Wow. This was fantastic! I teach a class where I have multiple page handouts, many with graphics. I create them in Pages, but always struggle when I try to place graphics (mostly icons) into the document. This tutorial should help me immensely going forward. I especially like the tip about removing the background from a non-png image. You're the best Gary!
Excellent Video...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE and am INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL for each and every one of your tutorials because I've gained knowledge from many of them!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH GARY!! Can you please just explain how I would be able to select an object or a text box that I have arranged and sent to the back but is no longer selected? Also, is it the same function in Numbers as it is in Pages?
Click outside of all of the object in the margins of the page, and drag to select the thing you want. You'll get other things too, but then you can Shift+click to deselect those until you get just what you want.

I have been fighting with Pages over images since I changed from MSWord (shortly after buying a Mac). This is great.

Pages is a weak point for me. I'm going to have to bookmark this and refer back. A lot of that is pretty deep for me. Very good tutorial.

Agree. This tutorial certainly helped me to understand why text wrapping behaves the way it does. I’m going to experiment!

how do I change a image color? not shape but a image ?
Not sure what you mean. Like tint the image? Make it brighter or something? What, specifically?
