I am glad *most* of you enjoyed my remaster! I remember years ago loving this song but felt it sounded flat, and that there were elements that were hard to hear. A few mentioned that it just sounds echo-y, regarding that- I added reverb because I felt it made the music feel fuller and more immersive. I have always viewed the Battlefield stage, music, and background as a complete removal from reality, and I still love that feeling to this day. Modern video game music is much less creative now than it was in the 2000's. Gone are the days where you turn on your console, pop in the game, and it is what it is. Just you and the game. We now have required updates, near 24/7 internet connection, and many surprises are gone with game info being a click away. These things were inevitable, but... some could and should be handled better. When we buy something, it should be ours- there should not be an expiration on how long we can download a digital copy of a game, there should not be a mandatory massive download when we first insert our new game disk, or a laundry list of required accounts and agreements. These are the opposite of what Melee Battlefield is. An endless, timeless, nostalgic space platform that will always be accessible through your tiny disk- until it gets scratched to the Moon and back, or literally rots away. Cheers.
@Francisco Universe Oh that's funny cuz, I thought it was to please all of these transnational corporations, when they make idiotic decisions, and don't want to allow the wide public to know how bad their ideas are via dislikes.
@@cubemaster3488 The battlefield theme is actually a version of Melee main menu theme. Melee main menu theme is for many one of the main theme songs for the entire franchise, including me.

Well said!
1:14 where the percussion kicks in is sick. Glad that was brought out more.
There’s a good ass reason this has no dislikes.
@Joshua West listen I dunno man
Now the no dislikes is forced where you can't see it
same pfp
Only nine now

That moment is legendary
The reverb was dialed up and im all for it!
Seems like yea
"Wah, Ho-hoo, yehaw!"
"Heeyah!"
This is great. :)
Thanks! It was one of my favorite songs when I was younger, but it always seemed a little flat to me.
This needs more views.
This one is much better than the brawl one.
I personally disagree, but it is fine, if you have a different opinion than me.
It's okay to be wrong sometimes.
Underrated theme
It's not. It is recognized as one of the best original soundtracks in video game history by many.
@@Minisynapse i mean the final destination is always in the middle, battlefield is most of the time in the background and get ignored.

@@Minisynapse i know, was the best thing back then.

Yes this one's better not even a smash brawl

Never noticed how the background always stays dark in Classic and Adventure Mode
This Is a Remake of the Melee Menu 1
You can just taste the old salt
Melee version X Brawl version ?
Yeh i would love that

Someone actually did that
Equally as good as Final Destination

I made it myself, I didn't get it from anywhere
This soundtrack sounds like it belongs in a newsroom.
Anyone else hear it?
