Great painting! I would distress the table by either using two other color, gray and a cashew color maybe to calm down the bright white. Drift wood sort of look or sand the edges to bring back the dark stain under the white. My husband puts all the wrong utensils in my crock as well. lol
I am the same way!! But I don’t tell my husband he put things in the wrong spot. I just move when he is not looking I don’t want him to stop helping altogether :)

I found that Hearth and Hand fig tree on clearance yesterday at Target. I was so excited because it was sold out online. I love the olive tree, definitely considering getting it too! You can never have enough faux plants!!
I have a idea for your table. Make a shiplap top the exact size of the glass (you probably have some scraps) and insert it in the middle. You might need to figure out how to secure from underneath but it might look great that way.. That way the bottom won't show..

I just changed my faucet to an all matte black one on Amazon. It was only $60 on sale. I was just thinking that your kitchen is the same color scheme and I had a silver faucet before, like you do now, and this black one just really made my kitchen pop and come together. It would match your chandelier so well!
The coffee table looks pretty in white. Think I'd paint the inside all white as well. Give it a few days, think once you get it styled it won't look so white.

You could put a dark wax over the white so it isn’t so bright also maybe you could paint the black on the bottom so it doesn’t look so busy just a thought😊
Maybe if you found the color of your couches it would blend better. Or if you paint it the green like the doors. Those are just some suggestions. You do what you want.

You should have used chalk paint to paint your table, because you wouldn’t have had to primer the table. Once you use the chalk paint then you apply a dark was and wipe it off and you would have got a great farm house look.
I wrap the paint brushes in cellophane and put them in zip lock cause I don’t know how long before I am able to get back to the project. It doesn’t take long to thaw. At one time there were more paint brushes in my freezer than food. Yikes!
Hi Jessica! LOVE. the bee sign. Doing my dining room with the Rae Dunn bee things! Let me tell you Wayfair has some really inexpensive coffee tables as well as Pier One. I bought my daughter one from Pier One online and with the free shipping and big sale it was only around $135. She’s moving out in a week and getting her first apartment ;) But lots of cute ones that won’t break the bank and really will go with your side tables. Once you put the decor on it may look different to you. Or you could re-stain it to match the color of your other tables. My husband isn’t bad with the utensils, it’s not putting the towels in the linen closet with the folded edges the same that drives me crazy!🤣

I think at this point it' may be worth a try to see if it melds better with your style. Also a wax may take that bright white down a notch I might try that too before painting the legs. Just a few ideas for you.

Switch the glass insert for wood or bead board or something like that. Safer for kids and more suited to your decor

when she paint the coffee table, before she paint, she must put cloth under that table in case if paint is dripping on the floor.
I use an old toothbrush to clean stubborn corners.

You should've used milk paint or a color that was closest to the color of your other furniture to keep it uniform
