What a beautiful village. How did they have the heart to abandon it?

I was very early. I am sure it will be more lively if you go later.

I was there in a late afternoon in March this year. As soon as I parked my car at the entrance of the village and got off, a dog suddenly came out of the village, barking but not particularly aggressive. The village looked like some sort of gated community and was eerily quiet at that time, and I took the hint. So I just stepped back, took a few pictures from the car park, and drove back. The dog didn't even bother me once after I turned back but I noticed being silently watched by him until I was well out of sight. I assume Timo had to stay in the van because of him?
By the way, this village is where some of the scenes of 2011 comedy "Entelköy Efeköy'e Karşı" were shot. The film is a great portrayal of the cultural clash between a group of eco-minded "back to the land" bohos and the local villagers.

Wow, wat a story. I never saw a dog. But just in case of dogs I leave Timo in the car. Don't want no trouble.

Wow? That place is fabulous fabulous Ellis, you saw us some stunning places. Please tell me though, how come nobody about, did you have to pay to go in because if nobody lives there someone must maintain all of the gardens and pots? 🤔

They do live there but I was extremely early. I like to have a place to myself. The place has a high level of protection, not just the buildings. Hence the name museum village.
