I did like 8 cayo pericos since next gen got released and got tequila 7 times, and pink diamond once. Thinking that this high value target chance decrease started before the dlc
It was like that for me when Cayo first came out, but the last few times I played it (before the patch) I constantly got either the necklace or pink diamond. It's just the nature of RNG I guess.
I got bearer bonds, cocaine and two cash piles and ended up getting exactly 1.4 million. Did it on normal and not hard and didn’t get elite challenge. This was just after the update. They deffo increased payouts

I was really worried when I first heard that there would be massive changes to the Cayo Perico payouts. But I think this will actually be good for the game overall, incentivizing either occasional solo runs, or grinding with friends, both of which are fun.
Truly the best update ever, lots of big numbers on the screen. Its important rockstar know we want big numbers on the screen in gta6. Hopefully they got the message its the most important thing, fuck new original content.
@@notreal1477 Honestly, the problems with GTA Online were less to do with "not enough stuff to do," and more with the foundational aspects like the payment structure and incentives. That's why this feels like a great change to me. For a long time, many people would simply grind Cayo and nothing else in GTA. And it made sense; it was the most profitable thing to do by far. But it made everything else in the game feel like you were wasting your time. I would be managing my MC buisness and Nightclub, or doing races with friends, and I would think "Why am I not doing Cayo right now? This isn't earning me any money." Now players are rewarded for diversifying the way they play. That will definitely improve the players' experiences overall.
@@notreal1477 if that new and original content is another LS car meet business, I don't want it. You can add so much to a broken game before it falls apart. Quality of life updates are welcome from time to time, and in the case of GTA Online this is once in a blue moon. The cayo cooldown however is pretty lazy, maybe if they increased payouts based on approach so you had to play different approaches each time to make it less boring and less easy at the same time and have just a 48 minute cooldown for it, 144 is pretty overkill.
What to do during a cool down or if you want some money 1) 5 large cargo warehouses, get them all full, sell them all when an event week has them 2x, on top of the first time 2x. 2) New contact missions: Fun and give lots of rp and money 3) Buy the mc businesses and get every business full, then wait for 2x. 4) simply prep for another heist 5) Bunker resupply/research then wait for 2x ( maybe do the ammunition delivery mission ) 6) Call Yohan from your nightclub, and do some resupply or popularity missions 7) Get some friends on and enjoy the game
I've already grinded the crap out of special cargo so I'm pretty bored with that... And I find the new contact missions boring. But there's plenty to do. Nightclub, bunker, auto shop, bike shop, agency, payphone hits. I like doing business battles (minus the Cluckin Bell one).

The most frustrating thing for me in Online is that it has very little options that are fun for Soloplayers. I enjoyed Cayo, I did do it for the money also ofc but I wouldn't care having less payout but being able to play it more frequently since it is the only solo heist you can do . Now I dont really feel like playing since I dont have too much to do that I think is fun to fill the gap in between the heists. Yes, I have friends but I can't always play with them and I equally enjoy playing solo. and yes I do have all other businesses but I dont think most of the missions are fun enough. A heist has a buildup with the preparation missions and a highlight with the heist itself + there is more story behind it. Businesses are just simple missions.. I like the idea of the update but oh well.
i think you might’ve not been playing cayo for very long, it’s so fun at first, but after about 20 times it becomes incredibly draining, therefore imo this change is amazing, reducing how often you can do cayo opens you up to so many more possibilities with all the other businesses, making the game very refreshing and a lot more fun to play

