What he said about the old Saints concealing their vulnerability before God is 100% accurate. I remember when I came to my own fork in the road. One of the first things that made me angry was that I felt lied to. They couldn't tell us tho. They were still figuring it out and they didn't want us not to believe.
Their emotional intelligence was 0 and some had low intelligence so they never really truly had real relationship with God they repeated what they heard.

This was real. I think more christ centered discussions should tackle what happens when we feel "heartbreak" when God's will is done. Definitely went through it when grandma passed from cancer, but he never left me or forsaked me even when I let go. Thank you for the vulnerability guys ❤

Have you ever found it difficult to see God as a father because of the sovereignty of God doctrine? I can understand why it may be hard to accept unexplained deaths or allowing your child to die from sickness, or not healing a sickness. It's a lot to process and can leave you feeling afraid of God. Some days, I feel the same way. I want to serve Him out of love, but I also don't want to anger Him and end up in hell. Based on sovereignty, God can do what He wants, and that can be a little intimidating. What do you think?
He is multidimensional
As much as he’s sovereign , He’s also your father, he died on the cross for you, He’s a lion, he’s a lamb, the earth is his footstool and yet he’s counted every hair on your head. Non falls off without his permission.
He’s God all by himself. A mystery and yet a revelation
No need to fear him being sovereign. He can destroy you but he will not because he’s also merciful
God’s love is too all encompassing, to deep, and too wide, to unexplainable to ever want to be away from you/us for all of eternity.
Becoming a parent has given me a glimpse of this. My child might think, in a moment of not getting what she wants (e.g. eating cake every day) , that I'm not being a good mom. But in that instance, I have to deny something for her greater good or because I know something she doesn't know or understand yet. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
