Back in the day, Snowshoe didn't run the Western chair except on race weekends, so we always shuttled in one of those buses (either long or short) with a twenty two bike trailer in drag. The quintesential Snowshoe experience was to ride "Cary's (the driver) short bus, haulin ass up the mountain, doors wide open and jamming out to very, very loud AC/DC". The good old days really were good. You would have loved it !
I'm sitting here amazed at how you are marveling over a typical American school bus pretty much everyone in the US has ridden in more times than they care to remember. It's so cool to watch you guys racing on sections I raced on 20 years ago. Those rock sections didn't seem all that crazy when we raced on them, but rocks like that are typical of trails in the mid-Atlantic/Northeast area.
Blows my mind the difference between first practice speed, and timed practice speed. Here I am thinking they are all flying through during practice but he has so much left in the tank. And it's not even full race speed! 🤯🤯 well done Bernard 👏

Sad to say they put you on a smaller school bus here in America, that's a 70 passenger bus, I went to school on a 90 passenger bus, they do get bigger.

He had that climb dialed too. I swear we were on two wheels around the hairpins turns. Never have I seen a short bus railed that hard