@@loaf5025 I came back to GTA after about 3/4 years when the E&E released. Since then, I have played Cayo over 300 times from when the E&E came out (15th March 2022). I don't find it boring to this day because it's the same as any mission on GTA, it gets tedious. But the ability to mix up the mission keeps it fresh along with it being the best way to gain access to content locked behind GTA$
I hope they'd just add an option to start the heist in hard mode rather than it being timed. It's harder to time it now for busy people. Not everyone can wait for 2 hours just to start a heist.
@@knight_flyer1199 you have to call Pavel in less than 48 min after the cooldown. For example if you finish the heist at 10 PM and you resume to play next day at 6 PM, you missed that 48 min window and you are forced to play on normal for the next run. If you want to keep hard mode you have to call Pavel Back between 1:12 and 1:59 AM (when you've finished the heist at 10 PM)
@@knight_flyer1199 he is saying that for you cuz you don't understand how the hard mode works, you can't just choose hard mode you have to time it, so if you want the hard mode you need to sit down and wait onde hour (at least) and then you will recieve a call from Pavel who will allow you to get the hard mode, what they should have done in this situation was allow the player to get the hard mode in the same way as before DLC but only be able to start the missions in the new cooldown time
@@knight_flyer1199 I think the main point is other activities let you choose between normal and hard mode. With the set up now it's just a major inconvenience to people that can't sit around and wait 3 to 4 in game days. Why would anyone choose anything other than hard mode...who knows and not really the issue.
so if i wait 3 days for the higher demand loot will i still get to play it with hard mode or it goes to normal mode since i went past 48 mins to 72hours to get better loot?
they seem to also have made a change to some of the guards inside the compound, the guard to the south side of el rubio’s building near the camera stays permanently looking at the stairs leading towards the main exit, which means it’s impossible to jump over the balcony to save time while using the gate keys. sorry if this explanation is confusing it’s the best I can do it’s super noticeable if you use the quickest route inside the compound
Yeah, this is the main thing that's bothering me about the nerf, not being able to do it on hard mode basically. While I don't like the idea of waiting 3hrs so I can start it again, it's not that big of a deal for me, but let me have it on hard mode...
I have a feeling, that in addition to these changes, they also reduced the amount of gold and cocaine you could find on the Island... Have done just 3-4 heist after the update, but... I get the sense that... it is not an accident that I only get like 1-2 piles of gold from the compound and lots more cash than previously. Also - cocaine seems to be scattered around the island and - I have found 1-3 piles maximum. And of course - doing Pink Diamond on Hard Mode is going to be very rare occasion now...
I’ve had a lot more cocaine since the update, usually spawning together as well. So I don’t think they made that change, just chance. I had a coke drought before the update 😂
Yesterday i did my first scouting after the patch. 5x gold right away. I think you just got unlucky and i lucky. Cant tell from experience yet, but i think 3x gold should still be the average.
I've currently a new player grinding the heist right now I think your right I've gotten 7 or 8 tequila bottles, 2 bonds and 1 pink diamond. I can say gold is kinda rare I do see a ton of cash tho.
They made it that after getting the safe combo when going for bonds you have to escape the penthouse and casino and the cops once outside. Also, a good piece of advice is if you have found bolt cutters pick them up because with the bolt cutters, they are quieter than the cutting torch at cutting the chains to get after secondary loot. Last one I did was the pink diamond and a full gym bag of weed and got the elite challenge with about 54 seconds to spare was about 1.6 million.
It's still a huge nerf. Considering you could get a minimum on 1.3 million up to 1.8 every hour IRL. Due to the cooldown. you now lose out on gaining 2.6 - 3.6 million at least. For the sake of a 90k/45k/10k increase on secondary loot. So basically R* has taken away at least 2.5 million gains.
@@Typzical Are these other options as consistent? For example, the nightclub doesn't fill up in 1 hour. Passive income nets you a max of 76k in 48 mins. Remember the 150k is a one time bonus for these new business missions. Even so, if I did pre nerf Cayo. In 2.5 hours, you can get minimum of 3.9 million up to 5.4 million. And then you had fairer odds versus now. Can you elaborate on what nets you 4 million in 2.5 hours consistently?
@@MASTERJJ1995 I start by going to my auto shop and telling my staff to drop off the 2 vehicles. Go to my nightclub and do one of the little popularity missions that spawn in it. Then I send Lupe to do her rhing. Go to my bunker make sure the supplies are filled. Do the new ammunition sell mission. That's around 10-15 mins for all that. Then I either do a vehicle source and sell or a payphone hit. Kinda just depends where the ammunition drop off is. At this point I do a cayo setups. Whenever Lupe or sessanta message me I go there and repeat the steps. Then I do the cayo. So in total now around 1hr15-20 mins. After cayo I do another vehicle cargo or payphone hit. Then I check on lupe and the auto shop. Another 10-20. Making sure everything is going well and alternating those short jobs. Then at the last 25ish minutes I sell my bunker to LS of course. Then I go to my. Nightclub and sell. Then I go to my cargo and sell. Depending on how everything goes it can take a little less time or a little longer. Usually get between 3.7- 4.2 in 2.5-3hrs
I dont like that they specifically targeted solos because solo players always had it rough, specially before Cayo Perico, a 48 minutes as a universal Cooldown is very understandable but dont target solos, they cant even get Gold ffs. Also, i wish we had a better way to activate Hard Mode because having to get on after the Cooldown even if just to start Hard Mode isnt ideal. I also wish they made it so the payouts werent so confusing with all these fluctuating values depending on what you got as a primary target, maybe it wouldve been better to make a new system that integraded the prinary target into our bags but hey...
@@aiadot make primary take bag space, increase the bag size to compensate and make it so the amount of space it takes depends on the item, an example would be so the Pink Diamond takes a X amount of space that leaves you enough to put 4 piles of cash or 3 weed or cocaine... just like the way it is in game now BUT with the other items such as Tequila you would be able to fit more, example being 5 cash, 4 weed and so on...

That’s because 3 out of 6 of the primary targets were Nerfed by 30% and every secondary target except gold has gotten decreased by 10% so it’s much more enticing to play as a duo
Was running this with a friend of mine yesterday. I still had the panther from October, he had the diamond. We ran each of our heists about three times for eachother. After his third ran heist, his heist had disappeared like he played the whole thing through. We run mine right after and the same thing happened to me. Never saw that coming. Be careful doing the backout nowadays
Not seeing increased payouts, and the percentage chances of not getting Tequila after 72 hours doesn't make any sense. I can still get more money by playing the heist in the interim. Not to mention the cooldown appears to be much longer than the 2.5 hours they're claiming (I've seen it over 3 hours at one point) and all of this is simply a poke in the eye for solo players.
I mean, it made sense to adjust it given the nerf. It seems they just wanted people to stop spamming cayo perico and they didn't really want to undermine how much money the heist gives
As a grinder, this update has done nothing but encourage me to use the replay/gold glitch for the Cayo Perico heist. Rockstar has gotten me to do the exact opposite.
I did some math and no they didn't buff it. It is worse now actually. If you wait 72h then yes you do get better primary targets, but you can't have it with hard mode. Also worse primary targets give you more money per heist. If you set up the heist within 48 minutes of the last one, your average primary target take will be $1,083,500. Assuming that you get 350k worth of secondary targets, and adding the increases, you actually get $399,875. Adding them together will give us $1,483,375 on average per heist. Waiting 72h will give you on average $1,100,000 per heist from the primary target. It is similar to the last one because you don't get hard mode, which pays 10% more per primary target. From secondary targets, with 350k again, you can except an average of $371,000. Combining them will give you $1,471,000 after 72h. Doing the heist immediately after is more profitable. According to Tez on the gta forums, before the nerf tequila, ruby necklace and bearer bonds had a 27.78% probably, whereas pink diamond had 16.67%. Not saying that I got that few tequilas and that many bearer bonds but I'll take his word for it. This would make your average primary target take $1,155,121 with hard mode. Adding the 350k would make it $1,505,121! This means that you would make the most amount of money before criminal enterprices, with a subtle difference of around 1 headhunter or the heist's set up cost. The second best would be to do the heist with hard mode after the nerf. Waiting 72h will make you $12,375 less, which is nothing but also, why would you ever wait half a week for less? My formula for the primary target was just target value x it's probability + target value x it's probability +... for every primary target. My formula for the secondary targets was (350k + the extra you get from the primary target) x probability of that primary target + (350k + the extra you get from the primary target) x probability of that primary target +... for every primary target. All the calculations are here. Pre nerf: 990,000 x 0.2778 + 1,100,000 x 0.2778 + 1,210,000 x 0.2778 + 1,430,000 x 0.1667 = $1,155,121 1,155,121 + 350,000 = $1,505,121 After nerf, before 48 minutes: 990,000 x 0.6 + 1,100,000 x 0.15 + 1,210,000 x 0.15 + 1,430,000 x 0.1 = $1,083,500 (350,000 + 70,000) x 0.6 + (350,000 + 35,000) x 0.15 + (350,000 + 17,500) x 0.15 + 350,000 x 0.1 = $399,875 1,083,500 + 399,875 = 1,483,375 After nerf, waiting 72h: 1,000,000 x 0.4 + 1,100,000 x 0.4 + 1,300,000 x 0.2 = $1,100,000 (350,000 + 35,000) x 0.4 + (350,000 + 17,500) x 0.4 + 350,000 x 0.2 = $371,000 1,100,000 + 371,000 = $1,471,000 Differences: 1,505,121 - 1,483,375 = $21,746 1,483,375 - 1,471,000 = $12,375
If y’all have a diamond or bonds from before the update just do the replay glitch that’s what I’ve been doing and I think it’s better than trying for better loot in the new update
this may be an unpopular opinion, but as a compromise of keeping people interested and having wales buy cards at the same time, they should have nerfed the total possible payouts for cayo. not so much that it is useless, but just enough to get wales to spend money. not that i want people to buy shark cards, but if that means the rest of us get free content, i suppose a compromise with the devil is needed.
Why would anyone need to buy shark cards? It's not like they've added anything you need to spend money on. If you haven't grinded Cayo Perico enough already then you're doing something wrong. I've barely done it and don't have anything else I want to buy. There are plenty of other great ways to make money. Nightclub is amazing for passive income. The double payout on payphone hits was insane. I've made about 12 mil in the past week mostly just playing casually and only 1.3 of that was from Cayo Perico. How much money do you still need to get the things you want?

