:) I have fond memories of it, but I haven't actually missed having it around. It was replaced and just not needed anymore. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat if I needed another one.
@bennieaust you could have kept it around.....$15K doesn't make too much difference in the big picture. Now, someone else is driving your X ... After all, she was fateful to you...
They have Lexus in Minnesota???? I was in Twin Cities last month and could hardly see any Lexus or BMW or Mercedes on the road.... mainly the typical American cars on the road.... unlike here in CALIFORNIA, where you sed Lexus every where.....there are as many Lexus on the road as there are Starbucks and McDonald's.... in Los Angeles, there are more Lexus on the road than one can count....
My right side manifold failed at the front edge of the front port. I don’t know if they all fail right there or not, but stick you head in there with it running and the noise will tell you. Also it will be black with carbon around the leak.
@@LLCoolPass yes, also there is a heat shield you will probably have to remove to see the whole manifold. It's tight but you can get access through the wheel well. I did the repair on mine with only removing the wheel, wheel liner flaps and the heat shield.
@@Mark-jc1qj it was a joke man, jeeps get A LOT of wind noise especially soft top ones. On a side note though I always read how the GX is bulletproof and Lexus reliability but yet there are always people breaking down or breaking stuff on a regular basis.
Great last date. As they say, goes something like this.....takes to lose something to appreciate something.... Don't cry.. 😢

Just mine :)
How to spot the point of failure in manifold?

If you want a really quiet SUV get a soft top Jeep with an aftermarket top. You're welcome.
Thanks for the tip! :)
And when the Jeep breaks down, it'll really be quiet 😂

Hahahaha! Only an idiot would take a Jeep over a Lexus! Are you high?
Your audio recording suffers from too much wind noise, as I am sure your aware, makes. This video not worth watching,
Thanks for your feedback.
I watched this video today, and got some very useful information from it.
