    I used the aiaiai tma-2 studio with a fio amp with a bass boost. I wasn't expecting it but it became a subwoofer on your head. On to of that sound quality at higher frequencies is superb.

    I ordered the maxwell too. But for bass...fun bass I mean..then the crusher evos hands down. Feels like u are in a club. Other audiophile type of bass is not like fun type of sub bass. The crusher evos with that vibration thingy really gives an illusion of hard thumping sub woofer bass on your ears.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right on, so far of everything I looked into the Crusher Evo are the most likely pick.

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews the original crusher wireless is a mess. Too muddy and the bass vibrates at every bass note. The next iteration is the crusher 360. And then now the crusher evos. The evos are the best.

    Corsair HS60 have haptic feedback that is much better than what Razer uses (so I've read but they also seem cheapo). Vzr model one, which I have, are great. I felt my ears vibrating from the Dolby Atmos demo when the thunder plays (stock EQ). These dig DEEP. I don't want to oversell the VZRs but they definitely have quality bass (better than any beyerdynamic I've tried like the mmx300 with stock pads). I've tried the Penrose too but the VZRs definitely have better bass.

    VZR model one has amazing bass, comfy sound as crazy as it sounds, its not in your face while being clear, more bass than razer blackshark v2 without sounding muddy. But over all sound, penrose is better other than bass. Ordered maxwell as well cant wait for it

    • @biggesttboss

      VZR I would describe as "easy" to listen to. Mids and highs take a backseat, so you're able to crank the volume up for long gaming sessions without the discomfort. Sounded dark but I eventually got used to them.

    For what I've used, IQ Podz 06 are the bassiest. I know they are earbuds, but they offer superb sound quality and most importantly, bass.

    The real question is what playlist do you use to test? I nominate 'Joy' by Missy Elliot (with Mike Jones). You gotta skip about 1:34s to get past the skit but that is my go to song for testing bass.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure, the drop in that is nice!
      I listen to mostly phonk and some older rap so some of my main songs to test with are:
      Mistah FAB - Super Sic Wit It
      E-40 - Tell Me When to Go
      Dxrk - Betrayed
      Dxrk - Cyanide
      CYREX - Swaggin'

    Look at the Creative Aurvana Live! SE. It's one heck of a little headphone for the price with excellent bass. If you like that, you can jump up to it's bigger and much more expensive bass cannon cousin, the E-Mu Teak.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I put em on my list!

    • @brianm2850
      @brianm2850 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews it's best to look for the E-Mu Teak on the used market for $300-$400 via Head-Fi/Reddit/eBay. Also, it's Fostex brother, the TR-X00, would do as bass cannons at the same price on the used market.
      There are different wood cups for the TR-X00. Ebony cups are better than the Mahogany cups. Avoid the Purpleheart cups.
      If that's too pricey, just get the CAL! SE I talked about previously. It has amazing fun and punchy bass. The price to performance ratio is shocking.

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews I've got them, and the way I personally feel about their sound is pretty much the same as your thoughts on the MDR-XB550AP. Very muffled and hard to pick out instruments and vocals. Sure, the bass is more prominent, but it's not booming or anything (more like buzzing) and I feel it doesn't justify the lack in clarity. Listening to your video with them, the bass and muffled sound makes your voice sound like it has an echo to it. (I mainly use the HyperX Cloud Alpha)

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews I’m no headphone pro and only own a few pairs so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I own the Astro A40, hyperx cloud alpha and vzr. I enjoy both the A40 and cloud alpha but the vrz compared to them is crisper and clearer. (as it should for how much more it cost). I just got them a few days ago tho and as far as base goes I haven’t truly tested it yet. I’ve only played some fps with the headset so far so I can’t give you a true answer. Maybe I’ll follow up once I get some more use in with them

      @@BadIntentStreamTechReviews the bass on the VZR is very deep and a lot of bass but clean. I have them and I also have Penrose. I love the Penrose, I mean it could be better, hopefully with the Maxwell, but let me tell you that I literally can't put the VZR model ones down. And ad far as gaming, they have the best clarity for footsteps and direction sounds and even very subtle sounds. But if u want to use them for gaming fps and footsteps I definitely recommend turning the bass wayy down when gaming as they have a ton more than Penrose. Also the VZR's are extremely extremely comfortable compared to Penrose and others.