You should definitely do a video reviewing the new Special Cargo mission that's ridiculously complicated. You source special cargo and the mission will start by saying "Go to Hookies". Literally takes like 20 min to complete because it has like 8 steps you need to follow.
Important to mention: cayo guards can now hear gunfire as well, they couldn't before, so when killing the juggernaut be sure he dies quick, dont give him a chance to fire his gun. Top tip: use "aggressor" weapons set, auto shotgun kills jugg fast
I dont think you can actually get this much money. You'll be charged with all kinds of fees such as reselling the loot, eventually you'll get around 200k less.
@@loaf5025 pavel takes an average of 45k from me, but with fencing fees i end up paying somewhere around 200k, i always assume i’m losing 100k of the displaed number because the elite challenge helps balance it
the thing that ruins this update us the cooldown after you have completed a heist. I understand that it was maybe a little bit to short but 144 minutes are way to long. I belive that it is going to effect the game in a way that fewer people acculy play (my self included) just due to the fact that it is going to make it harder to make money and with each update everything gets more and more expensive. I think that the cayo nerf is a massive ´L. Yes you get more per heist but nothing every hour due to the cooldown.
so you just end up make about the same in the long term anyways, if not less, considering that the pay increase is so minimal, and there can often be up to 200k in fees after the heist anyways.
Just play cayo on your second character while waiting for the cooldown on your first character. It wont be exactly back-to-back grinding like before, but at least you don't have to focus on the other mundane businesses as much. This is what I've been doing: 1. complete cayo, preps and finale on first character, complete bunker sale right after. 2. Swap to second character, complete cayo, preps and finale on second character, complete bunker sale right after. 3. May need to do something else in-between but by that time cayo from the first character should be available again I believe that the cooldown still ticks while you're offline also, so while playing second character, your first character is in an offline state too.

Previously my playthrough only take primary target. Doing primary only is very low-risk; doing secondary is WAY more risky for my skill level. If I somehow have to start to center my cayo run around secondary loot, then OUCH
Like the people above said just take loot from the airport, you dont need to worry about any guards inside the hangar and outside is about 2 guards and one camera.
I've just completed this on the new download on my own. I went to Airstrip and filled bags with the usual bottom then top with forklift. Then to drain then followed you're pattern. Swam out so he didn't last in helicopter long. I bagged 2.1 mil. Didn't do it under time but practice makes permanent! Thank you for video. Cheers Ady
I do wish they just lowered primary target overall then increase secondary no matter what. It would then push people to do the heist with more people since you will then be able to earn more by being more people. Where right now reason so many does solo is because it won't be worth it to do with multiple people. Then there is no need to special long cool down for solo runs to push for more coop runs. But maybe these increases on secondary loot will make it more at equal footing to casino heist since you have to do that with other people.
the whole point of this heist is to allow solo players to do heists, many people don't have/don't want friends to play with them and logically doing heists with strangers sucks

@@caldeira_a just do solo gold glitch. It is impossible to track so you won’t get banned unless you go to the gta online forums and tell everyone that you do the glitch. You don’t get banned for the replay glitch or solo gold glitch.
I know most people assumed rockstar nerfed cayo bc people were making too much money off of it but I actually think this time they're doing it to encourage people to try all the content in the game. Pre nerf If you spent time grinding anything besides cayo you would know you're technically being inefficient. There should never be a method that is so much better than everything that it devalues everything

For solo, there are 3 secondary targets for easy money coke, weed, cash, or artwork. Usually when I see cash, I rage and i go for weed instead of cash since but even if weed also doesn't appear for me, I drive my longfin all the way to compound for multiple artwork in el-rubio's office. So just remember to avoid cash if your primary is pink diamond, ruby necklace, bearer bonds but if tequila then take 2 or 3 cash stacks same goes for ruby necklace but instead of cash take weed

It is alot harder to activate hard mode now because you essentially have to wait around for it to become active again, however the money I saved grinding this heist helped me buy alot of the other businesses and now I don't have to worry about jet griefers blowing up my shit every 2 minutes so it's nice being able to experience part of the game I never bothered with before
Literally the same here. Got bored of running perico all the time, am enjoying doing other sell missions now in invite only. Sure I ain't min maxing my cash flow but I got 50 mil in the bank so I ain't strapped for cash.
This is the thing that annoys me most - I don't really mind there being a longer cooldown but at least let me pay for the heist and get hard mode without having to mess around. It feels like a cheap way to steal 50k from players who reliably get elite challenge. I'm sympathetic with the view that a nerf was required - really Cayo payed too much to begin with - but as usual with Rockstar, they've gone about it in a clumsy, haphazard way that ends up making the experience worse for players. With a bit of thought they could have done it in a sensitive way that players would have got used to quickly and it would have been forgotten about in a few days.
Do these 72 hours after situations apply when you pay for the setup or when you complete the scope-out mission? Because depending on which situation it is that would make it impossible to get those 72 hour effects while also having it on hard mode
if you guys didn’t already know, secondary target spawns could boost you up to 1.4-1.6 mil. even with tequila, you could get 1.3-1.4 if your secondary spawns are good.
Yeah this update doesn’t change much for me. For one I don’t like repeating Cayo, so I basically played on my own “cooldown,” and when I do it I always scope out the island completely to get max loot so the payout change doesn’t affect me as much either.
I have a question ! Wait 36 hours ? You pay 25000 to get hard mode and wait 36 hours to start intel ? Or you wait 36 hours after completing heist before paying 25000 ? What is starting heist , pay 25k or start intel..... that's not clear to me. Thx in advance for clearing this out for me ;-)
if you're completing the finale solo, after you completed it there's a 192 minute wait before Pavel let's you start another heist, and if you start before 48 minutes after the 192 minute countdown it will be in Hard mode. Despite it saying 144minutes in the video it's 4 in-game days which is 192minutes in real time.

