I will be making a full video talking about the difference very soon. In the meantime see below for a brief summary
Study Visa & Student Permit is different but this application is for both of them. When you apply for the student visa, this is what you get in your passport. Student visa allows you to travel back and forth to Canada while you are a student.
The student permit is what you will get when you first land in Canada with your student visa. The immigration officer will give you a government issued paper with “student Permit” listed at the top. The student Permit will allow you to actually study while you are here and it will also highlight the restrictions(if any) on this paper.

Hi, I have applied for my student visa on 29th may and i got my biometric instruction letter,but today is 07th june my spouse applying for open work permit in same gc key portal and not received his biometric instruction letter, what should i do?

I have an issue with my study permit application, I provided my biometrics on June 10th at the VFS Global. However, when I check my IRCC account, it still shows a request for my biometrics, even after eleven days.

Hello, the study permit application process does no longer require IMM forms to be filled in this new way. i tried but couldn't find any forms in the supporting documents site
Hie, my flight school does not require me to have IELTS on admission,however there is an aviation English proficiency test am required to write only if i arrive at the school in Canada. Question is, can I submit my visa application without IELTS?

Hi Sasha, I have a question but it has to do with Niagara College. Initially in my application, I did submit my documents. But I've been recently emailed by the international division of the school and was given a link to submit my documents once again. Do you think I should go ahead to do this or is it something I should be worried about?
First of all, just confirm that the email is from Niagara college and not a spam. If it is from Niagara college then go ahead and submit your documents to them. I’d advise giving them a call first to be 100 percent sure if they need them or was the email sent in error.

Yes, you can save and continue your document for up to 60 days after you first start your application

I am so sorry but I do not know the wait period or if the application is the same for the re-application. I’d suggest going through an agency if you are reapplying

You have to clear your browsers after logging out each time then sign back in. The website is very sensitive and there to protect your information.

Hello, you can go on google and use something called “I love pdf” to combined all your files to one file so you can upload it

Hello, yes you have to get accepted in the college/university before applying. You will need to upload your acceptance letter.

Hey Sasha! Where do we do the biometric? And do we do it before or after you fill out the application?
Hey! So you do the biometric (fingerprint) after you have submitted the application. Once you pay for the application with he biometric (if needed) then they will send you and email based on you contact email you have when you were setting up the GCKey with the instructions to go do the biometric in your home country.

You go to nearest vfs and you first do visa application its step by step, when it's time of biometrics they inform you and its the final stage

It depends on your country and what you are applying for. If it’s for school then it would be needed based on the course you are applying for of if your country’s first language isn’t English

You can use many websites to merge documents. I use “ilovepdf” but that’s only my preference
