Once again the next gen is proving how much of a force they are to be reckoned with.. Asa Vermette holding onto that is just ridiculous! And Erice Van Luven, she's just built different! Les Gets was the 2nd time she's been in the chopper this year in crashes that would break most people. But each time she's been back racing either the next race or the one after, & the only time she hasn't been in a chopper she's been on the podium, mental! She's just constantly riding at the limit, when she's not crashing she's posting elite times.. As a kiwi it's going to be so sick to see her & Sacha Earnest enter the elites.. Gutted to see Jess Blewitt isnt racing til next year but not surprising, that was a gnarly landing she had, & ankles, heels & archiles are all pretty delicate.. Once again legendary production as always, props to the Bens & the rest of the PB crew.. :)
When World cup Mt bike championships at Snowshoe is the best time of the year with the incredible racing performances it always generates as well as a reminder that the Red Bull Rampage in Utah is not far off in the future now!
Hmmm, I wouldn't be so sure they are racing without pain or anywhere near back to full strength or mobility in the injured part. I've been riding with a weak shoulder for ages and getting faster and hitting some of my best running times with deep heat and ibuprofen.. pros probably get pain killer injections to continue competing. I know it's the case for football. Eg Marcus rashford and Kevin de bruyne.
After watching this I am even more looking forward to the new hopefully 7 part PBR series. Why on earth did @pinkbike decide to not release episodes in between races. Would have been even better.
Big news thisbyear is the tyre battle. Seemed to be maxxis getting a lot of flats this week. Santa cruz syndicate were on the prototype tyre as well this weekend and they had heaps of issues. I just switched to continental and have been loving them and they have proved to be quick.

Question: Why less coil in the front when most racers run coil in the rear? Is fine spring rate adjustment more important in the front than in the rear? Better to combine progressive rate in the front and linear rate in the rear?