I didn’t like the sound of it at first. But I’m starting to like it. Higher payouts for Cayo but can only do it every once awhile. And it’s encouraging me to do my nightclub which I’m enjoying yohan is great. Lupe is okay but takes forever to get stock. But hey its passive income so I don’t care.
i think the nightclub buff is the best one out of the main four. tho i guess you can make more with the cargo but you'll need to spend way more than the nightclub so overall nightclub takes the best spot IMO. i also use the mc clubhouse as it's cheap to buy and grind bikes.
No. They tried to balance the heat it would bring them. That's a completly different thing from what you're saying. After killing rdo, GTA trilogy, GTA+ and GTA expanded they are under too much heat, now with gta6 going woke too. Infuriating the gtao community even more than what they did with the nerfs would be R* demise.

They made it to where I cannot get a Union depository to spawn at the Autoshop. I have one locked on my 2nd toon (pre-update) but no matter how many times I call Sessanta on my main (Like over 50 just to test it) I can't get one. I have looked at the patch notes I see nothing about them changing this. Really disappointed if this isn't fixed or if it was intentional. I Love warming up on that mission. Usually do 1 a day. Anyone know whats up with it? Also forgot to mention no Lost contract either.
No matter what primary and secondary you get, you’re still walking away with 1.2 mill! More than any other heist/business in the game for 1hr gameplay. People just like to cry
Are you dumb? It has allways been around 1.2M minimum. 1.05 worst case scenario with cash and tequila. Also, you are forgetting the key point. 1.2M for 1 hour and then 2.4M in 5 hours. Before you'd get 1.05M in a hour with worst case scenario, and over 5.25M in 5 hours. R* is just manipulating people with those pretty words of payout increases and mk2 nerf. Their real intention was to kill Cayo and nerf the overall income. The triple of 0 is still zero and that's what you earn with the races, contact missions and new old heists. Oh so now we have to deal with a 50% cut in our income? Well sucks for you, now deal with an even more increased inflation. That's what R* is doing.

I haven't played GTA Online since the update after Cayo Perico, but these changes have convinced me to probably come back. My Collection of Lampadati's has a thick layer of dust and there are more to add to the Collection now.
I noticed when doing the Casino heist and use the tunnels, when you exit the tunnels on the freeway, cops spawn on the exit so be careful not to hit them.
so pretty much whichever primary target you get, the secondary becomes higher or lower to get a consistent payout each time a heist is done. Only drawback is solo grinding cayo is longer coolodown but that's what the other businesses are for.
I am seriously not too fazed by the 3 or so hours cooldown. The game would become extremely boring only doing the heist over and over. I even got to a stage where I didn't do the heist for a while even after the cooldown passed as I was a bit sick of it. I use the time to do things like delivering other business goods, buy resupplies for empty businesses, source some vehicles and cargo, do security contracts, collect money in the safes, deliver excess weapons and export goods, promote the nightclub etc. (basic housekeeping) I know some will say I'm wasting potential money doing this but I like to keep it a bit more interesting. I still do the heist, but I don't keep a stopwatch close to use every second on this heist anymore 😀 and will do it when I feel like it. Btw I am not too hardup for cash anymore anyway. There are only so many things to buy. I only own like 5 super and 5 sports cars and not even a facility yet, but I'm not in a hurry to own absolutely everything as I'm sure I'll still play this for a while before GTA 6, so it gives something to look forward to.
Honestly I didn’t know what to think when I heard of the nerf but after seeing it I really think it’s a really good nerf. I’m having so much fun going to businesses doing missions and jobs while doing a cayo perico heist in between them.
I mean, I had taken a hiatus for a couple years before starting recently, so, nerfs and cooldowns and all, Cayo is still earning me WAY more money then I'm used to. Don't agree that the cooldown needs to be that long, but I'm still doing good and playing other parts of the game.
I like this new update because before it the number 1 way to make money was to do the Cayo Perico over and over again. Now you actually have to use businesses to make make the most money hourly possible
So in essence your making less per day because theirs a longer cooldown and the heist only takes like 2 hours to finish tops,but they slighly increased the payouts for the non relavant things since if your playing the cayo heist your likely going solo which means your making a million or pretty close to it as you cant open any of the doors when your all alone so your lucky if you get the painting in his office.
The way it's meant to work, is after one Cayo, for the next 72 hours (3 days), higher paying primary targets will decrease in either value or spawn rate (I can't really tell), but secondary targets will increase in value, trying to give it a co-op message of "The primary target's not gonna be worth as much, so if you bring more people for secondary targets, you can have more than just one person going after the primary.
In short if you do this heist now after 72 hours, you can actually get more cash even from secondary loot even if you get a primary target with the lowest value. Seems actually better than it was before the cayo perico heist got nerfed. I mean when did this heist the first time since the new dlc, I gotten a pink diamond and at the end I at least made 1.4 mill afterwards.
My new strategy might be just to get the loot from first shed at main docks and head to the compound via longfin to get heist done as quickly as possible.

