You seem to be the most knowledgeable host out all the media review channels I frequent and I was hoping you'd know the status of Blu-ray release of the vintage sci-fi film ROBOT MONSTER (1953). It was set for a March 2022 release, however here we are in January of 2023 and the only copy I have is my crappy 24 year-old Alpha video "budget" DVD. So, do you know whether or not Robot Monster make it onto Blu-ray?
I have all but Glory and Lone Survivor. I have the blu ray version of We were Soldiers and will buy Glory since I seen it in the store last week. What about Masters and Command. I also have The Pacific and Band of Brothers. The Guns Of Navorone I did not like because I read the book
Midway is such a weird movie. Extreme attention to historical accuracy but the green screen makes it look fake. For me the look makes it hard to really get in to it. Of these 10 movies I would pick Black Hawk Down as a favorite, For favorite war movie I would say a few European movies as The Unknown Soldier (2017). The King’s Choice (2016). They give a different perspective not always seen.
Midway was So Disappointing! The acting and script were So unbelievably bad, that I couldn’t take it seriously. They really should’ve done the battle more justice! Spielberg and Hanks should’ve done it, it would’ve been epic! Not to mention how fake everything looked. Far too much CGI! And not even Good CGI. Garbage. Hacksaw and 1917 should be higher on the list. Definitely above the forgettable 13 Hours. Where is Fury and Dunkirk?!! Those 2 should push the crappy Midway and the mediocre 13 Hours off the list entirely. Band of Brothers is great! You need to see Spielberg and Hanks follow up miniseries “The Pacific”!!
Lone Survivor and the modern Midway above The Great Escape?? I dont think so Hacksaw Ridge To me, Hacksaw is the best WW2 because its based on the extraordinary life of a true hero in the war. Its not hateful propaganda. Putting a Michael Bay attempt at a war film above this masterpiece? I don't think so. We Were Soldiers Saving Private Ryan Black Hawk Down Apocalypse Now The Longest Day The Paths of Glory Platoon American Sniper Full Metal Jacket I want to see a movie based on the great Christmas truce of 1914. Of course, I have seen the truth in Europa The Last Battle
American Sniper, Deer Hunter, Zero Dark Thirty, Outpost, Tora Tora Tora, Patton, Downfall, The Pianist, Schindler's List should be mentioned as true stories
Based on you comments you clearly didn’t watch my detailed explanation at the beginning of this video or throughout the video when I explained in detail that MY Top 10 list is contrived of ONLY 4K UHD WAR MOVIES! A bunch of those titles you listed are not available on 4K UHD so they were invalid & completely ineligible for MY list, but they are great films that I wish some of those were released on 4K UHD, another few I love that aren’t available on 4K are A Bridge To Far, The Longest Day, We We’re Soldiers & Defiance. I would love it if a lot more of these Great War films were to get proper 4K restorations & released on 4K UltraHD! The Pianist was such a heart wrenchingly beautiful film!
Each of my exclusive 4K vs Blu Ray comparison video episodes are meticulously created this exact way for a very specific purpose & intentional reason that’s been tested & perfected over 6 years of hard work! I’ve explained previously over the last 5 years that each of my comparison video episodes I create are meant to be intentionally watched on a full size 4K UHD TV! Otherwise if your watching these on a phone or tablet you can’t accurately / correctly display a full native 2160p image correctly anyways with correct color grading & you won’t be able to see the true actual image differences no matter what size the image is in the video because phones & tablets are always not accurate displays because they compress data of the videos & images to lower bit rates & sizes & have drastically different color tones / grades & settings that drastically degrade video image qualities! Every one of these exclusive videos are specifically filmed in 4K & are always meant to be watched on a full 4K tv display that has the TH-cam program set to display full 4K 2160p so that you see the most accurate image comparison presentation with as little degradation as possible! Hope this helps you understand all of this advanced video technology a lot better!👍🤟
NOPE 👎 that movie does NOT qualify in any shape or form! As I explain & covered in detail in this video, this TOP 10 list is to honor those heroes who actually lived & died & were actually in these Heroic Factually Based on True Stories & Events that are depicting true HEROIC epic WAR Movies! Apocalypse Now is not factually based on any true event, true characters & is NOT a true story or have anything actually to do with factual characters & is a NOT 👎 a heroic war movie that’s honoring any REAL HEROES or REAL EVENTS!

To me, Hacksaw is the best WW2 because its based on the extraordinary life of a true hero in the war. Its not hateful propaganda. Putting a Michael Bay attempt at a war film above this masterpiece? I don't think so.
We Were Soldiers
Saving Private Ryan
Black Hawk Down
Apocalypse Now
The Longest Day
The Paths of Glory
Platoon
American Sniper
Full Metal Jacket
I want to see a movie based on the great Christmas truce of 1914.
Hi, have you ever thought about putting a 4K and blu-ray screen side by side in full screen to see the quality comparison even more clearly?
Apocalypse now? 🤷🏻♂️
İ agree with 1/2 but 3? İt is ok but
Will never watch a Michael Bay flick his camera work is nauseating pass on his war flick. Btw WHY isn't the Hurt Locker not on your list?
You might be surprised with 13 Hours. A lot of reviewer's were when it was released.
@@halcyondaystunes yea I gave Ambulance a try the 4k looked Crips and awesome the Atmos also is spectacular but the movie was 30 minutes too long and the camera work again gave me a headache that's why am not a fan of His Transformers.
any list that lacks Das Boot is just short.
Lol!!! HILARIOUS!!! 🤣😂 BTW FYI This isn’t a RANDOM war movie list as is clearly stated & explicitly explained in this video it’s specifically about 4K UltraHD releases & Das Boot isn’t available on 4K UltraHD so therefore it wouldn’t be included on this 4K list! 🤔💬
