Gotta love those little mimic minnows. They have a lot of detail for such a small bait. I like putting them on the beetle spin spinners.
I do have a few that they sold like that on a beetle spin. I believe they're a 1/8 oz though. I agree with you Paul the detail is pretty good on them

With that shirt you don't even need bait. Just dip your hook in a water all kinds of fish will bite.
Sucks to hear about your DSG. The ones near my might as well quit. They dont have a great selection of baits and the fishing department is always a mess. Like we've talked about, I really like my Dobyn's Swim bait rod. Especially for an entry level swim bait fisherman like myself. I like the look of those mimic minnows! I have 2 combos that would easily throw those. Those Samatis drop shot baits are one of my favorite drop shot bait. I found them from Monster bass and actually went to their website and bought a big pack of them. Great stuff. White baits are good. And you can always dip them in spike it or whatever to change the color up a bit.
I almost pulled the trigger on the Karls club but then I noticed that in most cases, I wont get to chose what color I want. Just another thing that turns me off from shopping there.

Yeah bummed out about DSG. I'm definitely going to check out that rod that you recommended. I agreed the Samatis baits are really great. I don't know the owner personally but have interactions through other podcasts and very nice dude. It's a gamble with the colors but usually karl's houses most colors fishermen would like to use. So far I've been happy with the colors.

They've been trying but it's been a cat and mouse chase with the FBI. Pretty disappointed in my Dick's sporting goods . It was such a good tackle section.

I grabbed a 7’9 Mfer swim bait rod and I also got a tiger ugly stick I’m a bit on the short side so I always tend to get smaller rods and they work fine for me 😂
I've heard good things about that rod as well. Don't own any rods from the 6th. Not yet anyways. Thanks for the recommendation 👊🏼
That sucks about the Dick's Sporting Goods. The one here did the same thing a few years ago. Great video as always! The new rod looks awesome. I never pulled the trigger on a St. Croix rod. They are nice though.

Never tried the old Knuckle ball from YoZuri. But I like their baits so..may try it. And yeah those fishlab flipping frogs & nymphs are pretty sweet for finesse fishing.
Fish lab has pretty unique baits. They're doing some pretty cool things with their baits. I too have never tried the Yo-zuri 3DB knuckleball as well. Looks pretty interesting.

Sorry to disappoint guys but I HAVE TRIED the knuckle bait. My opinion is that it looks OK in the water, but the ball gets stuck in weeds pretty easily. I only fishing it once or twice. I'm sure something would bite it if you through it in a pond or small lake after putting in some time.
I prefer to throw a regular spinnerbait 100% more for my fishing needs. I think it's cool for at least being unique tho
@@440-fishermandrock8 Yeah I don't think it will be better then a regular spinnerbait. I hear this one's supposed to be fished along the bottom. I'm going to try it out see what it does. Thank you for the feedback 👊🏼

The BIovex baits are good only thing is the gill model is mehhh the minnow/herring model. Has a way better swim probably why it was on sale haha. Id def recommend tho trying the Biovex Joint bait 110 SF they also have other larger or smaller sizes in that bait but. I think they're better than the baby bull gill cause they slowly float and more versatile over all because u can tune them. I still think the Gill model will get bit tho it just doesn't have the best swim thats all.

@@neilbonefishing Yea no problem bro haha and hope u get one on the knuckle prove the guys who say it's a bad bait wrong. I think I forgot to tell u as well that u can turn the ball around and use it like topwater spinner spinner. It pushes a lot of water due to flat surface on other side.
@@SouthJerseyBaitReviews I noticed one of them had the option to turn it around and the other one didn't. I feel confident I will get them fish on it. I'm going to try from top to bottom. 🤙🏻

Terrible that they are taking the fishing section out of dicks. I know they have the "disount store" in philadelphia but that store sux. I'm assuming the store will likely close next. No clue why they would remove that fishing section.,