I had stopped playing about a week or two after the Franklin and Dr Dre dlc. Once this new dlc came out, for these old businesses, I hopped back on and started up a Cayo lol. It was put to hard difficulty and I Found the pink diamond and 4 gold. I couldn't tell if that was pure luck or they kept track of a 6 month break and gave a boost. 🤣 Haven't played or set one up for a couple days nows. Curious to see what they toss in after an actual 48 hour wait. These payouts at the MC and CEO are definitely much better though, should've done this years ago.
Found a little glitch in the Heist with 2 people. If one person goes in the office first by there self and open the safe to get the money then leaves out and the other person comes in and goes to the safe the money will be there again. Whatever amount the first player gets is the same amount the second player get. We have done it multiple times so its official. Check it out
Just a small tidbit, the cool down is actually 192 minutes, so 3 hours and 12 minutes, this has been tested extensively and maybe it's something that R* intended or it may not be and will be changed, but as of now the cooldown is 192 minutes.
Had a feeling the payout was more than before. Only thing I don’t like is it seems a few guards don’t move around the same making stealth a little more time consuming

I got bearer bonds, cocaine and two cash piles and ended up getting exactly 1.4 million. Did it on normal and not hard and didn’t get elite challenge. This was just after the update. They deffo increased payouts

I was really worried when I first heard that there would be massive changes to the Cayo Perico payouts. But I think this will actually be good for the game overall, incentivizing either occasional solo runs, or grinding with friends, both of which are fun.
Truly the best update ever, lots of big numbers on the screen. Its important rockstar know we want big numbers on the screen in gta6. Hopefully they got the message its the most important thing, fuck new original content.
@@notreal1477 Honestly, the problems with GTA Online were less to do with "not enough stuff to do," and more with the foundational aspects like the payment structure and incentives. That's why this feels like a great change to me.
For a long time, many people would simply grind Cayo and nothing else in GTA. And it made sense; it was the most profitable thing to do by far. But it made everything else in the game feel like you were wasting your time.
I would be managing my MC buisness and Nightclub, or doing races with friends, and I would think "Why am I not doing Cayo right now? This isn't earning me any money."
Now players are rewarded for diversifying the way they play. That will definitely improve the players' experiences overall.

Quality of life updates are welcome from time to time, and in the case of GTA Online this is once in a blue moon. The cayo cooldown however is pretty lazy, maybe if they increased payouts based on approach so you had to play different approaches each time to make it less boring and less easy at the same time and have just a 48 minute cooldown for it, 144 is pretty overkill.
Now the difference between Diamond and Tequila are only 300k because of the bonus on secondary targets.
Before it was a cold 400k.
The solo cooldown for Cayo Heist is actually 4 in game days (192 minutes) according to Tez and I checked it myself.

What to do during a cool down or if you want some money
1) 5 large cargo warehouses, get them all full, sell them all when an event week has them 2x, on top of the first time 2x.
2) New contact missions: Fun and give lots of rp and money
3) Buy the mc businesses and get every business full, then wait for 2x.
4) simply prep for another heist
5) Bunker resupply/research then wait for 2x ( maybe do the ammunition delivery mission )
6) Call Yohan from your nightclub, and do some resupply or popularity missions
7) Get some friends on and enjoy the game
I've already grinded the crap out of special cargo so I'm pretty bored with that... And I find the new contact missions boring. But there's plenty to do. Nightclub, bunker, auto shop, bike shop, agency, payphone hits. I like doing business battles (minus the Cluckin Bell one).

The most frustrating thing for me in Online is that it has very little options that are fun for Soloplayers. I enjoyed Cayo, I did do it for the money also ofc but I wouldn't care having less payout but being able to play it more frequently since it is the only solo heist you can do . Now I dont really feel like playing since I dont have too much to do that I think is fun to fill the gap in between the heists. Yes, I have friends but I can't always play with them and I equally enjoy playing solo. and yes I do have all other businesses but I dont think most of the missions are fun enough. A heist has a buildup with the preparation missions and a highlight with the heist itself + there is more story behind it. Businesses are just simple missions..
I like the idea of the update but oh well.
i think you might’ve not been playing cayo for very long, it’s so fun at first, but after about 20 times it becomes incredibly draining, therefore imo this change is amazing, reducing how often you can do cayo opens you up to so many more possibilities with all the other businesses, making the game very refreshing and a lot more fun to play

@@loaf5025 I came back to GTA after about 3/4 years when the E&E released. Since then, I have played Cayo over 300 times from when the E&E came out (15th March 2022). I don't find it boring to this day because it's the same as any mission on GTA, it gets tedious. But the ability to mix up the mission keeps it fresh along with it being the best way to gain access to content locked behind GTA$

I hope they'd just add an option to start the heist in hard mode rather than it being timed. It's harder to time it now for busy people. Not everyone can wait for 2 hours just to start a heist.
@@knight_flyer1199 you have to call Pavel in less than 48 min after the cooldown. For example if you finish the heist at 10 PM and you resume to play next day at 6 PM, you missed that 48 min window and you are forced to play on normal for the next run.
If you want to keep hard mode you have to call Pavel Back between 1:12 and 1:59 AM (when you've finished the heist at 10 PM)
@@knight_flyer1199 he is saying that for you cuz you don't understand how the hard mode works, you can't just choose hard mode you have to time it, so if you want the hard mode you need to sit down and wait onde hour (at least) and then you will recieve a call from Pavel who will allow you to get the hard mode, what they should have done in this situation was allow the player to get the hard mode in the same way as before DLC but only be able to start the missions in the new cooldown time

With the set up now it's just a major inconvenience to people that can't sit around and wait 3 to 4 in game days. they seem to also have made a change to some of the guards inside the compound, the guard to the south side of el rubio’s building near the camera stays permanently looking at the stairs leading towards the main exit, which means it’s impossible to jump over the balcony to save time while using the gate keys. sorry if this explanation is confusing it’s the best I can do it’s super noticeable if you use the quickest route inside the compound
They did one of the guards doesn’t move at all anymore and the juggernaut walks on a different path as well

The hard mode is a pain. You have to schedule and make sure you have 21/2 hours to spare and remember to do it.
They should've just made it so you can instantly choose hard mode after finishing cayo before the heist cooldown starts

