One of your best photo walkabouts, Tommy. I've had this camera for over 10 years and thought about trading it in for something better many many times, then taken it out for one last time and changed my mind after looking at the results. It's nice to see so many people like you appreciating this camera again. Please keep up the good work.
Thanks so much! This camera restarted my photo journey again. I made some videos about it, and I see so many people appreciate it! The story will continue! Have a nice day! ✌️😁
I just bought one of these cameras with a genuine Fuji leather case. (2023). It’s beautiful. It cost about £200 'as new'. I wondered if you use EXR mode at all? I’ve still not worked it out, but will have fun trying, I think.
Let me know what you discover! I tried it, but some days i don’t like the camera and os decide everything for me, in the EXR mode there is some “undermodes” that can precise what you need it for. I would call it the PRO auto mode :) and its nothing wrong with that! I think its a great way to turn off the back screen and picture preview and go for a photo walk just using the viewfinder! And see the results at home!✌️😊
@@maureencox1637 I started in Norwegian winter, grey flat sky and snow, just go out and shoot, action inspires creativity! Get some music in your ears and explore the city you live in! ✌️
I tried it once, it works, had to change to higher iso, if you can accept some noise or grain on the images its ok, colours were fine. Tripod always helps in this kind of photography. Handheld it might be tricky. But some images with a little blur can have its charm as well :) there is some night mode if I remember right, the camera take 2 shots and compose it together for better quality photo.
Do you ever ask permission from people to post images with them in it on instagram and stuff? I know it’s sort of a grey area in norwegian law regarding the definition in the law texts around the word «portrait» as in the person being the focal point of a picture - I usually end up with loads of pictures of things and not people just to stay clear of the whole debacle :)
Nope, whenever I think of that I try to follow few rules. If someone ask me to delete the photo, I do it. If there is some special situation and I want to shoot portrait of a person, I ask. If someone is part of the scene but not the main theme I assume this is ok to post it. I try not to photograph people at their low moments, poverty, drugs etc. There is a lot of different people out there, some gonna be happy some don’t. In the end I don’t use photographs with malicious intent or for money gain. Its just hobby. Like you said, bit of a grey area. Cheers✌️
@@TommyNordpole Thanks :) It’s the «part of a scene but not the main subject» that always «gets» me, since the scene usually would be really empty/not that interesting without the people in it, and I start second guessing my self, «would I be okay if someone else put a photo of me out there minding my own business» and all that - oh well, at least it’s good practice :) Keep up the good work, always nice to see these videos from Oslo trying to «spot the spots» :)
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, comment which one is your favourite for photography!

@@TommyNordpole thanks for the advice! It’s been raining for so long here (England), I haven’t used it much yet.
