiring 🙌 it sounds quite impressive and that guitar sound really cought my attention coming from a Strat and 5w tube amp. Bit frustrating tho, that it doesn't have CV control over those knobs.. I'd love to replace my TS808 with a proper, CV controllable, overdrive distortion module.

Now, that is a versatile module! Well done DPW Design, and well presented as always, Ben!

3:49. OMG what a beat xD
Thanks, appreciate it.
That's awesome. I've often wondered why multiband distortion wasn't more of a thing outside of the daw
Really like this distortion really interesting with the spring tank
That Manther patch was killer!

Excellent.
Those congas!
Sounds great but... No input CV on a module ? I don't get the point...
right? just make a pedal if you're gunna do that
Nice Guitar skills Ben.
Lovely video, though my gaze can't help but keep shifting to that Coma Reactor... ;)
Why not add CV to the parameters? Is it difficult to do in a distortion unit?
This
Waiting for that crusty old sample pack 😉🦹♀️
No where to purchase in the U.S. Hmmm...that's not fair!