I have a feeling, that in addition to these changes, they also reduced the amount of gold and cocaine you could find on the Island... Have done just 3-4 heist after the update, but... I get the sense that... it is not an accident that I only get like 1-2 piles of gold from the compound and lots more cash than previously. Also - cocaine seems to be scattered around the island and - I have found 1-3 piles maximum.
And of course - doing Pink Diamond on Hard Mode is going to be very rare occasion now...
I’ve had a lot more cocaine since the update, usually spawning together as well. So I don’t think they made that change, just chance. I had a coke drought before the update 😂
I only get cash & weed only. Ran it with my girl twice & we got 1 table of gold only once but cash & painting both times😮💨
Pink diamonds on hard mode were already a very rare occasion
Yesterday i did my first scouting after the patch. 5x gold right away. I think you just got unlucky and i lucky. Cant tell from experience yet, but i think 3x gold should still be the average.
I've currently a new player grinding the heist right now I think your right I've gotten 7 or 8 tequila bottles, 2 bonds and 1 pink diamond. I can say gold is kinda rare I do see a ton of cash tho.
They made it that after getting the safe combo when going for bonds you have to escape the penthouse and casino and the cops once outside. Also, a good piece of advice is if you have found bolt cutters pick them up because with the bolt cutters, they are quieter than the cutting torch at cutting the chains to get after secondary loot. Last one I did was the pink diamond and a full gym bag of weed and got the elite challenge with about 54 seconds to spare was about 1.6 million.
It's still a huge nerf. Considering you could get a minimum on 1.3 million up to 1.8 every hour IRL. Due to the cooldown. you now lose out on gaining 2.6 - 3.6 million at least. For the sake of a 90k/45k/10k increase on secondary loot.
So basically R* has taken away at least 2.5 million gains.
That's if you do only cayo. If you actually do something else the payouts are around 4 million every 2.5 hrs that's with 1 Cayo.
@@Typzical Are these other options as consistent? For example, the nightclub doesn't fill up in 1 hour. Passive income nets you a max of 76k in 48 mins. Remember the 150k is a one time bonus for these new business missions.
Even so, if I did pre nerf Cayo. In 2.5 hours, you can get minimum of 3.9 million up to 5.4 million. And then you had fairer odds versus now.

@@MASTERJJ1995 I start by going to my auto shop and telling my staff to drop off the 2 vehicles. Go to my nightclub and do one of the little popularity missions that spawn in it. Then I send Lupe to do her rhing. Go to my bunker make sure the supplies are filled. Do the new ammunition sell mission. That's around 10-15 mins for all that. Then I either do a vehicle source and sell or a payphone hit. Kinda just depends where the ammunition drop off is. At this point I do a cayo setups. Whenever Lupe or sessanta message me I go there and repeat the steps. Then I do the cayo. So in total now around 1hr15-20 mins. After cayo I do another vehicle cargo or payphone hit. Then I check on lupe and the auto shop. Another 10-20. Making sure everything is going well and alternating those short jobs. Then at the last 25ish minutes I sell my bunker to LS of course. Then I go to my. Nightclub and sell. Then I go to my cargo and sell.
Depending on how everything goes it can take a little less time or a little longer. Usually get between 3.7- 4.2 in 2.5-3hrs

I dont like that they specifically targeted solos because solo players always had it rough, specially before Cayo Perico, a 48 minutes as a universal Cooldown is very understandable but dont target solos, they cant even get Gold ffs.
Also, i wish we had a better way to activate Hard Mode because having to get on after the Cooldown even if just to start Hard Mode isnt ideal.
I also wish they made it so the payouts werent so confusing with all these fluctuating values depending on what you got as a primary target, maybe it wouldve been better to make a new system that integraded the prinary target into our bags but hey...

@@aiadot make primary take bag space, increase the bag size to compensate and make it so the amount of space it takes depends on the item, an example would be so the Pink Diamond takes a X amount of space that leaves you enough to put 4 piles of cash or 3 weed or cocaine... just like the way it is in game now BUT with the other items such as Tequila you would be able to fit more, example being 5 cash, 4 weed and so on...

That’s because 3 out of 6 of the primary targets were Nerfed by 30% and every secondary target except gold has gotten decreased by 10% so it’s much more enticing to play as a duo
Was running this with a friend of mine yesterday. I still had the panther from October, he had the diamond. We ran each of our heists about three times for eachother. After his third ran heist, his heist had disappeared like he played the whole thing through. We run mine right after and the same thing happened to me. Never saw that coming. Be careful doing the backout nowadays
Not seeing increased payouts, and the percentage chances of not getting Tequila after 72 hours doesn't make any sense. I can still get more money by playing the heist in the interim.
Not to mention the cooldown appears to be much longer than the 2.5 hours they're claiming (I've seen it over 3 hours at one point) and all of this is simply a poke in the eye for solo players.

As a grinder, this update has done nothing but encourage me to use the replay/gold glitch for the Cayo Perico heist. Rockstar has gotten me to do the exact opposite.

I did some math and no they didn't buff it. It is worse now actually. If you wait 72h then yes you do get better primary targets, but you can't have it with hard mode. Also worse primary targets give you more money per heist.
If you set up the heist within 48 minutes of the last one, your average primary target take will be $1,083,500. Assuming that you get 350k worth of secondary targets, and adding the increases, you actually get $399,875. Adding them together will give us $1,483,375 on average per heist.
Waiting 72h will give you on average $1,100,000 per heist from the primary target. It is similar to the last one because you don't get hard mode, which pays 10% more per primary target. From secondary targets, with 350k again, you can except an average of $371,000. Combining them will give you $1,471,000 after 72h. Doing the heist immediately after is more profitable.
According to Tez on the gta forums, before the nerf tequila, ruby necklace and bearer bonds had a 27.78% probably, whereas pink diamond had 16.67%. Not saying that I got that few tequilas and that many bearer bonds but I'll take his word for it. This would make your average primary target take $1,155,121 with hard mode. Adding the 350k would make it $1,505,121!
This means that you would make the most amount of money before criminal enterprices, with a subtle difference of around 1 headhunter or the heist's set up cost. The second best would be to do the heist with hard mode after the nerf. Waiting 72h will make you $12,375 less, which is nothing but also, why would you ever wait half a week for less?
My formula for the primary target was just target value x it's probability + target value x it's probability +... for every primary target.
My formula for the secondary targets was (350k + the extra you get from the primary target) x probability of that primary target + (350k + the extra you get from the primary target) x probability of that primary target +... for every primary target.

this may be an unpopular opinion, but as a compromise of keeping people interested and having wales buy cards at the same time, they should have nerfed the total possible payouts for cayo. not so much that it is useless, but just enough to get wales to spend money. not that i want people to buy shark cards, but if that means the rest of us get free content, i suppose a compromise with the devil is needed.
Why would anyone need to buy shark cards? It's not like they've added anything you need to spend money on. If you haven't grinded Cayo Perico enough already then you're doing something wrong. I've barely done it and don't have anything else I want to buy. There are plenty of other great ways to make money. Nightclub is amazing for passive income. The double payout on payphone hits was insane. I've made about 12 mil in the past week mostly just playing casually and only 1.3 of that was from Cayo Perico.
How much money do you still need to get the things you want?

