Well, you got your wish ! Renegade games just announced 4 more expansions ! (Vanguard Strike, Midnight Storm, Chaos Break and Sgt Slaughter char.) I really like the theme and love this game. So simple, but soooo tactical. But beware, this game is alpha gamers paradise. I prefer to solo it with 3 char., just like this playthrough. I didn't particularly found it difficult, though. Hopefully the expansion will mitigate this a little better. Thanks for the partial playthrough Colin 😊

I find Mission Critical is much easier with 3 characters than Heroes of the Grid is. Really like this one as well (Love HotG) can't wait for the new content
That would be an interesting twist to add something more to the game. Perhaps an AI deck that controls heros? I guess a lot of decision space when dice a rolled when to use abilities and certain types of cards but not an impossible task.

Seems like you managed three pretty well. It is a little bit on the dear side but I am quite tempted to dive into it as it is now available in retail in Australia. Thanks for showing it off!
When do the actions reset? Is it when you go to the middle to ‘refresh’ or ‘recover’? Honestly it’s the only thing that isn’t clear to me. I usually play with 4 or 5 people so our characters get two actions and I don’t think it says anywhere what to do when you’ve used them both.
Once you have used both actions that’s when u do the next round of deployment, then u can flip ur action tokens back over and u can use them to move or to recharge or start the new battle.
Question instead of buying heroes of the grid base game right out of the gate.could I just buy one of the big box expansions and fold it into this to get a feel for it

Love the game solo, hate its price (and the reason for that - a lot of useless plastic) and cooperation (huge downtime during battles). If it was made with tokens instead of minis and with theme I like more (I have both Power Rangers and GI Joe, but they were not huge in here and I don't care much about theme) then it would be a blast.
Nice explanation and playthrough. Why Renegade chose a space station battle area is a little odd. Rattler attack in space? Is this a holdover from the Power Rangers game or just bad thematic design?

After looking at the PR version, it looks like they use all ground locations. It seems like this is just bad thematic design here. Imagine the Joes hauling ground vehicles to a space station? Perhaps I'm being overly critical, but it just seems like an unnecessary break of game immersion. I'm guessing future expansions change the game tiles?
Just defeated destroy what an awesome time I had.didn't think this game mechanics had enough design space.but I've been looking over the power rangers version and its expansions and now I want all of them as well,and I'm not even a die hard rangers fan.not sure how much the upcoming expansions for this are going to be cut and paste though

10:41 if i am not mistaken, the fast cards you draw always go to the 1st, if there is a fast card there, it is pushed to the right.
I'm not sure what you mean? I moved the fast cards over didn't i?
@@OneStopCoopShop If you draw a second fast card you move the first card to spot number 2. You kept the frist fast on the first spot.

Love any Guardian System game content. Thanks! FYI: only attacks are affected by GUARD. MOBAT is not an attack so it can hit anything you choose.
Also Cobra Charge doesn't say "other" foot soldier. It never deals 1 b/c it counts ALL foot soldiers (figures) in the location.

I think I've been playing wrong.I've been taking a hero turn after the 4th card in the top row in between resolving the bottom row of cards
