I have these delgteen gouache sticks! Got the 18 standard version and the pastels version. They're nice ro play with, im glad you're doing a video on thme because i wanted to see some ideas and inspirations to incorporate them in my work! 😂
I hope you feel better soon! Being sick during the summer heat always feels worse. 😥 I've never heard of gouache paint sticks before, interesting to see how they work!
You can smudge and move them a bit until they start to set up and then they basically stay put. You can add a bit water to get them going again, though. And thank you!
Could it be from the wildfire smoke, i hope you feel better sending prayers of blessings of healing ...enjoy your videos i always like learning new art supplies..💛🎨✍👩🎨
Thank you! I thought when it started as just a sore throat that it might have been smoke but then it went full head cold/sinus infection and knocked me completely out for a week. I'm now taking antibiotics. 😷
Just curious if you have a sketch book for each year? I noticed you only wrote “ July 8th” with no year on the back of your sketch of the alley between the buildings. Love your sketches !
My small sketchbooks that I use for urban sketching usually get used up very quickly and I also always write the dates of when I started it to when I finished (including the year) on the spine of the book.
Thank you for introducing us to these paints. I never heard of them before.

They are fun. I just started using them on stone paper and they work so well on it too.
I’m gonna take a guess that you’re from TORONTO !! The distillery district piece gave it away! Love your work!
Thank you! Yes, I'm in Toronto and I live near the Distillery so it crops up a lot.
These are great I bought them about a year ago and there so much better and opaque that the kids versions
Since they look a lot like oil pastels, can they be moved around with your finger? Feel better!

What is the binder in theese sticks? Is it gum arabic?
I have no idea. I used google translate on it and absolutely no product info for it. I'm assuming gum arabic or some binder that is water soluble.
@@eileenreillyarts1229 Thanks! It’s still a very intriguing paint set; I never heard of gouache sticks before. Thanks again for your video 🙂.