You should definitely do a video reviewing the new Special Cargo mission that's ridiculously complicated. You source special cargo and the mission will start by saying "Go to Hookies". Literally takes like 20 min to complete because it has like 8 steps you need to follow.
I think the best cayo for duo's is pink diamond and 3 gold split.

Important to mention: cayo guards can now hear gunfire as well, they couldn't before, so when killing the juggernaut be sure he dies quick, dont give him a chance to fire his gun. Top tip: use "aggressor" weapons set, auto shotgun kills jugg fast

I dont think you can actually get this much money. You'll be charged with all kinds of fees such as reselling the loot, eventually you'll get around 200k less.

I belive that it is going to effect the game in a way that fewer people acculy play (my self included) just due to the fact that it is going to make it harder to make money and with each update everything gets more and more expensive. I think that the cayo nerf is a massive ´L. Yes you get more per heist but nothing every hour due to the cooldown.
so you just end up make about the same in the long term anyways, if not less, considering that the pay increase is so minimal, and there can often be up to 200k in fees after the heist anyways.
Just play cayo on your second character while waiting for the cooldown on your first character. It wont be exactly back-to-back grinding like before, but at least you don't have to focus on the other mundane businesses as much.
This is what I've been doing:
1. complete cayo, preps and finale on first character, complete bunker sale right after.
2. Swap to second character, complete cayo, preps and finale on second character, complete bunker sale right after.
3. May need to do something else in-between but by that time cayo from the first character should be available again
I believe that the cooldown still ticks while you're offline also, so while playing second character, your first character is in an offline state too.

There is no reason to spend 45 min on preps then do the heist in 10 min then wait for 2 hours. Why would you ever be dumb enough to wait for 2 hours. All rockstar wants you to do is spend those 2 hours online to boost shark card sales. In conclusion don’t be stupid and use the replay glitch

Previously my playthrough only take primary target. Doing primary only is very low-risk; doing secondary is WAY more risky for my skill level. If I somehow have to start to center my cayo run around secondary loot, then OUCH
that's one of the worst ideas I've ever heard lol. secondary targets are literally 50% of the loot and they aren't hard at all to get.
Just get the secondary look from the airport, you only have to take out like 3-4 gaurds and a camera

I've just completed this on the new download on my own. I went to Airstrip and filled bags with the usual bottom then top with forklift. Then to drain then followed you're pattern. Swam out so he didn't last in helicopter long. I bagged 2.1 mil. Didn't do it under time but practice makes permanent! Thank you for video. Cheers Ady
I do wish they just lowered primary target overall then increase secondary no matter what. It would then push people to do the heist with more people since you will then be able to earn more by being more people. Where right now reason so many does solo is because it won't be worth it to do with multiple people.
Then there is no need to special long cool down for solo runs to push for more coop runs.
But maybe these increases on secondary loot will make it more at equal footing to casino heist since you have to do that with other people.
the whole point of this heist is to allow solo players to do heists, many people don't have/don't want friends to play with them and logically doing heists with strangers sucks
Yeah my friends been saying similar. If he comes along he only wants like 15% cut so I make more money than doing it solo if we can loot gold.

@@caldeira_a just do solo gold glitch. It is impossible to track so you won’t get banned unless you go to the gta online forums and tell everyone that you do the glitch. You don’t get banned for the replay glitch or solo gold glitch.

I know most people assumed rockstar nerfed cayo bc people were making too much money off of it but I actually think this time they're doing it to encourage people to try all the content in the game. Pre nerf If you spent time grinding anything besides cayo you would know you're technically being inefficient. There should never be a method that is so much better than everything that it devalues everything

For solo, there are 3 secondary targets for easy money coke, weed, cash, or artwork. Usually when I see cash, I rage and i go for weed instead of cash since but even if weed also doesn't appear for me, I drive my longfin all the way to compound for multiple artwork in el-rubio's office. So just remember to avoid cash if your primary is pink diamond, ruby necklace, bearer bonds but if tequila then take 2 or 3 cash stacks same goes for ruby necklace but instead of cash take weed

It is alot harder to activate hard mode now because you essentially have to wait around for it to become active again, however the money I saved grinding this heist helped me buy alot of the other businesses and now I don't have to worry about jet griefers blowing up my shit every 2 minutes so it's nice being able to experience part of the game I never bothered with before
Literally the same here. Got bored of running perico all the time, am enjoying doing other sell missions now in invite only. Sure I ain't min maxing my cash flow but I got 50 mil in the bank so I ain't strapped for cash.
This is the thing that annoys me most - I don't really mind there being a longer cooldown but at least let me pay for the heist and get hard mode without having to mess around. It feels like a cheap way to steal 50k from players who reliably get elite challenge. I'm sympathetic with the view that a nerf was required - really Cayo payed too much to begin with - but as usual with Rockstar, they've gone about it in a clumsy, haphazard way that ends up making the experience worse for players. With a bit of thought they could have done it in a sensitive way that players would have got used to quickly and it would have been forgotten about in a few days.
Just do the replay glitch, it bypasses the cooldown. All of the MC businesses are trash and aren’t worth doing at all, same with crates.
Do these 72 hours after situations apply when you pay for the setup or when you complete the scope-out mission? Because depending on which situation it is that would make it impossible to get those 72 hour effects while also having it on hard mode

if you guys didn’t already know, secondary target spawns could boost you up to 1.4-1.6 mil. even with tequila, you could get 1.3-1.4 if your secondary spawns are good.
Secondary loot has all been trash even when I ran it with 2 people
But even then if you DO get 1.4 million, the 10+2% cut pavel and fencer takes puts it back down to 1.2 million.
Yeah this update doesn’t change much for me. For one I don’t like repeating Cayo, so I basically played on my own “cooldown,” and when I do it I always scope out the island completely to get max loot so the payout change doesn’t affect me as much either.

if you're completing the finale solo, after you completed it there's a 192 minute wait before Pavel let's you start another heist, and if you start before 48 minutes after the 192 minute countdown it will be in Hard mode. Despite it saying 144minutes in the video it's 4 in-game days which is 192minutes in real time.

I have done 18 cayo perico heists in the past week and about 13 have been tequila, 3 Ruby necklaces, 1 bearer bonds and 1 pink diamond
I didn’t like the sound of it at first. But I’m starting to like it. Higher payouts for Cayo but can only do it every once awhile. And it’s encouraging me to do my nightclub which I’m enjoying yohan is great. Lupe is okay but takes forever to get stock. But hey its passive income so I don’t care.
i think the nightclub buff is the best one out of the main four. tho i guess you can make more with the cargo but you'll need to spend way more than the nightclub so overall nightclub takes the best spot IMO. i also use the mc clubhouse as it's cheap to buy and grind bikes.

