I'll remember being at this show for as long as I live, and particularly I'll remember the whole second set and encores. Like others have rightly said in these comments, the Garden was so quiet during this song that you could hear a pin drop. And afterwards the crowd went absolutely bananas, and I can still rmember that electricity in the air...that electricity that only those most special of Dead shows seemed to create. I remember after they finished And We Bid you Goodnight, the place was absolutely almost deafeningly loud! Miss you, Jerry...
Zinc Saucier There would be more shows, some good, some, well at times good, but as I boarded the Green line that night, I felt deep down, that at the conclusion of We Bid You Goodnight, the Heart of Gold band, had said goodnight, forever. Nearly 20 years gone, and I still miss them. And the joy Grateful Dead brought to so many people.
@@jaygordon9921 Why did you quit coming to this site to listen to them play? 😒 Was it because Jerry died? One of his songs popped into my head yesterday. It reminded me of our government today in America 🇺🇸 Titled: "Ship of Fools." I hope you're okay. Peace ✌ ☮ and Love ❤
This closed out the Boston Garden (Aerosmith played one last concert) but I was there and witnessed dozens of Dead Heads spent the previous nite in the rafters and drop down once the music started. Nothing like a Dead show.
right on sunflower0122.. I was in there too :+p. I remember how quiet it got during this it was eerie. Then the place was bonkers again yaahoo!! So nice to see this!!
