Is the scaffold ladder still half sawn through at the end of the entrance tunnel?
We used to pay £5 to park the cars at the bottom to access through the part flooded entrance tunnel as it wasn't fun trying to
scramble down with all your dive gear on.It's a bit of challenge to dive there logistically, and its at alltitude, also need to take into
account for extracion if something goes pear shaped!
I have dived in there alot 20yrs ago ,properly lined off exploring the flooded tunnels.
Not to be done lightly as there have been fatalities.
There was, and proberly still is a few cars and aTransit van at the bottom, pushed off from the top or a rock on the accelerator pedal? 😉
We used to wonder if anyone would jump off the top, but the were never any takers.
Total respect, I know how cold the water is 😁...

I've always wondered how many tunnels and how far they go. Surely there's a map online somewhere?

@@And-rc9yy See if you can get hold of a copy of "990" Uk diving magazine, volume 3 issue 6. It has an article "Close Thing" By Mark Hooson. Its a fair few years old now and no longer in print, but provides really good detail on diving there and what is required, there is a map and photographs.
Aternatively seek out The British Cave Diving Group.

Why are people saying this is 330 feet? It's like 100 feet max.

Someone said 100 meters ..I dunno. They can't cliff dive it. There's no way that's 100m tho

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
