Riding the R1150 GS for some photos using the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 L mount lens.

I take the BMW GS for the first ride of the year to take some photographs using my new Sigma 70-200 f2.8 Lens on my Panasonic Lumix S5.
I'm learning photography so every minute spent is experienced gained, and luckily for me I met a fellow BMW rider and his wife who has a degree in photography who were happy to share some experience.
I also notice the R1150 GS is a bit more responsive that usual so the R1200 Injector upgrade certainly helped breath some new life in to the old engine.

Thanks for watching! The GoPro faff proper threw me off, but I had an enjoyable ride out so it wasn't a wasted journey. It's amazing the difference in how the bike is running - it's so smooth! For future vids of this kind , I'll be only taking a max of 3 pictures per location so that I can get more riding done.
I love riding this bike and I love engaging with people I meet out and about!

It’s terrible mate, and what winds me up the most is there’s a recycling centre not too far from there and they’ll take everything that was dumped there so there’s no excuse for it.
Oooh yeeeah! They’re great machines, you should get one and like, tour Europe while making epic historical content or something 🤭😆

It is the injectors. I did the same on my GS 1150 Adventure with only 20.000 km on it and it was OK before, but the injectors really made a big difference. The bike rides much more cultivated, it’s more responsive, needs less fuel and vibrates less. Completely new experience. I love the update.

So what old sports car are you thinking? We talking old hot hatch? Something a bit more coupe like appearance? Or maybe something with a legendary status like say Cosworth?

Cheers dude! I was so close to putting the bike away and going back to bed because of the nightmare I had before I even started the bike, but I had to take advantage of the little bit of dry weather so I had a nice little ride it's a bit more experience in the bank 😄. lets hope there's some dry weather again next weekend!!

Awesome video… I will suggest u take on the insta 360 Ace Pro. From reviews it seems to be better in all ramifications than the GoPro.
For the response, it’s the injectors. So, I had mine injectors upgraded to the 1200 and added K&N filter and added John Gemi chip and the bike is just super responsive. And I am loving it. Although, the Hall Sensor got it down for a while. Hoping for it to back up soon. But this bike is lovely.

Yes I completely agree! Insta 360 seem to be leading the way at the moment and I'm 100% sure my next action cam will be the Insta unless GoPro really pull something special out of the bag 😄

Did you upgrade the injectors to those from the 1200? If so, would you say they are a decent upgrade from the original ones? I had them on my r 1100 gs, thing was a hoot. Got myself a 1150 gs now and im considering it again. Haven't driven it yet because its in my mates house in another country haha

I certainly have upgraded to the 1200 injectors and noticed a change.
The bike feels more responsive and is smoother as well. I noticed on the first ride out that the bike wasn’t very responsive so took a gamble on the injectors and it paid off.
I really like the R1100 GS and would like to get one in the future as I really enjoyed playing with this 1150, so I now have the boxer engine addiction haha!