They made it to where I cannot get a Union depository to spawn at the Autoshop. I have one locked on my 2nd toon (pre-update) but no matter how many times I call Sessanta on my main (Like over 50 just to test it) I can't get one. I have looked at the patch notes I see nothing about them changing this. Really disappointed if this isn't fixed or if it was intentional. I Love warming up on that mission. Usually do 1 a day. Anyone know whats up with it? Also forgot to mention no Lost contract either.
This is second time when UD and Lost MC contract are bugged by not popping up on that board.

I got five piles of gold in the rooms, 1 painting in the office and one painting in the basement.
No matter what primary and secondary you get, you’re still walking away with 1.2 mill! More than any other heist/business in the game for 1hr gameplay. People just like to cry
Are you dumb? It has allways been around 1.2M minimum. 1.05 worst case scenario with cash and tequila.
Also, you are forgetting the key point. 1.2M for 1 hour and then 2.4M in 5 hours.
Before you'd get 1.05M in a hour with worst case scenario, and over 5.25M in 5 hours.
R* is just manipulating people with those pretty words of payout increases and mk2 nerf. Their real intention was to kill Cayo and nerf the overall income.
The triple of 0 is still zero and that's what you earn with the races, contact missions and new old heists.
Oh so now we have to deal with a 50% cut in our income? Well sucks for you, now deal with an even more increased inflation. That's what R* is doing.
Even as someone who used to solo grind Cayo, I can tell most of these people are crying just cause they can’t make 7 mil in a single day.

I haven't played GTA Online since the update after Cayo Perico, but these changes have convinced me to probably come back. My Collection of Lampadati's has a thick layer of dust and there are more to add to the Collection now.

I noticed when doing the Casino heist and use the tunnels, when you exit the tunnels on the freeway, cops spawn on the exit so be careful not to hit them.
so pretty much whichever primary target you get, the secondary becomes higher or lower to get a consistent payout each time a heist is done. Only drawback is solo grinding cayo is longer coolodown but that's what the other businesses are for.

I am seriously not too fazed by the 3 or so hours cooldown. The game would become extremely boring only doing the heist over and over. I even got to a stage where I didn't do the heist for a while even after the cooldown passed as I was a bit sick of it. I use the time to do things like delivering other business goods, buy resupplies for empty businesses, source some vehicles and cargo, do security contracts, collect money in the safes, deliver excess weapons and export goods, promote the nightclub etc. (basic housekeeping)
I know some will say I'm wasting potential money doing this but I like to keep it a bit more interesting. I still do the heist, but I don't keep a stopwatch close to use every second on this heist anymore 😀 and will do it when I feel like it. Btw I am not too hardup for cash anymore anyway. There are only so many things to buy. I only own like 5 super and 5 sports cars and not even a facility yet, but I'm not in a hurry to own absolutely everything as I'm sure I'll still play this for a while before GTA 6, so it gives something to look forward to.
Honestly I didn’t know what to think when I heard of the nerf but after seeing it I really think it’s a really good nerf. I’m having so much fun going to businesses doing missions and jobs while doing a cayo perico heist in between them.
I mean, I had taken a hiatus for a couple years before starting recently, so, nerfs and cooldowns and all, Cayo is still earning me WAY more money then I'm used to. Don't agree that the cooldown needs to be that long, but I'm still doing good and playing other parts of the game.

I like this new update because before it the number 1 way to make money was to do the Cayo Perico over and over again. Now you actually have to use businesses to make make the most money hourly possible
The cayo replay glitch still works on console and pc so I’m just happy that I don’t have to wait 48mins just to re do the heist
So in essence your making less per day because theirs a longer cooldown and the heist only takes like 2 hours to finish tops,but they slighly increased the payouts for the non relavant things since if your playing the cayo heist your likely going solo which means your making a million or pretty close to it as you cant open any of the doors when your all alone so your lucky if you get the painting in his office.
I wish the cool down was the same as the other heists

The way it's meant to work, is after one Cayo, for the next 72 hours (3 days), higher paying primary targets will decrease in either value or spawn rate (I can't really tell), but secondary targets will increase in value, trying to give it a co-op message of "The primary target's not gonna be worth as much, so if you bring more people for secondary targets, you can have more than just one person going after the primary.
Also, yes, I clicked on the video and went into the comments. When I made the comment, I was doing something else and couldn't listen to the audio.
You can skip the cooldown and prep if you do the internet glitch, it still works fine
In short if you do this heist now after 72 hours, you can actually get more cash even from secondary loot even if you get a primary target with the lowest value. Seems actually better than it was before the cayo perico heist got nerfed.
I mean when did this heist the first time since the new dlc, I gotten a pink diamond and at the end I at least made 1.4 mill afterwards.
My new strategy might be just to get the loot from first shed at main docks and head to the compound via longfin to get heist done as quickly as possible.

i feel like the panther statue should be a permanent target now that the cooldown is so high, maybe 5% chance or less, feels like we haven't had a panther statue week in a year
I did 7 time of the jewelry and I’m been waiting for weeks for a different target
I had stopped playing about a week or two after the Franklin and Dr Dre dlc. Once this new dlc came out, for these old businesses, I hopped back on and started up a Cayo lol. It was put to hard difficulty and I Found the pink diamond and 4 gold. I couldn't tell if that was pure luck or they kept track of a 6 month break and gave a boost. 🤣 Haven't played or set one up for a couple days nows. Curious to see what they toss in after an actual 48 hour wait. These payouts at the MC and CEO are definitely much better though, should've done this years ago.
Found a little glitch in the Heist with 2 people. If one person goes in the office first by there self and open the safe to get the money then leaves out and the other person comes in and goes to the safe the money will be there again. Whatever amount the first player gets is the same amount the second player get. We have done it multiple times so its official. Check it out
Just a small tidbit, the cool down is actually 192 minutes, so 3 hours and 12 minutes, this has been tested extensively and maybe it's something that R* intended or it may not be and will be changed, but as of now the cooldown is 192 minutes.
Had a feeling the payout was more than before. Only thing I don’t like is it seems a few guards don’t move around the same making stealth a little more time consuming
