    How's your relationship with self image?

    • @rickardolofsson6937
      @rickardolofsson6937 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      It’s not that great. I mean some days I feel ontop of the world and some days are low days when I think I have to act a certain way to still appear how I look on good days. Though I know self image can be worked upon. Telling yourself over and over that you are worth speaking to other people when there’s a voice telling you to not bother anyone because you think you are not enough. Bro I sound cheesy as hell. But that’s ok, thanks for med ted talk🫶

    As someone who suffers severely from body dismorohia, this is a video which seems like a step in the right direction. Self image is definitely a horrible dictatorship on your life, regardless of how severe, it can make someone's time, focus and passions slip away in the pursuit of self fulfillment (a neverending vicious cycle). I really appreciate the video, keep up the good work 🙌.

      Thanks for the great message. I agree, the self image can be relentless. It's an ongoing, never ending process to understand what role it plays in your reality.

      lets analyse the lies which are world wide believed:
      lie: schools are of use (fact. schools keep slavery alive and stands for dumbing down the population of mankind)
      lie: moon and mars landings, (fact: even masons know they cannot leave - earth is closed system, unless you want to drown, there is no other place created for us to live in.)
      lie: news channels share truth (fact: these are for politic propaganda)
      lie: voting matters (fact: politic propaganda)
      lie: money has a value of its own (fact: it is just a tool of this world, which value has been agreed upon world wide)
      lie: NASA lies (globe and all....) (fact: NASA stands for TO DECEIVE and 2 members expose their own lies, one is still alive, the other (Wernher Von Braun) place a clear clue on his own gravestone) - you havn´t searched - have you?
      lie: the lgbtq++++ propaganda (fact: it is a part of masonry depopulation agenda, 500 000 000 souls, thats their goal.)
      lie: Evolution and the dinosaurs. (fact: mankind is not hybrid kind)
      to keep stating that there was an evolution, then we ain´t humans, we aint then mankind, we are then hybrids. Are you a hybrid?
      Lie: holidays (xmas, Halloween, new year eve and so on) (fact: PAGAN HOLIDAYS, to praise BAAL, the god of this world)
      lie: U.F.Os (fact: they are demons/evil spirits in high places, against whom we fight daily = spiritual warfare)
      lie: rules and laws rule the world (fact: signs and symbols of masonry do)
      lie: believe in being educated (fact: found daily living with the lack of knowledge)
      lie: religions are ways to heaven (fact: JESUS CHRIST is only way to heaven. Religions, no matter its name = masonic garbage)
      lie: our dead loved ones stay around to “ghost” (fact: hunting and ghosting is job of demons, not of humans. We, humans, come from GOD and return back to HIM and all the stories of having been seen a ghost - terrifying, scary, dark, cold - again no job of analysing been done here by you- right?)
      Lie: Humans have no immune system and we need vaccines as these save lives (fact: humans HAVE IMMUNE SYSTEM and vaccines are created for one or two purpose: to kill or to cripple)
      lie: there is no GOD (fact: There is GOD, who redeems sinners and created us directly from the dust of the earth: Psalms 139:14
      I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.)
      to keep claiming that there is no GOD and we aint created directly from the dust of the earth, we soon run out logic, regardless to we place “evolution” in our claims or not.)
      lie: 911 was terror attack (fact: 911 was an inside job, meaning the work of your loved government)
      lie: Tv watching is of use (fact: television (TV) = tell a lie vision, a weapon for our minds, keeping it under MK ULTRA)
      half lie/half truth: earth is a stage where everyone plays rolls (fact: earth is stage, freemasonry checkerboard, where both side, black and white are masons and humans both in politics and regular souls = the naive public gets daily played)
      lie: children are government to raise (fact: children are parents to raise, it takes 2 to make them, it takes 2 to raise them).
      19 lies, should i go on?
      This world ain´t deceived, out there to deceive?

    I recently read something along these lines: "don't try to convince/change people, they're simply a mirror of your inner world".
    I think it relates to your video in that whatever self image you create, it is due to what you perceive through this mirror. You're really just seeing the real you through them. When you're concerned about looking good going out, due to insecurities about how people will accept you, you're trying to change what you think they'll think of you. But, all it is is your stuff being mirrored back to you and instead of paying attention to what the image is telling you, you try to cover it up with a fabrication. It's not about them (to whom you need to put up a certain image), but about you looking at yourself through this mirror to discovered and resolve your stuff, and once you so, all this will fall away, like it never existed.

  • @yonsubae
    @yonsubae 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +36

    honestly this was beautiful and so timely, self image is all about who you *think* you are when you *Know* who you are you literally don't care what anyone outside of you says bc they don't know you but you are in peace bc you got u.

    Been on a bit of a trip the last hour; this video was perfectly timed, as it relates to what I was thinking. However, I think the concept of ''rejecting the self-image'' is to repress an essence of the self, therefore creating tension and not liberation. I agree with many of your points but from different perspectives. I think the answer should be to accept the self-image as part of the self. In whatever state or form, accept it as part of the self. By doing so, you let go of attachment. Acceptance is different from identification (which is when you get involved in trying to stop, manipulate, or change the way you think). You can accept you have bad thoughts - they come, they go (it's the nature of thoughts) - but that doesn't mean you have to identify with the bad thoughts. Same with self-image. Accept you'll have thoughts/feelings about yourself. Once you accept them, you'll focus less and less on them, allowing yourself to be liberated from them.

    I love this message, and it's definitely something I need right now because every time i'm in a period of high stress, i think too heavily about self and questioning who i am. although I know there is no "i" and there is no "self" I still struggle despite knowing this. everything in your video is much easier said than done, especially stopping how people think of you and comparison. i care too much, and I know this, and i am taking steps to stop or slow down, but it is such a long process with many hiccups along the way. i wish i could stop caring so much.

    The message this video offers is great but I don’t think it provides the right solutions. If not caring about your self image was as easy as telling yourself not to care then no one would care about there self image. To me it seems more like an attempt at treating a symptom rather than the cause of the symptom. I think being introspective and going within yourself to find out why you care about your self image is a much more effective way of letting go of your self image. You’re just as much of a prisoner of your mind and a victim of the ego as someone who cares deeply about there self image, if you spend all your time actively acting against what your ego and self image want. I believe true understanding and dissolution of the self comes from being actively introspective and curious about the beliefs and values you have. Meditation is another key part in discovering the real you. A life of meditation and introspection will allow you to let go of your ego and self image and the thoughts and values they’ve created for you. Fighting against the ego and self image only feeding them, acceptance and understanding extinguish them.
