CSR 2 | CSR Racing 2, Low PP High Evo, Normal Tune, Hybrid setup Matchmaking effects

  • I match my Low PP High Evo car to a normal tune with Dyno busting capabilities and finally show a hybrid setup with the regular Jesko. Matchmaking can get pretty mixed when cars setup all differently end up in the same lobby. But the lobby advantage of the low pp high evo setups are probably what is best for current meta. Until matchmaking is tweaked again, the most effective setups are the Hybrid low pp high evo and dyno beating tunes that can be used against any car in the lobby to high win ratio. Ultimately, you have to match the car's to the right lobby but these are the best live racers when setup properly.

    I came up with a similar tune for the Jesko Drako Red stage 5 transmission and body, stage 3 nitro and tires, everything else stock. Final drive 3.40 tires 8 PSI, nitro highest evo. I got 637 on pp and 2100 and something on the evo. I’m missing some fusions with 2100 evo but it runs 10.5 half a tenth slower then dyno wins every race, never gets bumped of course. I love that car for that reason but gonna compare your tune with mine. Awesome video as always! Hope you have a good rest of your day max. This is Hobbs the gamer not leaving a short comment 😆 lol.

    Hey Max! Just re-watched your video. It definitely helped but the more I learned testing cars the more confusing it gets.
    For example I have a car and use different combinations of parts but keep the same PP and adjust the EVO I can be put in to different lobbies by as little as 0.01 of dyno. I tune down to get in the slower lobby. I also switch around upgrades and try to get the lowest PP possible and more EVO for the same lobby and find a tune harder to accidentally beat dyno. My car is set 6PP lower than the max in my current lobby before moving to a faster one and has more EVO and dyno is faster than some of the other setups I made with higher PP.
    Problem is even if I don’t break dyno I get bumped and have to retune for a slower dyno before I was bumped. I believe I’m in an 8.6-8.99 lobby and tuned for 8.386 that needs NOS to beat dyno. I could use a faster setup but it’s harder not to beat dyno.

    • @maxthegamerOG
      @maxthegamerOG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is also the lobby edge issue. Depending on the pp versus Evo ratio, which is usually best at least 3 Evo to 1 pp min. If you are a lobby faster in Dyno, especially in faster lobbies, it's much harder to keep the car in lobby.

    • @JR-yn2kl
      @JR-yn2kl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maxthegamerOG i was playing around more with the combination of parts and it was as low as somewhere between 675-678 up to 687 PP and 2200-2500+ EVO put me in what I’m assuming to be the 8.6-8.99 lobby? My PP to EVO ratio is almost 3.72X higher at my current setup.
      The fastest dyno I was ever able to use was 8.37X but eventually would get bumped and have to retune between 8.4xx-8.5xx depending on how high the PP was.

    • @maxthegamerOG
      @maxthegamerOG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JR-yn2kl 8.399 is a lobby edge if I recall correctly. You can run into 8.100 and slower cars in that lobby. By moving to 8.4xx you are at lobby faster end and therefore would win more easily. Even with one lobby advantage you still want the slower lobby of the two.

    • @JR-yn2kl
      @JR-yn2kl 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maxthegamerOG I started in that lobby with a dyno of 8.537 then 8.517 then I got to 8.493 but would get bumped and have to re-tune again. I’m still in the same lobby as before now with 8.38x-8.93x but if I get bumped I no longer have an advantage and the low PP High EVO is not effective in 8.2-8.599.
      I do slow down to try to get slower times and lose on purpose here and there but still trying to beat a few people in my lobby and I always tune for the slower lobby

  • @youngfreekicker479
    @youngfreekicker479 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ve been trying to understand lobbies for a while now, do you get placed in lobbies by dyno or the time u can actually run, because sometimes I use a car with an evo drop tune like the berlinetta which is running a second faster than dyno wirh -69 evo and it puts me in a lobby with the time I run and not the dyno

    • @maxthegamerOG
      @maxthegamerOG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It starts with dyno when you first join a lobby. But once you run the car a few times. The matchmaking will adjust your lobby by your average run times relative to your dyno. If you run faster than dyno on average it will move you to a faster lobby.

      It's the maxed PP for most tier 4 cars. So it made sense any tier 5 that can hold that PP level and out perform the tier 4 would be match make competitively.

      Jesko is a good car. Strong even with lower upgrades. But you have to know that fusions are very hard to get. None of these cars are as good until full fusion.

    Hey Max I was thinking about building my supersnake for the upcoming showdown. Does it have any low performance high evo dyno beating tunes? Don't want to really build it just for the showdown.

    • @maxthegamerOG

      It's really just built for showdown. I don't use it outside of these SDs. But it has been part of a few Elite SD over the past seasons.

      It can be if you run it too much faster than dyno. But with controlled runs it usually can stay winnable for awhile.

    Hm .. have a question here
    When you are not low pp , high evo .. the way lobby is decided for you car is by looking at the dyno
    But when you are super low pp , High evo ... your dyno does not matter much ( like the jesko which was at 9.1 but got put in 9.5 lobby ) ??

    • @maxthegamerOG
      @maxthegamerOG  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Dyno matters still, but because the car is much less PP than everything in that Dyno range, the algorithm seems to move you to a slower lobby initially. However, once you run the car, the average run time takes precedence and overrides the Dyno.

      Mostly depends on specific cars getting very high Evo from fusions at lower upgrades.
