Welcoming a New Season - Autumn in The Welsh Countryside (Vlog 4)
มุมมอง 16Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons. It's a time of reflection and harvest, and also a time of preparation. It's when we clear out the old and make room for the new. There's a bubbling energy in the air at this time of year, and I've done my best to capture it in this little vlog around home (and away). Thank you for spending your time and energy here, I hope you can take somethi...

Moving to a remote cottage in Pembrokeshire, Wales - Vlog 3
มุมมอง 794K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Last summer, we moved to a remote cottage in Pembrokeshire, Wales. This is the beginning of that story. It's had ups and downs - a constant balance of freedom and isolation, but I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to live in this corner of the world, and wanted to share it here in a cozy vlog 💕 Because everyone always asks 'How far is your nearest supermarket?' I thought I'd clarify that ...
Living in a village in the English countryside and why I left
มุมมอง 42K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Today's video is a little story time about what it was like living in a small village in the English countryside, and the benefits and challenges that came with it. If you have any experience on village life, does it differ to mine? I would love to hear about it in the comments :) Instagram: adventuringbeth?hl=en Music: Epidemic Sound
I discovered I'm an *Empath* - and some self-care practices that changed my life.
มุมมอง 15K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
Discovering I'm an empath has been something that has entirely changed my world recently. After spending most of my life battling burn-out and low mental health, this self-discovery finally opened my eyes to the truth - I simply needed different forms of self-care to the kinds I was already practicing. I was never filling my own cup, and so I was often merely existing, barely functioning. I dec...
Cosy 500-year-old Cottage Tour in England's Prettiest Town - Burford, The Cotswolds

Come and have a look around this cosy Cotswolds cottage in the beautiful town of Burford, Oxfordshire. I was lucky enough to stay in this 16th century cottage for my birthday last week, and thought I'd show you around whilst I was there. The cottage was full of original features, including beautiful beams, lime plastered walls and exposed Cotswold stone. You can book the cottage here: www.snugr...

Autumn Beginnings | Finding The Balance Between Slow Living and Adventure - Vlog 1
มุมมอง 14K2 ปีที่แล้ว
It's been a while! So much has happened since my last vlog, and while I plan to resume making more curated videos again (and do a full update on all the changes that have taken place in my life as of late) in the mean time, I wanted to share this chaotic little glimpse into the last few months. This year, it's been my ambition to find that elusive sweet spot between slow living and giving way t...
I started crying when the cows that were closest to you turned their heads up so they could face you, and at the same time. for some reason I found this so beautiful.
I can quite relate… love to rest, have no appointments and just being at home, making art or being in nature… but I also know the feeling getting restless… and then I love to meet friends… so I think a balance is natural and I guess you can drive by car somewhere or to his parents??? Enjoy this stunning nature…❤ for me nature gives me the most but a few people around me makes me feel comfortable to be honest
My mums family (I was born and lived there for 4 years) are from Pembrokeshire my dads Blaenavon I have not been back to Pembrokeshire since I was about 9yrs but did visit Blaenavon a few years ago. I also moved most of my life even after marrying but ended up here in Tasmania and now feel for the first time in years ver fifty years settled in my Welsh soul. I love your videos the cottage is gorgeous yes winters are dark dreary but spring is always just around the corner. All the best from Tasmania
it was heartwarming❤❤
Beautiful video! The landscape is breathtaking! I could easily live there and soak it all in. Great job! I wish you well!
I just subscribed after watching a few videos and I can't begin to tell you how much my girlfriend and I envy your guys' decision to move. Would love to do the same exact thing, but just don't know how to take the plunge. Did you guys have any career sacrifices? How were you able to swing the move financially? Do you both work remote?
Thank you so much for this video that you have carefully put together. Really grateful. I'm healing at the moment, so these sounds of nature are just perfect xx
What a beautiful and hopeful video. Thank you
Thank you Beth. If it’s ok I shall use this as a meditation sometime, the stream of water sound is so evocative. We have a path behind our Barn where the grandchildren go to find the Gruffalo cave and the Fairy Glen, as they’ve named those places. Go well as the days darken and the nights deepen.
Thank you for this calming video. The sound of flowing water is sooo relaxing. x
Thank you for this magical video 💚I can absolutely imagine faeries and water spirits living here, with their little bank vole companions scurrying along the stream...
Ohh I love videos like this! This made my brain shush for a minute ❤ I could hear your neighbours a few times 🤭🐄🐄 You captured the essence of Welsh wilderness so beautifully. Gloomy and magical and slightly eerie ✨

Thank you so much for bring us to this enchanting place! I've been ill and on bed rest so it's been too hard for me to get outside to film myself, this video takes me right out to be with the faeries again, such a soothing and beautiful morning. 💜💙💜💙

Absolutely beautiful, almost fell asleep watching the video, it's now saved in my favorites. Thank You.
So relaxing Beth this will be watched over and over ❤
I needed this too. Woke up in the middle of the night with thoughts racing. I turned on my IPad and there was your beautiful video to calm my thoughts and to enjoy all the beauty of nature. The fairy stream is indeed magical. Watching this without many thoughts was a meditation for me. Helped me to realize and appreciate the really important things in life and gave me a renewed energy to move forward. The spider web was spectacular! My ancestors are Welsh, I live in USA, and have always felt a deep yearning to visit Wales, hope to someday. It seems magical that this wonderful video popped up tonight. Thank you Beth.
This video is therapeutic.
Life has its very own ways of showing you what you need. I needed this right now. Bless you, Beth!

Can't describe in any other way than DAMN IT'S PEACEFUL!!!
Hello, i found you today and subscribed. My ancestors come from Wales. I have wanted to see the countryside and really see what it's like. I am from Wyoming USA. We have long cold winters here. But dry. We don't have humidity. Tons of snow, but it's dry. I lived in Germany for 5 years. So I understand the coldness of humidity. It's very beautiful in Wales. Thank you for showing us!

Does everyone who moves to remote country places automatically start wearing frilly pastoral or checked dresses, with chunky boots of course) or wellies and wandering through the fields to soft music. Good on them, but yet another "stage set" lifestyle blog of which I've seen many.
Absolutely beautiful cinematography as always! UK countryside is so eerie and mysterious. I can just picture a dinky little pub out there in the misty moors, filled with gnomes and hobgoblins.
Similar thing happened to me in the UK with neighbours - but it was about pruning trees in my garden. Constant harassment. It seems that everyone on that lane was afraid of tall trees. Moved to the countryside to be an antisocial hermit… ended up as the main character in my neighbours' lives.
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤😊😊😊
What a lovely home!
Oh how I would love this!
Beautiful. Peaceful. Thank you for sharing.
I wonder how these people find these remite places are they rimsnticizing.or whatever
Such beautiful calming energy in your videos, Beth. Listening to you chat to the camera feels like I could be right there chatting with you, your personality reminds me of myself in many ways, hehe, and it makes me happy to feel a kindred spirit! Thanks for the little push of inspiration too, I have so many art projects I want to do this month also but often find myself stuck for fear of failure - so I understand all too well. Time to break down some personal walls and move forward with creating. 🥰
The birds in your garden are glorious!!!
This is just beautiful, Beth. Thank you for sharing these special days with us. I find the surrounding peace inspiring, and also the peace within you shines through. I hope you find comfort within these cold and sometimes bleak November days and I also hope you will find something special to inspire you every day. with love from the Hampshire countryside xx
