    Amazing collection sir! Are you an Indian and a Bengali? Superb collection. Have you ever tried an ST Dupont Line D or Caran D'Ache Leman? Just inquisitive

      Thank you so much! Yup, proud Indian. I am a punjabi based in Haryana. I havent tried SD Dupont bt a lot of people have commented great things abt their pens. I want to try them. Do you have any of them? I would love to hear your reviews. For Caran D'ache, I find them to be pretty expensive for me as of now. For my collection, I want to focus on pens that can also work as investments.

      @@Ali4451_ I am planning to buy Namiki Emperor and another Visconti Homo Sapiens. And after that only MB limited editions. After these initial ones, I now want to use the collection as an investment. So MB limited Edition seem to be the best choices.

      @@Soon2berich very interesting. Thanks. The Emperor is a fascinating one. I enjoy your videos. They are more analytical than most and your framework for evaluating pens is a good one. Keep up the good work.

    It seems to me that your MB149 has a dud nib. Have it checked out by MB if still in warranty or otherwise have it looked at by a nibmeister. Smoothness and feedback should be on part with other MBs in your collection.

    • @Soon2berich
      @Soon2berich  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually had it checked. No issues with the nib. I dnt find Montblanc nibs to be as good as others. I have 4 of them and I have issues with 3.

    Hello there, interesting take on your collection and how you rate them personally. i do believe at the end of the day the best fountain pen would be the one that you would use the most and from your closing statement that wounded being the M800. Interesting take on the custom urushi though where the smoothness and feedback is clearly dependent upon how much pressure you apply especially since the custom urushi is the largest and "soft and bouncy" among your entire collection. The wetness is also dependent upon your nib variation which i am not sure if you mentioned if it was a FM, M or B?

    • @Soon2berich
      @Soon2berich  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most of these pens have medium sized nibs except for Visconti and I usually write with very little to medium pressure. Smoothness is not so much dependent on the pressure as on nib size and craftsmanship.
      I prefer to use Visconti most often due to line height in my notebook. As Visconti HomoSapiens is EF, its easier to write in the tighter lines. For larger notebooks, I prefer M800. I also love to write with MB Rouge ET Noir but as it is made of sterling silver, it darkens the ink color. I used to write a lot with Sailor KOP but even with light pressure, its tines used to tilt after a few pages. So now I dont write with it much.

      @@Soon2berich I do have similarities to your collection that being the custom urushi, montblanc heritage, M800, Sailor KOP, different color scheme and all, my nib for CU is an FM, so it's less wetter than a Medium, but it's one of my favorite pen in my collection. where I don't really see an equal to its writing style as compared to any of the size 8/9 nibs out there. I believe pilot has created a nib that is like a grand sekio but not the highest end GS but top of range sekio but it's still a GS in any sense. (This is just my analogy) pilot has now deployed this size 30nib to their namiki Aya range of pen. Cheers:)

      @@Govinkunawow... Tell me more abt your collection. How are the other pens?
      You are right abt CU....it is the most premium pilot bt still something feels lacking. I want to buy a Namiki emperor soon.
      How your M800? Does it have a chalk like feeling? I dnt know why I feel that the ink from my M800 dries very fast. Its pretty wet bt dries fast too. Doesnt make sense....bt thats how it is.
      Hows the MB Heritage? Do you also see the ink turn a bit blackish or darkish in it?

      @@Soon2berich I have these as well apart from those I've mentioned earlier, MB Egyptomania in fine, Namiki Yukari Royale in medium, Delta DB ver2.0 in fine, another LE delta in medium, two pilot 823 in fine and medium, pilot 845 in fine, pilot 743 in stub, Platinum izumo in Board, Waterman carene in fine, and other brands that are more of my play around pens.

      @@Soon2berich Namiki emperor I would highly recommend you get to try it out first as it's a size 50 nib which I would say isn't for everyone frankly, the distance from paper to you holding the pen is a different feel on its own.. Takes time to adjust.. If you just want to have it in ur collection, Noone Is stopping you as well.
