I think the biggest supporter was Kakashi, he even told Obito how Rin seemed pretty lonely on her birthday, that should have been a hint to obito to spend time with her on her birthday even if they are friends

Kakashi is considered that because in his old team prior to Naruto's, he was the kid that was exceptionally skilled and a prodigy. He was also apparently quite a jerk and was popular with girls. So yeah he was basically the Sasuke which is ironic since Obito is considered the Naruto of the group even though he's an Uchiha.

Kakashi is considered that because in his old team prior to Naruto's, he was the kid that was exceptionally skilled and a prodigy. He was also apparently quite a jerk and was popular with girls. So yeah he was basically the Sasuke which is ironic since Obito is considered the Naruto of the group even though he's an Uchiha.
