Perfect visualization with the harmonic coloring. The harmonies don’t blend smoothly into one another, but they give a contrasting backdrop. Insightful!
Compared to his other pieces, a blessing - but ultimately he can't hold a candle to the harmonizers; I can't judge with certainty whether he is good as an abstract musician, so to speak - I strongly suspect not, unfortunately
@@smalin I like the "yet" part of the sentence. I admit, you would have to take a very big breath before you tackled that long piece, but I think you will find it worth it someday. It was one of the very first classical pieces I fell in love with. It is one of the richest treasure troves of melody in all of music.
From the New York Times: “No original Schoenberg manuscripts were destroyed in the fire. But the loss of Belmont’s collection could create problems for orchestras, chamber music groups and soloists planning performances of Schoenberg’s works in the months ahead. Other Schoenberg memorabilia was also destroyed in the fire, including photographs, letters, posters, books and arrangements by other composers of Schoenberg pieces.” (The manuscripts are mostly held at Vienna, where the risk of wildfire is quite low.)

Well ain't this a surprise. Didn't expect from Mr. Mailowski to upload a Schoenberg video
@@kneza96BG I’ve begun work on a couple of others, but this is the first I’ve completed (because of the fire).
Have you ever considered visualizing "Verklarte Nacht"/Transfigured Night? It would be a LOT of work, but it would be good.
@@rineric3214 I have considered it. I decided I wasn’t up to it yet.

Ooh like this animation a lot
Almost seems like that they are hovering over the background
Un décor harmonieux pour une musique dysfonctionnelle ; cela constitue un vrai contrepoint.
