dont bother trying these methods out, if your files have a little x next to them they have been corrupted. You should redownload them from a different source, they’ll work after that.
Where else can you download them from that's a free site ?

You are true legend in my eyes
I did not have any corrupted files. I tried method one from the above video. Success!
Thanks so much for your video! It helped me a lot 👍
How many vids have I watched and no one knows how to fix it. I did NOT get a "read only" option. I am getting BURNER IS BUSY. No one addresses this. Tired of this shit! I give up!
Same here
For those of you who still have the problem:
I had the same situation. Check if Windows Media Player shows the length of the file. If not:
1. Go to file location
2. Rightclick the song you want to burn
3. Click ‘Add to Windows Media Player List’
4. Add all the other songs
5. The songs will be shown at the right hand side as a playlist
6. Click on ‘ Burn’ at the top
7. Click on ‘Import Unsaved list’
8. Should work now
Hope I could help. Took me a while to find out how to find a solution
My error details box reads "it is not possible to determine if this file can fit on a disc because WMP cannot detect the length of the file. Playing the file before burning might enable the player to detect the file length". Under the MP3 s that can't be burned I noticed the file length is 0:00 & I can't scroll through to different parts of the song on WMP. If anyone knows a hack to this problem I would greatly appreciate it
omg i am having the same problem. this just started and is so frustrating,i am not very computer savy to begin with so this really is a problem did u get it fixed by the way ?
@@brawyn777 just eent 2 a different website 2 d/l the songs. I think where i originally d/loaded songs files were corrupt
@@edub9930 just followed the video, nothing works, i downloaded songs from youtube and used youtube to mp3 converter, all song are showing a red x on them, i just can't use the media player at all annymore, i am completely stumped, going to try ashampoo free i think
@@brawyn777 The same thing has happened to me too, Emily. I have tried all of these suggestions in the video and all the the MP3 files I wanted to burn have a white "x" within a red dot.

Thanks. That was awesome bro
terima kasih banyak. sangat membantu
none worked
Could you make a video that can fix mp3 files that have no length??
I found that having VBR mp3s was the cause for me. I used an mp3 tag program (tag&rename) to determine which files were VBR and removed them -- worked right away.
my dvd didn,t read failed burn disc
I love your music in the back ground. Can we have the name to it. 😊
Revert back to your original settings and see if it makes diffrerence
nothing works , when I send the music to burn appears X in front of the song

@@senxo3296 no, last thing I'm need to reinstall windows 🤣

None of this worked. I will probably end up actually buying software to fix the issue. ...just not windows media player.

Every single one has the Red x so method 3 is sooo stupid
That's the same problem I'm having right now and I'm trying to fix it
@@The868aaron same 🙄🙄
recorder busy
my recorder is asus
To my knowledge, these methods do not always work. Try re-downloading the songs instead.
In my case, there are entire albums that the time is missing.I've downloaded over before, but enough is enough. This isn't just once a year. I have bookoo music, and I have corrupt files that I have replaced @ least once.some more.I think WMP sucks! I am going to try VLC.
Not even a single one worked! 😠
TOTAL FAILURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
