The video has an awesome artistic flair to it that is rarely seen in this genre. Nice work. Although, I don't get this loneliness concept. Loneliness is definitely a personal experience that is not the same for everybody. For example, I have been abroad now for 15 years and the most appealing thing about this lifestyle is not being obligated to others. It's about making friendships for short times and lasting forever. I actually love the solitude of living outside of the US. I have so much more control over what I do, who I do it with, and when I do everything. In other words, loneliness is a self-defined action. What is loneliness to one is nirvana for another. I love this life and will live abroad for the rest of my life. Best of luck to you!
Thank you! And I agree. There are people that experience both ends of the spectrum. As I mentioned in another comment, this is not my current mental state. I now enjoy being alone and the fact that I am not obligated to others. I do have friends lol and wonderful experiences, etc. This is more so to highlight what others go through including myself at one point. There are so many video of travelers talking about these same exact things. If you didn’t have an experience like this at any point in your journey, that’s amazing!! The point of this video is to inform people that moving abroad is not always peaches and cream and comes with challenges, but none of the lows out-ways the highs. I wouldn’t change it for the world . But thank you for watching! Best of luck to you as well!😊
I resonated with this so heavily!! What a beautiful gift it is to move and live abroad but those thoughts definitely do often creep in. I just ask God to help me always remain aligned with His will and even though it doesn’t always make sense, I trust that He’ll be able to use it for His glory. Thank you for sharing❤
Fabulous content. I also just moved to Thailand solo. It's such a ride but that self discovery is worth every second of that roller coaster. You are flawless my dear ❤
You have a gift for storytelling. Your channel will be one of the big ones in the near future - just stay consistent. I am from London, but have lived in 10 countries so far - travelled to 42 (can’t help myself, I just love exploring the world). Love Bangkok and Koh Samui, but my next stop is Da Nang Vietnam. Btw, do you edit your videos/what editing software are you using?
Jew, I enjoy your work. Keep, doing you. I appreciate you sharing these shorts. I look forward to viewing the next share. Btw happy new year, cheers from Northern California.
What a great lil best friend you got! How old is he? Wish I could bring my rottie during my first visit to Thailand, but hopefully she can join during the second visit.
Great content! 🎉❤ challenge yourself to do uncomfortable things! Walk up to people and start conversation! Slowly that little outgoing girl will come back. I know because that was me.. the world has a way of taking the innocence. But anything can be built again 🌈
Not being around people that look like you or that you can immediately relate to takes a lot away from the experience. Only through time does this change.
I don’t mind being around people that don’t look like me. I lived in all parts of the world, and spent most of my adult years abroad. I think just moving abroad in general changes you. In many ways and none of it is negative(for me). But my experience isn’t directly related to not being around people who don’t look like me! But I do understand how that could impact people’s experience! Thanks for watching! I appreciate the support 😊
Hey Jew, I am really interested in your journey, as mine is similar. I have a few questions for you if you don't mind answering, how do you support yourself, do you plan to learn Thai and what made you choose Thailand as a place to live away from the USA? I have studied Thai before and been there twice, but never extensively. But I have been a traveller/nomad since 23 years of age, and am now 46, but later this year I have bigger plans than ever before.
@@jew.diaries Oh wow! Does the camera follow you when you move? Your videos are excellent! I am marking this date as you currently have 1.82 subscribers, in the future you will come back and be shocked at how fast your subs grew, just watch ;) Btw, love your ponderings about life, keep sharing them, it's fascinating and super interesting. Wish I had thought about doing this when I was 24, although I guess youtube etc didn't exist back then, so there must be some reason I had to wait til 2025 to start living "this dream" as my other one died off.
Love your style of vlogging it’s amazing love all the different angles ❤❤❤what camera you using to record? Plus do you have instagram? I am moving to Paris next month I am excited 😊
@@stacyswift-kv1oi Thank you so much! 😊 I switch between my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and my iPhone 15 pro max. Nice, that’s exciting! I thought about moving to Paris!!! I hope you enjoy ☺️

Watching and feeling while living abroad. Excellent reflections on self-discovery. I wouldn't want to have it any other way. Cheers from Vietnam!

Fun fact- My daughter in-law lives in Thailand, is Cuban and sings at many of the Latino clubs in Bangkok
Enjoyed the video...Where did you go for Salsa? I'd like to check out one of the clubs as well.
